We made this for supper last night, it was very good! We used a 3 notch Lodge #9 and by the time the cornbread rose it was filled to the absolute brim. That's a lot of anything! We ate half of it for supper, the rest will make good lunches for work this week. Thanks for another winner of a recipe.

Mud, I bought a little round griddle at an estate auction. When I started to clean it I realized it wasn’t cast iron but wrought iron. (WIRco upon further research) any difference in cleaning or seasoning procedures?

No, I just wanted something other than tomato sauce. This isn't a long enough cooking time to cause problems from the acid.
