Just got started, brand new to the vintage camera game (Fort Benning, GA)
I have 2 x 8mm cameras, both 1940’s models. I just started shooting Fomapan film last weekend, I don’t know how it will come out but we will find out shortly. I’ll be having my film developed next week and fingers crossed for useable footage. This was a great video, thank you!!

I have those exact same lenses but a Bolex H8 as my camera. Its amazing what you can buy for almost nothing!

@@Asset1968 Yes, I hope it stays "our little secret" otherwise prices will explode!

@@johnarnehansen9574 That is very nice. Did you use it? In Portugal that would be really rare! In those years that would be a Rolls Royce and few could afford that!

bullshit, they don't make 8mm film anymore, neither Kodak nor Fuji. There are no laboratories to develop them.

Have you seen the video before stating your BS? Who mentioned Kodak or Fuji? Andec Labs in Berlin will do it. And you can find new film here - fomaobchod.cz/en/blackwhitereversalfilms/
