I’ve had this bag in the recommendation of Pack Hacker four years ago. It’s always been waaaaaay over kill and too much organization for any use I could find. As a medical marijuana patient I’ve since used it to hold extra bits and bobs related to my medication but I would never pack it out and take it on a trip due to the bulk, over complicated organization and lack of versatility. Much prefer to reach for an AER slim tech pouch or evergoods CAP of whatever size I need for the day.
The aquaguard zippers are only on Evergoods CAP2 Carryology Phoenix collab, shown in this video. The regular CAP2 have the same zippers from their backpacks. I have both, the regular version preferably for me have more “give” and way less stiff than the Phoenix version, so it’s easier to use.
Nice work! Personally, I’m a big fan of the Evergoods CAP2 and the AER (X-Pac versions if you can get hold of them). Another tech kit I recommend is the Dan Matsuda pouch (article #027). The Matsuda pouches are just on another level.
Thanks for this video, really helped. I ordered a leather free Bellroy Tech Kit as my first tech kit and I know it's going to be awesome. Next I hope to replace my old Eastpak Extrafloid with a new EDC bag so you guys' content is greatly appreciated. 🙏 Have a great day from the Netherlands 🙌
The comparison video was not meant to be comprehensive but given the wild popularity of the PD pouch you’re right it was a miss. No worries though, we’ll get it in the next one!
I think the larger Tom Bihn Handy Little Thing Size 2 organizer should have been included in this list - it's my main tech organizer and I don't think there's anything that comes close to its functionality and organization. Another manufacturer that you missed is Alpaka, who seem to have at least 3 tech organizer solutions (often in X-PAC). They are very impressive and should have been considered also.
We’ll add them to the list for the next video. The idea for this one wasn’t to give a comprehensive overview but to give people ideas for what to look for and capacity
I know that you may have heard this already… but… the overhead footage of the Aer Cable kit started out out of focus.. other than that I really enjoyed your overview
Great tips, comparison and product lineup for travel! Love your channel, Dave! We have so many customers who travel for work and play - this kind of content is great to be across. 😁Definitely a channel to click subscribe! ❣
Why are UA-camrs so stuck on YKK zippers, every bag reviewed in this video and most bags these days have YKK zippers, they are standard, so why does everyone that review bags, have to point out they have YKK zippers, unless you buy cheap bags from a knock off site or Chinese cheap sites
I’m glad I’m not the only one with a million organisers and tech kits 😂
😂
Because you are brain dead and get them for nothing
Didn't realize I just watched AN HOUR LONG video about Tech bags.
Thanks.
Hope you enjoyed!
@@CarryologyTV offcourse I did 👍
CAP 2L from Evergoods definitely FTW. Amazing pouch with no doubt.
💯 love that pouch
Another Dave Sam’s review. So glad I found you on this channel. Like the Aer and Black Ember designs.
Thanks!
The peak design tech pouch should have been on this list

Good call out here. Totally agree, those aqua guard zip are more often than not pretty stiff
Yep, YKK RC (rocket coil) at original version much smoother.
What is the mag charger used for the iPhone, Apple Watch. Looks very compact.

We’ll have to check out those Matsuda pouches!

Thank you and glad to hear we could help! Yes keeping checking out our gear comparisons and reviews
Thanks for all the great information on Tech kits. I have found the Thule pouches (all three sizes) to be nice, versatile Tech kits.
We’ll take a look when we refresh. Thanks!
Interesting that Peak Design hasnt been featured in this video...

There are already so many videos on the PD pouch, I'm personally happy to see it wasnt included here.
Since I’m a big fan of thule and peak design so I’m using the peak design tech pouch v2
The peak design pouch is one of the all time greats too. We’ll have to test the alpka for the next comparisson
Great video!
the alpaka elements tech case is my favorite after having tried many of the ones you listed.
Oh yeah. Alpka seems to be the major one missing based on the comments. For sure I’m the next video we’ll grab a couple of their pouches!
And definetly peak design tech pouch

Feedback taken. Thanks for watching!
Surprised to see the Alpaka tech kit wasnt on the list
Seems to be one of the popular ones I missed. We’ll get it on the next comparison!
Also the tech pouch - power packer by side by side is interesting
We’ll have to check it out!
When you see the pouch : 😊
When you see the price : 🤯
Where is alpaka
Maybe on the next one

I think that the wall mart carrier bag should have been included in the list
I’ll check it out to see if we should. Thanks for the rec!
Greatly overpriced, next they will add a tech suit with pockets all over for two thousand

Horribles todos, perdí mi tiempo es este mal video
