Him: I just wanna tell you what this channel is about, i talk about motorsports, i talk about racing...
Me: Subscribed.
At 1:27 you said you are not able anymore to race with bikes. Does this mean never again or only this year?
He is still recovering. He has done some road tests recently so he can still ride. Im guessing what he meant is he can't ride competitively yet.
I was wondering same thing
@@stevenfortier6436 Me too. Thanks for clarifying. I hope Neska can get back on a bike once again!
I'm not so sure the mobility in his left ankle will ever return. He had about as bad of a break you can ever get.
@@mmonkeyman1403 I saw the race and the crash. I've broken a dozen bones in a decade of aggressive track days; thank goodness nothing so serious as to prevent me from returning to the track!
Great video as always. Super informative and well produced. Best of luck this season!
I hope you recover soon and get back onto a bike. I'm really missing your motorcycle content and videos❤
Racing Suits next! 🤟🏻
I think the word you’re looking for “side eyes” is peripheral vision.. great video btw
Love your content. You inspired me to go on the racetrack myself. Thanks for your content
great information naska!
Quite informative video Naskaa👍
I liked your new graphics😍
Alberto, so you have been on the cars? We have missed the on-track motorcycle videos! Good video as always.
Cool vid! What about some aero elements I've seen on F1 helmets recently? My speculations that they're either serving a similar purpose with the bike ones to increase head mobility and comfort or to guide air into the intake.
Your Arai helmet remind me of Marco Simoncelli helmet
F1 is not using a zylon strip anymore top of the visor since 2020. Instead the made the eye opening less tall.
Since 2019 actually
I'm also running the Arai GP-6S helmet, but in Endurance Karting, a great helmet, way beyond what I'm required to wear (basically any road bike helmet is the minimum standard), but you only get one head, so protect it as best you can.
Finally an Arai!!! Great choice Naska!!!
Love it! Thanks for the information!!
Naska, great videos!!! Love your content!!! You said you will not be able to race a motorcycle. Is it for time or like forever?
Please answer 😔
Only for this year, but he could do something also this year maybe
@@spartanent5517 Only for 2021
Hopefully temporary. But if it happens again, hmmm it could be fatal and I couldn't imagine myself :(
He doesn't race because he broke his ankle and he isn't able to race a motorbike
Love your motorcycle videos. Glad ur okay. Hope this year you do some races on the bikes.
Side of your eyes = peripheral vision.
Love your videos Naska
Being able to see out the corner of your eye would probably be a good fit too.
very informative video! thanks a bunch!
Thanks for the information I love your videos
Your car helmet is very similar in shape to motorcycle helmets from the early 2000’s. My first helmet had no aero and it would kill my neck after long high speed rides. My head would wobble like crazy. When I got my first Arai 10 years later with aero devices on it, wow, what a difference in comfort. My head stayed still in the wind!
Car helmets are also aero but there aero optimise to limited degree of movement and some car hlemt are not aero at all cuz there inside the car cockpit
Hey dude! Great informative chanel you got. I was wondering, last time I was watching motoGp i noticed on left forearm of Mark Marquez suit there is some kind of electronic device blinking green and I cant find on the internet what it is. Do you know what that is for?
Great video man!
Would have been interested to find out difference in shell thickness, padding thickness, visor thickness, make up of shell, penetration prevention measures of both helmets
Such a great information bro I learn something from U thank you.
Great content. Loving these explanatory videos.
By the way, does anyone know the answer to the following question. This would be a good topic, albeit in short form, for Alberto Naska to make a video on.
Why racing motorbikes do not have rear view mirrors?
I mean having mirrors is always an advantage as they indicate or warn you of potential riders in your vicinity and in terms of racing you'd be able to anticipate and defend against overtakes.
It's so that you focus on only what's in front of you - it's the rider behind's responsibility to pass safely, not your responsibility to get out of their way and make it easy for them (unless you've been shown a blue flag because you're being lapped, but that's why the flags exist - the marshals will communicate with you if necessary).
Trying to defend from overtakes that you see in your mirrors (or even just watching your mirrors) would take your focus away from what's in front, and would lead to much more dangerous riding because people would be much less predictable. When you're focused on what's in front and riding as well as you can, you're predictable to other riders, and it's safer for everyone because you know (roughly) what someone is going to do at any given point.
There's also the matter of weight saving and aerodynamics, and that mirrors would often be the first things to break if there's a crash.
I hope that answers your question! I'm still slow, so I stand to be corrected, but this is what I understand and have been told by much faster riders about it.
@@shanehart2904 Dude you can shoulder check on bike as simple as that. Why write an essay?
I love your awesome videos keep it up!
My last road race helmet was prepped for the HANS device though if I needed to use one I had to use my sister's LOL
GREAT VIDEO . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK VERY INTERESTING........
Great stuff mate
Sempre quis saber disso! Thanks bro.
YESSS THANK YOU NASKA 😁✊
3:16 dude thats one really really important point. Broke my face in an accident i had end of fabruary. My GSXR 750 is gone since this day. Thanks to the successful operation my face looks pretty much like it did before. nose still a bit off center but im glad to be alive still after crashing with my face into the roof edge of the car. Hit it right with the visorpart. Visor fell off instead of being pushed right into my face.
Thank you for the info.
Great Topic, I've always wondered about.. and Yes Your helmet is dope
Very interesting video. By the way, the Snell graphic was misspelled as Snel.
Great content...
