So you want to try that shiny new Linux distribution. Or maybe 20 of them. Before you spend the time, bandwidth and drive space downloading and installing them, take 'em for a quick test on your browser. ANY browser -- even the one on your phone. It's free and it's the fastest way to get that first impression of a Linux distro.
Just know that it's not the BEST way to experience the performance of said distro :D

It was fun to test out different distros on the test site. Performance was slow but i got enough information on the distros I had been thinking about to try their live USBs or avoid them completely.
Hi Jason :-D. I have been using DistroTest since it first came out and ❤ it!!! Thanks for the great video so more people will find this gem! 😀❤🐧🐧🐧🐧
This is pretty cool, thanks for sharing!
This is actually perfect for me! I know next to nothing about Linux, but this will massively help me start without fear of installing a bunch of stuff.
there is also distrosea
Made my day good going sire. Much obliged.
Thx

What a great thing!
very ground breaking.Wonder why it was not tried before.
They don't promote and market it much. There's a lot of improvements they could also bring. I think the more popular it becomes, the more their servers will hurt :)
@@LinuxForEveryone I'm wondering what you mentioned about the way people have missed it up for others and why they even bothered too.Jealous maybe
It WAS so much better when the machines had internet connectivity. You could add repos, install software etc
@@LinuxForEveryone regardless of ant issues,I have it bookmarked and have already looked at some distros.A more precist info would be nice,Like based on Debian or Arch,or whatever.
@@LinuxForEveryone Yea I was chatting with Thomas Castleman of Drauger OS and he mention something like that. But,he didn;t see Hanna Montana was on list.
Last time you did this distrotest.net crashed 😆
Hahaha! True, true. But that was FORBES! This is just my little UA-cam channel :)
I tried it out a while ago, didn't like it. At least for me is so laggy I will never try it out again. I guess I'm really far away from the servers.
I wanted to test Hanna Montana Linux, but alas just tested the live image,, not bad but they failed me on the trial. Nice concept but if it keeps on, people will get too disappointed and believe is the real deal.. Let everyone make some effort and take this seriously. I walked away from them, new people to Linux will walk away even faster
