Why does there have to be added fragrance in the Hydro Boost ugh. I almost bought that the other day until I read the ingredients and saw fragrance. I don’t enjoy scented skin scare. I wish companies would omit them entirely!
Hi Jennifer, I hope you contact Neutrogena to express your concerns. If more people complain, then, hopefully, they will make a change. Neutrogena does make some fragrance free products, which is a good, but not all are fragrance free. : )
I agree! My skin is super sensitive so I have to be careful what I put on it and fragrance is a no no for me. It isn't beneficial so I really don't understand why companies still put it in cosmetics and skincare. It's very frustrating when something looks good until you find fragrance in the ingredients!
I'm going to be the oddball in this thread because I felt like it was one of the nicest scented sunscreens as they usually have a strong metallic scent lol. It's sheer and leaves you glowy so that has to count for something! lol
Hi the hada labo one is not just a sunscreen on its own. On the packaging in Japanese, it is actually marketed as a toner, serum and moisturiser with sunscreen. It’s for people who wants to save time in the morning. Therefore, it has to be moisturising when you apply it. Thanks for the recommendation Dr Dray ☺️✨
I absolutely love the Neutrogena water gel sunscreen it doesn't even feel like a sunscreen or smell like a sunscreen or look like a sunscreen it is so nice on the skin!!!
The one thing about Hadalabo's UV Perfect Moisturizing Sun Gel is that it was meant to be an all-in-one product which combines the functions of toner, essence, emulsion, cream, sunblock and makeup base into one product. This seems to be common to some Japanese brands which love to combine all these functions so as to cater to a consumer market which hates the hassle of going through so many skincare steps.
The Nivea Super Water Gel is also great and fragrance free. It's only PA+++, instead of PA++++, but it is the best texture I have ever used and is going to feel better for people with oily skin. It's not as emollient.
Oh man, Hada Labo is really bringing their A game with their cleansers, skincare, and SPF! Looking forward to ordering their products in the very near future!
I have to agree. I wear a bb cream or some sort of light coverage most days and it works so well under makeup. I'm a darker skin black woman and this is the first out of about a half dozen sunscreens that I've tried that doesn't look pasty or chalky. I really like it!
I also love the fact that you get so much product for so little I’ve been trying to find a sunscreen that give a good amount of product since I use so much sunscreen every day
The hydro boost is the only sunscreen I can use on my face without it leaving a white cast. I tried so many low and high end american sunscreens and they all either balled up, left my skin dry and/or made me look ghostly. Also the fragrance is tolerable but I'd prefer to not having perfume on my face.
Hada Labo is killing it as a brand. I love everything I've tried from them. Their Premium Hyaluronic Acid has helped save my skin. Now I'm going to have to try this sunscreen. I've been using the Shiseido Senka sunscreen but I like that the Hada Labo is a blend of chemical and mineral. Great review!
I must have that hada labo sunscreen! These Asian sunscreens can be so affordable but once shipping is took into account it can be so much more expensive! Great content as always
Wow definitely going to buy the Hada Labo UV white gel. I mean, bothUVB and UVA protection, blends fantastically without a cast, is moisturizing and in a gel base, FRAGRANCE FREE, what's not to LOVE? It literally is the solution to every single sunscreen issue that exists
Biore has three essential oil extracts - orange peel, lemon peel and grapefruit peel on top of its high alcohol content. I live in Japan and their sunscreens dried my face out unfortunately. So I switched to Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch and can"t complain (got used to its smell also).
We are so lucky to have you on you tube. As a fellow doctor I could not appreciate your expertise and advise more. Thank you so much for your hard work on this channel!!
Oh how I wish I can use chemical sunscreen. I was able to use them at first and I developed a really bad irritation. Thank you for all your physical sunscreen recommendation it has helped me out a lot in my transition.
I have combination skin (more on the oily side with small dry patches) so I guess Biore is the way to go for me 👍🏼 I’m okay with fragrance as long as it doesn’t affect the result of the product and it isn’t too strong
I have been staying away from anything with fragrance but I honestly don’t think the hydro boost fragrance is really that strong. I thought it was actually pretty lite to be honest.
Janice Anyanwu the point isn’t whether someone “likes” the fragrance, the point is that fragrance is sensitizing over time and you could develop an allergy. Even if you aren’t sensitive to fragrance, the immune system can eventually react to it with constant use.
I’ve never worn sunscreen in my life until finding your videos last year. Now I’ve been working on finding ones that I actually like. Ordered the hada Labo one from amazon after this video and vanicream because it’s been on my list to try from your suggestion . Thanks for making literally life changing videos!
