- We just finished one of the toughest exam seasons of our lives. And we're about to experience one of the longest summers of our lives. We're living in a unique time, where we have a huge opportunities waiting for us. This video goes through how to seize that opportunity, and grow into the success you deserve.

I love Violinist Leia Zhu | The Violin Girl. yes, I watch mr salles, and first rate tutors, i also think they're cute together. freesciencelessons is literally the best. hydrocarbons and that. I love GCSE vlogs, favourite youtubers? ani^, sarah chu, shiggs, smile with sola, henry brand, akshar patel, sheryl, and so on and so forth. GCSE Lit texts? I mean I do Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, an Inspector Calls and Power and Conflict Poetry. I'll be real, I prefer AQA as an exam board over Pearson Edexcel, but I still do Edexel maths :( But I do AQA for both English and Higher Tier Separate Science. I hope to get all grade 9s in my GCSEs. I am thinking about English Language for A level choices as well. Don't judge, it's really different to the GCSE. Anyway, getting a 9 in english I would say isn't easy, but is simple. Simple studying. Simple techniques. Study timetables. Study Schedules on the easter holiday. Results day is going to be crazy.

I love the idea of picking only 3 Goals! I've had so many things in mind to do this summer, but the idea of narrowing it down, and purely focussing on 3 allowed me to realise that its ok not to master all the crafts within 2 months haha

You know what my biggest fear to do with exam results anxiety is that I will be left behind that my friends will do better than me and move forward and I'll be left behind.
Honestly, that's a valid fear, it's normal to feel that way - I know for a fact many people feel that way with results too. Being left behind isn't fun at all. But in my opinion, real friends will still be there for you, whether your results are "behind" or not.

GCSES were the most stressful thing i was always at the lower site for it too

i did my gcses this year. The best advice i can give you is to stay on top of your work, rather than trying to pick up content for next year. Maybe use this summer to briefly go over what work you've done over year 10- make all your revision resources for year 10 content now. There's obviously still time in year 11, but i'd really recommend doing it now. I started studying for my gcses 40 days before the first exam, and i was under immense stress and would cry profusely (i probably felt worse because i only had one set of mocks and i barely studied for them). So if for you, i'd recommend doing some work from now, but don't be too hard on yourself, and enjoy ur summer!!
Going to year 12 guys, so good for us. Had no anxiety because I home school and looking to take igcse

how did you find it overall?. Personally im dreading the results because im anxious that my pen ink wont show on the scanner properly or an examiner wont mark extra paper or my paper gets lost idk?
I found all of the exams quite challenging, especially maths :/ (i did edexcel). It's funny you say the ink thing, because i thought i had the same problem. Did the pen you use say "gel pen"? Cause mine said "Gel ink pen" which was real confusing. I checked it with a scanner at home and it came up so hopefully it comes up on their big scanners too...
@@girlinworld it didnt but mine was the papermate inkjoy 1mm pen. And I used another one that felt like a gel pen
@@krixzby695 if you do have access to a scanner i do reccomend testing both of them, but i do hope all your hard work gets marked and im wishing you the best for August 💗

hey , i came new to the uk and i had no time to revise for gcse or not even revision but NEW CONTENT it was tense in 2 months i did foundation for everything , im going to reset maths cuz i need a 6 but do you know any way of ressiting sciences
I'm not sure but you should try talking to your school about it and see how that goes
hey, first off, you've been put in a really difficult situation, and no matter what you get in August, you should still be really proud of yourself!
As for resitting, like the previous commenter kindly said, it would be a good idea to ask your school about it. However, I do think that it would be a good idea to apply for colleges if your school doesn't take resits, as in a lot of colleges resits are available. i hope this was helpful and let me know if you have any other questions !

@@user-kn7yq2mw4j again, that is an awesome goal - this is going to be more difficult for you than the average student here, because you've only just come to the UK. This is going to be really difficult but it is definelty still achievable as you seen like a hard working person, and medicine is such an amazing field to go into. Also, since your school knows your situation, I would assume that they would be more helpful and more willing to support you - but do check !
