Where cane i get this vocoder? Is free? Name stampel vst?
Yeah it's free, the website I got it from has since disappeared though I had to dig a bit to find it and yeah it's called Stempel :)
@@benshipleymusic I downloaded stempel but how do you put it with the rest of the effects on lmms like you did?
i put vocals in fx 7, synth in fx 8 and vocoder (just used the default ladpsa one) in fx 9, and did what you said about panning. What I hear when I press play, however, is just the audio put through the vocoder, not using the melody of the synth (which only plays one note at a time btw). To see whether or not the synth was even connected i muted it and the sound stopped, so it definitely had something to do with it all. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?
Try swapping the pan on the voice & the synth, the vocoder I use will only work if the voice is on a certain side (I can't remember which side lol)
@@benshipleymusic Saw your suggestion and tried, it was the synth going through the vocoder with no vocals, so basically the opposite, i'm starting to wonder if this means i need to do something to combine them? Thanks for your response either way
@@MChead-is4sn Is your synth panned opposite to your vocals? (synth on one side, vocals on the other) If they aren't, that's the problem :)
@@benshipleymusic yeah first thing i said the vocals were 100 and synth -100, then second time is when i tried out what you suggested and swapped them. Again, thanks for the reply, and i really hope I'm not missing something simple and being irritating
