- In my last video Poland got screwed over in the Peace conference. This time, they're not gonna sit around waiting for Allies to rescue them. Instead, they've decided to take matters into their own hands against Nazi Germany!
This WWII timelapse has been simulated by AI in the video game Hearts of Iron IV by Paradox Interactive.

@@Gia1911Logous lol total bullshit. If Poland was to win against ussr they would've imperialistically wanted 'white russia' and possible areas extending up to old commonwealth borders. Don't forget they invaded Ukraine during the Russian civil war.

@@donbarzinitut "extending up to old commonwealth borders" as intermarium which was designed as multi-ethnic federation of nations. At least that was what Pilsudski intended. Poland was also against white Russia, one because historical reasons of independence struggle, other because whites wanted to prevail old borders of Russian Tsardom so i don't think their goals would meet common ground... and yet another thing Pilsudski been still quite socialist leaning back in around 1918. So another big nope.
And yeah everybody was invading everybody because there were no clear borders then, ethnicities were very much mixed across all Eastern Europe, and yet another thing of historical borders... everybody wanted as much of that cake as possible. Soviets been also imperialistic - Belarus or Ukraine proclaimed their Republics, but Soviets didn't honour that.
@@MikiUchman Soviets weren't imperialist by definition given its foundation onto pof capitalism. Ukraine had its own soviet which was fighting for power over a German dominated puppet state so there was a semi civil war there and Belarus which is what i was referring to when I said white Russia was much more interlocked with Russia. Poland was an outright aggressor during the civil war and invaded soviet borders essentially. Lol Pilsudski was a virtual dictator who was not a socialist by a long shot, the intermarium was a wacky idea to spread western imperialist influence amongst Eastern Europe and increase poland's regional power.

Many Austrians even after wwii wanted to be part of Germany and before their annexation in 1938 a majority of Austrians wanted to be part of Germany. However the Nazis did greatly interfered with that vote.

@@infernity2526 There was pretty substantial pro Union propaganda deployed by NSDAP in Austria prior Referendum... however followed by strong voter intimidation and simple terror (especially against Austrian's Jewish communities) in the regions which weren't so keen to become a part of the Hitler's Great Germany...

I honestly think that Poland traded its potential land grab into a place of a European superpower. By liberating nations and creating new ones it basically made nations that are willing to make deals and negotiations with Poland as well as recognizing it as a superpower. Honestly it’s the smartest move.
I LOVE the highlights of units encircled, important cities taken and the like. I think that puts you above other timelapse creators. Amazing as always, thank you!

I wanna make a suggestion
Those arrow things that says “Encircled ,Captured ,or liberated”
What about putting colors in them one for each to know what it is better

Encircled - Red
Captured - Orange
Liberated - Yellow
Good idea! I wanna develop more "Arrowtypes" to also differentiate between the action. Such as capturing cities, encircling enemies, showing when offensives begin etc. It will take me a while though, the casualty lists stilld doesn't work as well as intended

@@stoferr Maybe instead of colors you could try little logos? Like encircled you could just use a circle, for captured use a jail cell or bars and for liberated you can use a flag or something maybe.

@@ijh4888 3 million Hungarians were left outside of their home country.Southern Slovakia could have easily stayed Hungarian,Northern Transylavnia too yet they gave them away.Should I explain further?

Actually there was Piłsudski's plan for preemptive strike on Germany in like early 1930s to prevent Germany from too big remilitariaing, but France and UK weren't keen on supporting that, so they ended up with ww2.
I'm kinda sad that Poland didn't regain their historical borders...

1:28 if Austria and Germany are in the same faction there can be a random event where Austria wants to Anschluss. This can happen both before and after Germany does the decision in the focus tree. And I'm pretty certain Austria's size is irrelevant. Austria could remake the Austro-Hungarian emprie and still be Anschlussed. Not sure of it gives cores or not.

Few things could be corrected to realise my wet dreams though:
-Poland oposes the Munich Treaty or Vienna Award (I know nobody ask them actually, but altrenative timeline is alternative timeline)
-Czechoslovakia liberated after defeating Germany
-Independence for Ukraine (with Lwów staying in Poland)
-Poland gets access to the Black Sea (maybe through that terrain that germans got in this vid, is it Moldovia?)

Can someone tell me how Poland got so strong? Is there a secret strat that I'm missing out on? I'm quite new and sometimes I have 5 full org infantry divisions losing against a single unit. Why?
He most likely boosted Poland from the settings there’s no way Poland can be this strong in 1939. And also check your division templates
