Definitely would give Paleo a shot then, or even just focusing on having enough protein and high quality fats in your meals. :)

Hey Tanya, loved all of these points especially the one about how satiated nutrient dense foods can be. People lose touch with what hunger actually means when they overeat processed foods and it's so important to be able to break this cycle. Thanks for the content!
Great point! Paleo/a real, whole food diet, is such a great reset , allowing you to get back in touch with your natural hunger cues.

@@tanyaannn Yeah, I never went full Paleo, but cutting out the majority of processed foods and drinking more water helped clear it up super fast!

Hey Tanya, great video! I've never done full paleo in the past, and my biggest hurdle is that I don't want to eat so much fat and protein, and not knowing how to handle the carb cravings during the week. I'd love your perspective on how you help your clients with this.
Hi Julia! Consuming high quality protein and fat usually helps with satiation and blood sugar relation which in turns can really help with carb cravings. Carb wise, I would incorporate sweet root vegetables and fruit and hopefully that will add enough sweetness in your diet to curb any cravings. Let me know if you have more questions. :)
This is really informative! I eat AIP paleo. I find it restrictive when I’m trying to be social!!!!

I'm really interested in trying this type of diet. The only thing I'm worried about is the meat you buy at the grocery store is not optimal if you really want to eat paleo. The animals get to eat crap usually, maybe receive medicine and have a shitty, stressful life mostly. This also being the reason why I'm a vegetarian. I wouldn't mind eating meat though if it came only from wild animals that were killed by hunters. But that seems to be quite hard to find :)

Eggs are considered part of the paleo diet, but not cows milk.
I have such a strange system where my stomach will growl AFTER I eat?!! haha It's like I get hungrier once I eat. So strange.
