really enjoying the whole IR revival. In the beginning I was sceptical but now these videos are together with CK3 and EU4 content what I watch on this and other channels and I have on multiple occasions played around with getting back into it xD
Alas, so far I just hadn't had the time.
If only Rome Total wars map was this big, you'd spend the first several hours just trying to consolidate Rome

Order livestock and you could've made some farming settlements. (You know this game probably a lot better than me but I went on a search how I don't lose to much men with food problems because my first campaigns as Rome were horrendous because off that). Also I'm learning it with the invictus mod on normal difficulty. And those pesky Etuscans are the only ones in Italy that allways work on my nerves. I allmost allways go to war with them last).

If you don't play Judea before the 30th I will be immensely dissapointed. (Of course, this is just a request. Don't want you to feel pressured into doing anything.)
Or maybe just go for the Kingdom of David achievement, as you can get it if you switch to Jewish whilst playing a much easier start, like the Ptolemaics, Antigonids, or Seleukids.

I think I missed it. Why was Latium starving to death throughout much of the stream? Did he ever figure that out?
The Province of Latium only has two grain producing settlements, which are its only food producing settlements. The population of the province is also HUGE. Basically, you have to import exclusively grain for the beginning part of the game to the capital region just to keep them from starving.
@@gannonpatton2858additionally, it looked like he woke import the grain and then somebody would buy it off of him with the auto trade system. Also, he needs more graineries to stock up and survive the winter. That's my only gripe with trade in this game. Doesn't seem to take into account food.
@jordanfrancis8047 There is a setting for starting a new game where the food supply is steady/ consistent throughout the whole year regardless of the season. That may just be included in the Invictus Mod. However, why anyone would play without it is beyond me 😅

@@evangeloslul2421 Invictus will add a good bit of flavor, but the dlcs are recommended for unit sprites. Other than that, the dlcs aren't really that necessary.
@@ambreentariq1423 Idc about unit sprites. I just want to know whether I can play Greece without DLCs. Whether the DLCs add some important mechanics or a mission tree or smth.
@@evangeloslul2421 Yes they do. I'd recommend getting the bundle that is on sale right now, it'd save you a good bit of money and get you everything. Also, if you only want a specific set of dlcs, get heirs of Alexander and Magna Gracia( the Epirus dlc has content only specific to Epirus). The last dlc is a soundtrack dlc, which I reckon you're not that interested in.
Great content! If anyone's very interested into some solid Roman warfare content I recommend the lesser known Schwerpunkt. The channel makes a perfect integration with such videogames themes
