PALE GIRL TIP:
I'm very pale and so I always go for bronzers that have a pink undertone because it just looks most natural.

Thanks for this...had this product about a year and just couldn't figure how to makeale it work for me, perhaps as I was just seeing it as a bronzer that looked way too warm/red on me...now.im going back to try again thinking of it as more of a blush product. I was convinced it must be for more tan complexions but you've given me hope I can wear it again!

I have this products and it's wonderful I do use it as a bronzer and as a contour and I love it.
I saw this on their website the other day and was completely uninterested, but this one shadow look has completely changed my mind! It looks amazing on you!

I think this would be perfect for that "sun burned" look. You know when you get a little too much sun and get that rosy color on your cheeks and forehead? That's a really pretty look, but maybe I'm just weird haha.

I bought this two days ago. Im really pale so this blush looks like bronzer more than blush but it gives you bronze mixed with blush look. Its so lovely

Favourite bronzer. Most of the other ones I tried just make me look dirty. This one works well for my complexion.

I just ordered this - thank you so much for the review!!! To see the product I blocked out your lip color with my hand because it affects the total look; as you said, almost any lip color will work! This is what I'd hoped Tarte's Color Clay Bronzer in Rose would be on me!
I just looked at this on the balm's website and their swatch really doesn't capture how rosy it really is.

Em, this is my perfect shade of bronzer, as its quite pink. Ive hit pan! However I dont like the sheen. Do you know of amy other pink/rose bronzers that have a matte finish?

Do you have the blush from Tarte's Carried Away set from a few years ago? Can you please tell me if this is similar to that? I have been on the hunt for a dupe or even something similar that is like a blush that can double as a bronzer(not contour) and has a slight sheen to it. I love that blush cuz it was my one step cheek color no bronzer or highlight needed. Just glowy cheeks. But please let me know. I know Makeup Forever has one that I'm gonna get but I'm curious as to this one

You can tell in the swatches the Balm Desert looks more like a blush shade than an actual bronzer. Did you mention the price? Since I'm a light skintone and not into the bronzing I'd use this for a blush probably.
I just got this and I really love it. It's not a blush on me at all but its a gorgeous bronzer. I dont see any rose in this though. Maybe its just my skintone

Emily, do you think that a color like that would work as a bronzer for fair skin? I'm kind of pale as a ghost, so I'm scared of bronzers because I think they will look to dark and muddy or to orange on my face
