Perfect question.. However in most of times the Makeup stream used to be Pure glycol when you need to increase its concentiration and Molar flow to run the Recycle the Glycol stream. But in My case i want to do the opposite so i have to Mixed it with water to reduce its Conentiration and its Molar flow to Run the Recycle according to my calculations.. However as i told this Process will be optimized again in My next series [Plants case Studies] and i'll show the differences between both techniques beside other optimization ways. Regards Mohammad Assir
hey guys! you guys forgot how he outstanding selected a cool music that makes you watch the voiceless explanation with be tired, This guy is good in his way of doing things. Weldone brother.
Well in Steady state Mode this process can be done in wide range of pressures and temperatures "they havn't that effect". However i choose these values based on many research papers "i can send you some of them". Finally actually this process will optimized again from many ways on my next series soon [Chemical Plant case studies] + [Dynamic Simulation and Process control] when i'll repeat this process with the real plant values "Dynamic Simulation".
How come pressure is increasing in a cooler E-102 ? In practice, the pressure will slightly drop through cooler, then the pressure will be adjusted by the pump. But in this simulation you put the wrong pressure outlet at Cold TEG (outlet of E-102) which higher than its inlet pressure without adding some work. In this case, the hysys still gave you the blue colored but not the correct result. But, thanks for sharing.
salam alikom mohamed ! , so i want to thank you again for this content it really helped me , i wish you all good for what you are doing , now i want to ask something about this simulation (Glycol Dehydration ) , i required aspen version 9 , and it works perfectly , i followed your steps and completed the simulation properly with no problems , our results converged except for one , the Absorber T100 , the inlet matchs but the outlet temperature differs its ( -35 for dry gas an d -40 for the rich TEGlycol ) so tried to modify the colum , on flow sheet i choosed split all inlet , and the temperature converged to your result . so my question is what difference does it make (split all inlet ) and why all parametres were the same except for the temperature . i hope u can answer me on the one , and thank you for your work ! you can check your email , i sent a sceenshot .
sofiane 33 Sure bro.. i liked how you explained your process and I'll be in contact with you but i need to take a look about somethings on your process first.. so it will be great if you send me the (column, its streams details..). Finally am planing to optimize all these processes (Gas processing + Refining processes series) on my next series [ Chemical Industries and Case studies principles ]. However just send me these details at [ dr-zoling@hotmail.com] again and i'll be in contact with you. Regards Mohammad Assir
yeah sure it will be my pleasure but am sorry i did'tn get you well.. but anyway you can send me e-mail to (dr-zoling@hotmail.com) with your problem and it will be great if you send screenshot for you case..^^
Stripping gas is located at Glycol recovery boiler, addition of some other vapour (mostly use a little flow of HC gas from fuel gas) to the reboiler will decrease the mole frac of water. So it will help to increase the purity of Glycol. Common TEG regeneration reboiler use distributor pipe along the bottom of the reboiler.
Hi Assir, I have inquiry on the simulation process, particularly in simulating the absorber unit. I have dropped you an e-mail. Please take a look when you are available. Thank you!
Mohammad Assir hi, is Dr-zoling@hotmail.com right? I've resent.. my email is skzyang@outlook.com. Please check ur junk folder as well.. Thank you so much!
No actually it so clear but the problem must be in your network.. it happened with me 2 when I use slow network ! just try to change your modem or your area and try it again.. and I really hope that you can see it clearly soon..**
hi very help full video , but i dont understand why you add water feed and you want to remove water from the whole process

thanks brother very very useful information

These are good instructional videos.
Thank you very much Prosimulate..^^
Thank you Mohammad for this video
You welcome bro.. I appreciate that..**
I have a problem when i using reaction in absorber colomn and the solver not convergen, what the problem that?
Thanks so much Mohammad .
Any time..** you welcome I really appreciate that Kifah..**
Haha man I appreciate the music in the background! Makes it fun to work
Greatly appreciated!
Thank you for this useful video,I have question why you change glycol package by PR equation
Anytime bro.. well just to adjust the recycle. I'll explain all that agaib in details in my next series soon.
I have a error of two liquids found in column on all stages
how can I remove it?
Hello, Mr Assir! Thanks a lot for lesson! Can you send me please hysys file of this process?
Of course.. sure.. Just send me an email on (dr-zoling@hotmail.com)
I need it too ... obonukutminister@gmail.com
How did you determine the values of pressure and temperature in each equipment? Are there any difference?

Mohammad Assir thank you sir
Why pressure drop way too big in your E-101?
And are you sure only have one tray in your stripper?

Mr Assir
could you please send the HYSYS file to me ?
Sure.. wts your email ?
No Stripping Gas?
You mean.. The Rich gas Stripper ?
