- Doing some training and dogfighting in the new Razbam F-15E, staring with some simple rate fights to the more complex vertical fights. Though it is big, heavy and not as maneuverable as the F-15C, the Strike Eagle is a formidable dogfighter in the hands of a disciplined pilot. Enjoy.
0:10 - SU-27 rate fight
2:03 - F-14B rate fight with rolling scissors
3:14 - F-16C initial fight
4:38 - F-16C switching to a vertical fight
7:40 - F-16C vertical fight with F-15 advantage

Fantastic stuff GVad, very informative as usual.
Very interesting vid, thank you for making this. Been really enjoying the 15, but was not sure what her fight was in the booth.
That was amazing to watch! I was glued to the fight. Great insights 💪
i liked it. good watch.
So, F-15E *can* dogfight?
Yes, and very well too.
Most videos about the F-15E show horizontal rate turns. I was waiting for someone to Randy Cunningham the fight.
It’s interesting seeing your input when you consider what some other popular channels say about the mudhen’s dogfighting capabilities. 😋 It’s great to see because I’m not much of a dogfighted, I blow shit up on the ground and I’d written the F-15E off due to its size. But it turns out it’s actually pretty capable!
Do you have plans to make another video of F-15E vs. F-15C with the same armaments with or without missiles?
Wasnt planning on it, C is a better dogfighter, lighter and less drag, same case as Mirage IIIE vs IIIC. 15E is just has bettrr avionics and can muliti role beter.
just a suggestion. if you could show us the line drawing (i mean the computer generated aerial combat) of the fights so we can better visualize the method of doing the 1 circle, 2 circle vs vertical tactics.
Thats more of the theory of dogfighting vs how to fight in a specific plane. You can join my server (link in the description) and we go over that stuff, Optimus is one of the guys who did it a while ago now he's giving me great fights. A few guys there will work with you.
But to explain it simply, 2-circle is chasing the other guys tail, 1-circle is turning to his nose. 2-circle is better for the planes that can sustain thrust and speed, 1-circle is for the planes that have smaller turn radiuses. Vertical is always better (same theory 1 or 2 circle) if you have a powerful plane with good thrust to weight, planes that can stay fast and climb.
@@FSX404 Thanks Gvad!
Great fight😁