Ciao from Portugal
Great. 1 request: make video about difference between bike safety gears and car safety gears. 😊😊😊
We don’t say tail of the eye like in Italian, you were correct... the side of the eye (sometimes we say the corner of my eye)
Your English is excellent! I saw you on Joe English👍🏼
I use arai sk 6 ped for my karting, and im looking forward to paint it
Man dude im so sad about that you are not able to drive a motorcycle :(, i loved your videos you was and are a insparation for me, like a teacher a learned a lot with you. Well i wanna ty for anythng. keep it up :D
Sad to hear you can't ride motorcycles anymore. I hope the recovery goes well none the less! It seems like you're still having fun racing cards around :)
Wanted to know if that means the motorcycle helmets does not have different density all around the head since there's no way to predict the impact location.
Holy...I needed this so bad
Wait AGV bike and your Arai car. I thought they suited different head types? Did you ever try Arai bike helmet?
Looks amazing I love the design
Great video!!!!
I think you could have gone deeper for example with the air flow inside the helmet but still a very good explanation
I wonder if you can use an f1 helmet for motorcycle use, not for racing or using any sportsbike, but a regular scooter
Great informative vedio👍
great video!
You just got a new sub!!!
Hello!!!!
It's always special when I get a new Arai motorcycle helmet and have been loyal to Arai since I could afford my own. People would always ask how I could pay a grand for a helmet and I always said that it protects the most important part of our body and I want the best. I would save for a long time but I have experienced how good they are multiple times. Unfortunately.
Can I use the motorbike helmet while I go competitive go karting? or no..
4:45 I think the expression you're looking for is "out of the corner of your eye".
Funnily enough, in Spanish it's "con el rabillo del ojo", quite similar to Italian from what I can guess from your comment :)
Or, 'peripheral vision'.
@@Igbon5 yeah, peripheral vision would be the more formal term.
Well explained
So, which is the different one?.....
Maybe you should've write 《what's the difference》 in the title 😉😉😉
Congratulations for the arai graphics, are wonderful
Sick dude
please talk about the helmet's manufacturer variants
The visor panel could have saved Senna’s life
7:10 at 180km/h your helmet feels 0kg. I have AGV Sportmodular and they claim the same at 130km/h. If i ride faster then does the helmet pulls on your neck?
So is a Car Helmet needed on a Barchetta type sportscar on street use?
Yes I do enjoy this video, love it.
this was a very interesting video
Wow nice channel 4k views and no dislikes !!
The side vision you spoke of we call peripheral vision in English.
Nice!
How you mount the gopro bro..👍👍
From Russia with love ✌🏻 I use GP6 helmet for riding my Super Duke on the streets in cold weather. Not so cold inside and small eye port is not a big deal when you riding upright
then good luck when you crash, cause autosports helmets are mostly designed for objects hitting the front
while motorcycle helmets are designed for your head to hit something in a random oriantation
ece testing for instance doesnt make a difference for thresholds for impacts at point B or point R (forehead or neck area)
@@lexel90 you are telling bullshit. Try not to next time
@@FastRu-kl7iy it's true
I broke my femur and shattered my knee broke 6 robe the same time you were injured how can i get that motorcycle helmet you have
What was the crash that sidelined you from motorcycle racing?
you're so funny when you spell the 99,99999 😂
hope i can go to italy somehow
I believe a number of F1 helmets also use the lip spoiler on the helmet. Mercedes as one example but the angle is a lot flatter than on MotoGP helmets :)
Yup, also the rear spoiler is used since 2004 in F1 if I'm not wrong
Naska, are you going to go back to GP Racing after you heal up?
He doesn't race gp? Some italian championship
Molto bene! Grazie mille.
A actual helmet verses a turtle shell
What’s the turtle shell lol? Motorcycle helmets way more safer IMO. I ride motorcycles only though never owned a car never will
Sono italiano ma mi guardo anche questo xd
Siamo in 2 😂

Wait, are you not racing motorbikes ever again? Or will you be back sometime?
Alberto.... you can’t race on bikes no more? Or is just temporary?
Sono incerto sulla pronuncia di "visor" , ma vabè ..
Video ben fatto , complimenti
@Alberto will you ride bike in the next year? What did the doctor say?
Hasta yo lo he entendido y eso que no entiendo muy bien el ingles buen explicación.😉😎
Keep up the good work beto
"Side of your eye" - peripheral vision
When will you be back to MotoGP racing?
Naska, where is the video that you comparish a f1 car and a motogp at the Mugello???
The HANS or similar devices, would have save many auto racers.
Seeing with the side of the eyes= Peripheral vision :)
guardare i video di naska prima in italiano e poi in inglese per farsi un po’ l’orecchio con l’inglese parlato: fatto
Racing suits next hmmm?
Justo lo que queria saber
What! Not able to ride a bike, is this the broken ankle or something else? What a shame - I learned so much from your biking videos
nice helmet!
Side view, peripheral view, lateral view are all the same thing. Good English & even better video!
My old Texas Driving Coach told us "wear the Seat Belt , so you don't have a long way to walk back after a crash " ~~~~pace e grazie
will u race motorbikes this year
Hi Nikola... NO :(
1:05 is that some kind of formula version? Because I wanna try that
It is a series called Formula predator he has a lot of videos about it if i am not mistaken
@@ingendukjennerv2198 yeah, I 've seen more videos and now I know, but now I want to know how much would cost to race I know a car in perfect conditions can be 10000€ but how much would it be to race one season
