Catholicism is a false religion.
I really struggled with my Catholic faith due to the evil rape, murder and beatings of thousands of boys and children in Ireland for decades.
I do believe in God but this was pure evil,
Catholic Church just moved them around,
I want to connect with god more and I'm praying again,
I don't know why there is evil in the Catholic Church and why they didn't get rid of it,
That's why whole generations are lost in my country,
Which is sad,
Now I'm trying to connect with Christianity more than Catholic or any religion,
I pray I'm guided in the right way 🙏

At 70, I had some issues with the world that made me bitter, stressed, crabby etc. Social media made me see things in a unhealthy light. One day, I was praying and was instantly overpowered by simplicity. I realized that I am nothing more than a child of God. Not only is this not complicated, it’s pure freedom. No matter what your perception of yourself or others is, we are all SIMPLY children of God. My wife noticed a change in me and one day ,at dinner, she asked me what has come over me. She really likes my new approach to life.

Show me how to totally surrender so that he shows me what my purpose is.
I'd like true love, financial freedom and a purposeful joyful job that makes my heart sing.

I've seen many Catholics complaining about The Chosen for various reasons, and truthfully i never knew Jonathan was a practicing catholic and watching this i may commit to watching The Chosen as i don't believe Jonathan would've taken on this role if his heart wasn't at peace with the script and adaption, bless you both for not being lukewarm.

It looks like a great app I'm just kind of shocked for somebody with that kind of money that they want to merchandise and monetize this app I think they could afford to do this without charging any money for it if you want to really help then make the app free
Mark and Jonathan just work with Hallow. Neither man owns it. Apps and platforms like that need a lot of money to operate.

If you want manly and authentic Christianity, look into Eastern Orthodox Christianity. It’s the original Catholic Church that Christ founded.
Why do Catholics call themselves Christian’s? I’m Christian and I never get a cross with ashes on my forehead. We Christian’s have different beliefs (not judging Catholicism) we are aware of Ash Wednesday but don’t get ashes. We also don’t get palms on Palm Sunday, and we definitely don’t pray to saints.
Catholics are the original Christians, that is why.

I’ve see. A few clips of mark with his ashes this year. The ones here look like they have been professionally done. No priest gets it hat nice.
Mark and Jonathan attended Mass with the Franciscan friar/Catholic priest Fr. Mark-Mary Ames, who gave them the ashes. To have ashes "professionally done" for show would be a bit blasphemous and shallow; Mark strikes me as much more sincere.

"The Chosen" is NOT a good representation of the life and teachings of Jesus. It does not follow the Gospel accounts of Jesus' life at all.

@ericschmit5911 its a show with dialougue. What did you expect. Jesus was the Messiah, but also a human being like the rest of us. He felt temptation, pain, joy, and every other emotion. The show and its aim was to humanize him, as he was human. Humans talk. We didn't have cell phones and cameras to capture his words back then, and only the really important stuff was transcribed. So, obviously the writers needed him to be saying something. You are looking to far into it. OBVIOUSLY we as viewers know that his dialougue was not to the letter. The point was to capture the SPIRIT of Christ. If you have missed this altogether I feel horrible for you. As you are missing out on the bigger picture here. God Bless.
