  • Deviled Eggs were a staple for my family while I was growing up. Whether my Mom or Grandmother's were making them, I was eating as many as they would let me. I love the pickle twang in that egg mixture.
    Deep Fried Deviled Eggs is a twist on a southern classic. This one of the most delicious recipes on meatchurch.com. Not only do we deep fry the eggs, but we also add pickled jalapeños and a touch of hot sauce. Don't worry, these do not come out "hot" or too spicy.
    Pro Tip: These do not store well as they get soggy. Not that there will be any leftover.

    Little tip… when pulling the eggs out of the oil, turn them cut side (hole side) down while they cool. Helps prevent any excess oil from getting caught inside

      Yeah that definitely sounds like the logical way to do it, I’m shocked at watching him do them it didn’t seem like much of any oil was in the center with doing the opposite.

    Omg so genius. I'm definitely making this for the next big family dinner. We also like to do a Mexican version with sour cream and salsa instead of mayo and mustard

      My daughter made Avocado Deviled Eggs for 4-H. Lime juice and hot sauce instead of the mayo and mustard, the avocados give the eggs the creamy texture. Immersion blender makes quick work when you’re cooking a big batch.

    Awesome that you are getting up more “side dish” recipes. Of course those fried deviled eggs could make a meal by itself. Make a heck of a sandwich with those too, crunch all around with toast

    I'm from the UK and for years when I've watched anyone cook in America most if the food looks so tasty I think they use alot more seasoning and flavourings than we do here these look tasty I heard Teyana Taylir made these so brought me here ro try make them can't wait.

    My wife and I made these today and the family loved them!! We followed your recipe with only a minor twist to the flour seasoning. We will definitely be making these for every get together!! I smoked 4 pork tenderloins using your Meat Church pellets and Vodoo seasoning…they were excellent also!

    Soooo gonna try this! I do a variation on Deviled Eggs where I mix Guac in with the egg yolks - I think they'd be a match made in Heaven!

    That is an absolute genius idea with deviled eggs. Hands down I bet that is the most delicious deviled egg ever. I cannot wait to try this. And I'm going to share this with everybody I know because that is absolutely delicious looking and you sir I give a big thumbs-up 24 deviled eggs because that crunch when you bit into it sounded just so wonderful and that's just amazing how people can think of stuff and make what's absolutely delicious even more delicious thank you for this video.

    Straight out of a Betty Croker cook book. Boil eggs for 2 full minutes, remove from heat and cover for 15 min. Gotta try this recipe

    Looks awesome. I was going to make deviled eggs for easter anyway so I may as well make these. I am adding bacon cheeseburgers egg rolls with home made 1000 island dressing on the side, along with lamb dolmades with tzatziki sauce and fried and flambéed Greek cheese saganaki. no main course just appetizers so we can eat when we want to and enjoy each other company.
    Great recipe to add to my collection.

    We ate at a restaurant over spring break just recently that had a deviled egg appetizer that were fried, and I told the waitress when she asked how they were, "I ain't made at it". I also thought I need make these. Now I have the perfect recipe to try! Nice timing!

    "Egg on egg action"...hilarious! I was thinking about the irony of the breading station, and whether or not you would be dipping hard boiled eggs in beaten eggs, and there it was. Not a deviled egg fan, but I can appreciate the twist. Happy Easter, Matt.

    Going to have to try this and see if my Father-in-law tries one (or has the chance to, lol). This is a good twist on a tasty classic - also our family did dry-rub smoked ribs and smoked ham in our smoker - the ribs were a new addition this year and will be staying, going to add something new every year to grow the table further or at least tweak some dishes.

    I made your recipe and it's very good . The Cajun in Me took over the second time and I put creole mustard in the yolk mixture and I used duck eggs . I added crumbled blue cheese and bacon bits with a dusting of sweet smoked paprika . Try that one

    I LOVE watching your videos! I've been cooking on my Traeger at least twice a week since I've started watching you! LOVE IT!! I've also ordered 4 different types of your rubs!     I love smoked deviled eggs. Just make them like you normally would, then smoke them for about 10 minutes, super easy.

    Yummm! I grew up in Boston, and we always used Hellmann's mayo, but since living in Indiana since 2011, things change, and I'm an official Duke's fan now! I love this, just subbed, and Deviled eggs have always been my favorite too around the holidays, and sometimes whenever! I could also eat the whole dozen if someone doesn't pry me away lol. Thanks, and Happy Easter! Edit: you mentioned pork panko, but I'm a fan of chicharrones, so I finely blend them to use as breading for a low carb meal. 😉

      I grew up in a Hellmann's house hold. I heard of Dukes long time ago, but wasn't sold in my area. Then one day I was grocery shopping and saw it on the shelf. I grabbed some and haven't gone back to Hellmann's since.
