    The ideas presented here could easily be implemented into a proper Gen IV remake, where how we now know how Tram Galactic got started with Legends: Arceus, we could have Cyrus be a fallen Champion, his executives be his Elite Four and his motivation be his disillusionment in people and Pokemon after having to have saved them so many times from themselves.
    Cyrus inexplicably has a Crobat in DPPt, so it could be a hint at his tragic origin in being an originally caring caretaker.
    Of course, hindsight is 20-20, but things like this are still fun to speculate.

    I will say, it's quite shocking that your channel hasn't exploded yet with how informative your videos are

    A huge thanks to the whole team for this series! This has me very excited to write some stories and build some worlds. Maybe, if I find some time, I'll even try my hand to write my own small monster catching game to try my hand putting these narrative ideas into practice

    One day I'm going to win the lottery and give you enough money to commission a fan region with a UA-cam visual novel like Cardinal/Kaskade/Tempest/Asone and a fan game built from the ground up

    Genuinely such a good series with amazing ideas. I’d love a « post-game » like that!

    Truly amazing work on this series. You really did your homework and set a high bar on the analysis of the mechanics, narrative, presentation and world building and the relationship between those points in order to have a consistent experience.
    Good luck with the upcoming videos!

    Ooo, what if a version of the Pokemon League was devised by a king or queen or someone like that as a trial/rite of passage for their heir? A mastery of commanding Pokémon in battle is to be expected of royalty, methinks.
    The lords of each city would’ve been told to prepare a challenge for the heir - a unique test of wit that would become the gym puzzles, and of course a battle. The heir would go around challenging these lords, earning some sort of keepsake as proof of their victory.
    And the king/queen/whatever would then be waiting to challenge them themself to see how far their heir had come.

    I think your superhero story arc would be a great part 2 of the game! Tales of Arise did that; they gave you goal to reach towards, and you could definitely feel yourself getting there, but once you more or less accomplished it, they hit us with "But wait, there's more!", but not in a way that gelt like it was post game, but in a "Oh this is not actually over is it?" kind of way. It was laid out almost like there were 2 games in one; it even had 2 different opening sequences

    I only found this series after it was over but I'm very happy to have found it and this channel. You and your team did a wonderful job with this study and it got me to think more critically about a series I hold so dear. The one question left unanswered for me was your outro music. Did you get it specially made for your series by Wintergatan or is it available elsewhere for others to enjoy in full? It's such a catchy tune and I would love to hear the entire thing (if there is in fact more song that we haven't heard).

    Excellent series. I will await your next project with interest. I binged all this in two days and, quite frankly, no other content I have found fills this comfortable, intellectually engaging and well-made niche. Thanks for filling my head once again with horribly good ideas that are going to torment me into the future. Unless... I might have a few ideas that might show up in my own work, at a level low enough to evade CnDs from Nantundo. Again, thanks for all the amazing content. I will see you later.

    So very glad the algorithm suggested your channel. I'm in a fortunate position where I watch enough niche pokemon content that I often get suggested channels like yours. I've already subscribed and I'm excited to see what you do next. Keep it up champ in the making.

    I may be commenting a bit late, but I also joined the series a bit late o it's appropriate, I'm so glad I was able to find such a hidden gem on UA-cam even if I don't agree with everything, but hey that's just opinions, good job to everyone who worked on this.

  • @brianzmek7272

    Why did i not get the update when this was new? My thoughts on the idea are that obviously all gym leaders have a team for all badges 1-8 and most if not all hava a team that is actually e4 tier (probably all but some only weak e4 if this is true even non liuge opps gym leaders can help a campion and act asan e4 member) then the public reward for beting the e4 is you have no cap on how many Pokemon you can own. But the secondary purpose is to test leug opps members that only leug opps knos about. As for if it is public i think that everyone knows that all the champions are league opps but all other members are secret to outsiders.

    To make having criminals have more than six Pokemon and or send all their Pokemon out at once work, those that do should be weak trainers with weak Pokemon and or being bad at battling as they rely on their unfair advantage.

    • @RadioactiveMagicGames
      @RadioactiveMagicGames  Рік тому +2

      Indeed yes, that is what I talked about in the 'villains' episode. So having abilities that can hit all enemies like Razor Leaf or Blizzard become very helpful or vital!

  • @Couch0C
    @Couch0C Рік тому +1

    I don't like the idea of having multiple different trainers pass the league. It feels a lot less special when you know that there are others that accomplished the same thing in universe.

    • @PhonyLyzard
      @PhonyLyzard Рік тому +3

      I mean, that's always been the case hasn't it, Lance was always the champion before Blue, and Blue was always the champion before Red.

    • @Couch0C
      @Couch0C Рік тому +1

      @@PhonyLyzard I meant that I don't like having a shit ton of trainers being champ level in one region. In Kanto it's only Blue, Red and Lance. The way he's describing it makes it out like random npcs can potentially be champ level like those ace trainers on victory road.

    • @PhonyLyzard
      @PhonyLyzard Рік тому +2

      @@Couch0C Oh, yeah, I guess that would make it feel less special, even in Scarlet and violet there's only 3 champions, You, Geta, and Nemona.
