Wow this lake and the landscapes around it look amazing. What a place to go exploring and hiking. The waterfalls along the way look great too. What an adventure.
Very beautiful mountains and lakes there! Great to know you will need a permit if camping out there. Glad to see snow on the mountains even in the summer.
The scenery there is just so beautiful. I enjoy all of the information you shared through the video - made it quite informative. Does kind of look like Banff in some areas like you mentioned.
Hi what a beautiful hike I have a question for you, how many miles to get to the second lake ? How many hrs did it take you to get there. Thank you so much
My time was also a total of 10 hours round trip to the second lake. Considering am a somewhat slow hiker at high altitudes, the hike is easily doable in far less time for those better acclimated to the altitude.
Wow what epic landscapes! This is a hike I'd love to do. The snow still near the peaks, the jagged cliffs, the absolute nature is breathtaking. Seems like a good hike to conquer. How long was the whole trek? Oh those trees are massive. Just getting lost in nature. I love it.
Great video. The best I’ve seen of Big Pines Lakes.
Thanks, appreciate it

Awesome drone shots at the start. The hike looks good, the hills, pin trees and the stream of water. I am up for this hike. Thanks for sharing.

It took about 10 miles rd trip to the second lake and about 7-8hrs to get to the 3rd lake for me

Yeah it was 11 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 2,000ft but its 16 miles rd trip if you hike to all 7 lakes with 3k feet of elevation gain
@@thelonehiker4698 that's a doozy of a hike. Elevation not too bad but, 16 miles. Boy howdy
Do you have to make a reservation if you just want to hike for one day and not sleep over night ?
No you don’t need a reservation for a day hike, it’s definitely a hike worth exploring
Can you name each individual lake you visited on this hike??
The lakes don’t have actual names, they go by numbers like first lake, second lake and third lake. Atleast according to the trails app
