We have spent two summers traveling to Norway from Spain in furgocamper to photograph and record wildlife (arctic fox, musk ox, puffins, etc ...), and every year we are more in love with this country. Norway is fantastic. Congratulations on the video.
As s Swede that has traveled quite a lot, I must admit that our neighbour country is amazingly beautiful. Still I miss my favourite place on the list, Geiranger fjord. It is also a ”must see”.
Locals don't like the tourist traps. Nature you have to stand in line for doesn't count. It's for solitude and peace, not annoying and being annoyed by other people. I'm from Norway, and I'd rather just go outside and climb a tree than go to Geiranger. Even Lofoten isn't worth visiting anymore. There are places right next to all this stuff just as beautiful and with no tourists. Norwegians go there.
Also, Loenvatnet is the only place on your list where I have actually been, but I absolutely loved that place! Probably the most beautiful place I have been so far!
C'est pour moi, le plus joli pays que j'ai visité :la mer, les montagnes , les fjords, les rivières, les glaciers, la nature, les vastes étendues de nature vierge, les églises en bois debout, le soleil de minuit....et les moustiques...
Great work! We have been traveling for 6 months in Scandinavia with our Van, thanks for your suggestions! We also racommend the Værøy Island, we left our hearts there!
It's great with guides that can show people all over the world how and where to go and visit these sensitive sites of nature of which less and less remain due to human destruction and carelessness. great job!
I was in Norway last year and I fell in love with this amazingly beautiful country! I will definitely go back and explore as many as possible of your extraordinary top 10!
"How about sitting on this edge..." I almost threw up! I hate heights! :D I'm relatively new to photography and have just started venturing out of my home country (Wales). I was in Scotland a couple of weeks ago, but Norway is absolutely 100% at the top of my list of places I want to go. Along with Iceland.
WOW...what an awesome and informative video!!! I've been to Norway 3 times now...cycling, hiking and walking and it truly is my favourite country. June 2017 I am looking to head to the North of the country for the first time...I plan to start in Helsinki, taking a train north before cycling across Sweden and to Narvik. From there I WAS going to get a hire car and head to Lofoten...after watching this though, I'll head to Senja. Great video dude!!!
If you have time, you can see both Senja and Lofoten. Travel distance between those two are not so bad. Senja is large with so many places who would give you real "Once in a lifetime" experience. So be shure you dont miss the places.
You can travel by ferry from Gryllefjord (Senja) to Andenes (Vesterålen, and drive through Vesterålen to Lofoten. All three regions is worth the trip. You should spend at least two to three days in each region to see as much as you can.
If you choose to go by ferry to Andenes, I recommend to drive on the west side of the island of Andøy when you drive to Sortland. The roads a far better on the east side, but nature is just breathtaking on the west side of the island. When you get close to Sortland, there is a fjord to the east wich you should consider going to. It is called Godfjord wich is accessed through Hognfjord, and is a very nice place worth a look. When you come to Sortland, you could choose to stay there to the next day, and take a trip to Nyksund in Øksnes and Hovden/Nykvåg in Bø the next day. Both Øksnes and Bø is worth exploring more, but you can see what you have time for. When you travel further to Lofoten, you can choose to go by ferry from Melbu, or to drive through Gullesfjord and Raftsundet. The ferry takes about 30-40 minutes if I remeber correctly, In Lofoten you should visit Henningsvær, Svolvær, Kabelvåg, Lofotr at Borge, just outside Leknes (a viking museum), Haukelandstranden (a very nice beach, but don't expect good bathing temperatures), and Å. If you have time, you should also visit Skrova an island only accessable by boat, outside Svolvær. There is also a place called Nusfjord, but it has developed into this rediculous expensive tourism machine, and is no longer worth a visit in my opinuion. I'm not that well known around Senja, but I have heard Gryllefjord, Senjahopen and Ersfjord are very beautiful places. These are just a few places of interest, and what you should really do is to have enough time to explore the regions. They are all breathtaking in it's own way.
Another thing worth mentioning is the weather in june. It can still be very cold here then. If you have a chance to postpone it, weather is usually much more stable and warm from mid july and out september.

Morten, this is **amazing** what a beautiful country - as a non-driver, I'm presuming most of these places are inaccessible? Looks like I might have to talk someone into taking me :)
Ross Jukes Photography, well, renting a car makes everything much easier. I've been to Jotunheimen and Hardanger, and there are busses passing some really nice hiking trips. I would recommend Besseggen and Knutshøe in Jotunheimen. The tour starts right by the main road.

Nice video, straight forward and beatifull images. I hope to visit Norway soon! Thank You.
I have driven through parts of Norway. I was a bit surprised to see Trolltunga, Priekestolen missing from the list but I can understand how more beautiful other places are. Wonderful pictures and video.
Love your timelapse videos! 🤩
Unfortunately you are right about Lofoten. When I was there the first time, which is 20 years ago, it still was a stunning place. I missed Runde with all the famous birds!
Thanks for the video!
Brilliant! Thank you ... I was there in 2014 and it took my breath away .. Norway is so beautiful.
