Just got started, brand new to the vintage camera game (Fort Benning, GA) I have 2 x 8mm cameras, both 1940’s models. I just started shooting Fomapan film last weekend, I don’t know how it will come out but we will find out shortly. I’ll be having my film developed next week and fingers crossed for useable footage. This was a great video, thank you!!

I have those exact same lenses but a Bolex H8 as my camera. Its amazing what you can buy for almost nothing!

Not seen much new Reversal Film stock in colour for 8mm ? only negative but happy to shoot Black & white which i do quite often ...last year or so
I don´t see any colour film for sale in Europe!

bullshit, they don't make 8mm film anymore, neither Kodak nor Fuji. There are no laboratories to develop them.
