I can't wait to see your #stuckathomephotographychallenge images in my Facebook Group: facebook.com/groups/ispphotographers/
who thought that you can create such nice abstracts with just an egg and a piece of paper ... nice
OMG... Joe, this is amazing what have you done with just an egg, not only post-processing but the shots as well. Can't wait to grab my camera and have some fun... The winner photo is a killer but the glowing hot pink and blue it's also awesome. Thanks for the video Joe!
Learning to see light is one of my favorite video by you brother. I know this week will be great..
I watched the video, how nice. You inspire me again, thank you.
Love b&w photos, my favourite is this with school paper
This is very inspiring :)
I had a virulent yellow compact fluorescent bulb in my goose neck lamp I'd pull out to create a mock golden hour but it's died.
I feel you missed a green eggs and hand pun...
Fantastic exercises. Thanks for taking the time to do this. You didn't happen to borrow the kernel of this idea from Ralph Hattersley, did you?
I don't know who that is
Oh you kids. He was a legendary photographer and teacher in the 50s through the 70s. He also wrote articles for PopPhoto. I’ll send you a link.
Joe, are we on the honor system or can we cheat a
little like you did here?
No need to cheat - there are no rules - Anthony Clark . Just don't do what I did - do something much better and have fun!
I only have a 35mm ... can I do that?
Absolutely Eric Jennings ! It's more about the challenge to learn and create that the actual gear. I will look forward to your results!
Anyone know what to do when your canon eos 1d mark ii, will only show the shooting modes menue on the LCD screen when in live mode only? Also, the screen doesnt light up when I go to select my focus.
Thanks for the video, a lot of fun! Does M4/3 effect ISO? I know about the 50 translates to 25 on 4/3, is there any translation for ISO?
My pleasure Chuck Schmidt ! ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed, Depth of Field, etc are all the same on M4/3 as they are on full frame. So is focal length to be clear - it is the field of view that is different and the comparison is 2X
@@theJoeEdelman I was thinking of the comparisons by sensor. I know the full frame vs APS-c, but also found the crop sensors take more f stop to get the same light as a full frame. Does that follow in a 4/3? If you stay on the same platform, np. I am playing with an old full frame and an APS-c camera. Would that setup differ with a 4/3 camera. Exposure, shutter, iso... Thanks for the great videos!
@@schmidt28117 I am sorry but APS-C does NOT require more light than full frame. That is complete mis-information. f5.6 is f5.6 on an M4/3 and APS-C and Full Frame. You are kidding yourself if you believe what you typed. Did you ever notice that handheld light meters don't have a setting for sensor size or film size? Only ISO - Shutter Speed and Aperture.
@@theJoeEdelman Thanks! still learning the differences between the sensor sizes. Overall the exposure triangle still rules. 8)
Northrups strike again lol
You missed a link, Joe -- for the egg video (it's mentioned in the video, but no links there or below): ua-cam.com/video/qM7CcUrUD2g/v-deo.html
An egg?
Okay.
