What should one do with a 16 year old child diagnosed. with autism as a child who's mother now realises was entitled to an EHCP? His life skills are severely lacking and he has been masking his condition by floating through school. He is now very anxious and seems to be having trouble anxious behaviours now. GP has become involved but his mother now would like him to be offered a life skills placement as his learning needs are very high.