Love seeing a derm talk about superior Japanese sunscreens! Over American ones. Shows a doctor who keeps learning and really recommend the best not just what’s American or trendy. Glad to have found your channel! Loyal subscriber
The White Gel isn't a repackage. It's always existed! The version you are talking about is the Perfect Gel and it's in a white bottle now, but it's being sold exclusively through a new distributor and hasn't found it's way back to the US via Amazon. The White Gel is marketed as a universal product, moisturizer, sunscreen, makeup base, etc. and contains a type of vitamin c for added protection, so it gets the description "White".
You’ve got me totally obsessed with reading sunscreen labels! I’m running around to all my friends demanding they know the differences in physical vs chemical sunscreens! Loving the Elta and tinted!
Love, love, love to hear your recommendations! I ordered the Hada labo UV white gel before this video had even ended. Thank you so much for this video! :) xoxo
Dr Dray is extremely informative and also through. She just giving you another option to think about . Seriously... ruined your day... then don’t watch the videos .
Congratulations Dr. Andrea for surpassing 100K! Can’t wait to see your award when you receive it. Thank you for the informative video! Scoopydoodle, love it!
My issue with the Neutrogena product isn't so much the fragrance as the texture. I'm left feeling greasy rather than moisturized. I'm always very conscious when it's on my face.
I have been avoiding fragrances for a while because I get headaches when I smell them, specially the really strong ones. Learning from you to avoid them because of possible contact dermatitis and other issues has reaffirmed my decision.
I have been using the neutrogena sheer zinc spf 30 and love it. Reapplies well and according to you zinc is very helpful. I have been using the cerave one too
I live in Mexico and yes all those filters are approved and available, the sunscreen I use is fantastic for my skin (quite oily and acne prone) "Eucerin Sun Fluid Sensitive" it contains tinosorb s (bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine) and titanium dioxide, hopefully the US will approve them eventually or if you are on vacation pick some at the drugstore :)
Hello Charly, what sunscreen are you currently using? I’m currently in Mexico because of Corona and can’t get any Asian sunscreen. What can you recommend?
@@SwanTheQueen If you have oily skin, I use Bioderma's dry touch in the "golden"("dorado" in spanish) shade, I am Fitzpatrick 3, I have used the "light" shade but it does not dry as matte as the Golden for whatever reason and I like the the golden shade much better, but I would recommend browsing San Pablo's online web page for sunscreen so you can review or find something more suited for your own skin needs.
Great video! I agree that the Neutrogena Hydroboost sunscreen has a strong fragrance. I stop using it on my face because of the fragrance and it made my eyes water👎🏼. I have made it my body sunscreen, just so I can use it up. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Ya it makes me so greasy and my eyes water too smh. I'm just gonna try to use it up so as not to waste, and then literally RUN and buy hada labo as soon as I finish it lol. Another really good similar option that Dr Dray once mentioned in her videos was the 'Nivea sun protect super water gel SPF 50/PA+++' and it seems AMAZING. Its also a gel just like the hada labo, but its more lightweight. I'm going to get that one too 👍🏻
I use the Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunscreen and even though there is fragrance I checked the list and it is at the bottom of the list. I know fragrance is still bad, but at least it is not high up on the list. I do enjoy the formula because it applies and blends in very nicely. So I am thankful for those things. This dry touch formula is especially helpful in the summer when you are sweating because it gives a matte type finish so you do not have to worry about being extra oily. 😊
Thanks for going over this and im happily suprised you like one of the hada labo products. I've heard some good stuff about their products and had no idea how many innovative sunscreens are in it. I honestly wonder about why the fda is so strict about many things that most every other first world nation allows, mabey its just bureaucracy... Thank you for the informative review!
First off, congrats on 100k! 🎉 I've only been wearing sunscreen daily since I've been following you, about 3 months. I feel proud of myself for making that change but wish I had started sooner. Lately I've been using the NG Hydroboost 50 and I really like it. The fragrance doesn't bother me and it works really well on my skin with/under makeup. It makes my skin glowy and feels very sheer. Other sunscreens I've tried either don't blend right with makeup or it feels like I'm wearing 10 layers of product. However, for $15 I will try switching to the Hada Labo when I'm through this tube. Thanks for this video, and for the sunscreen gospel in general, I always learn so much from you! 😀💜🌸
Just got the Hado Labo UV White Gel (in the jar) that Dr. Dray spoke about in this video and it’s amaaaaazing! Took a while to get it from Japan but it was kind of fun to get a package through JapanPost. Felt like getting a letter from a pen pal. :) Hope you enjoy it as well.
I just got this. Tried it for abkoy a week. Eyes watering and stinging all day no matter how careful I was to keep it away from my eyes. Everyone commented nonstop and I had to leave a meeting. That always happens with chemical sunscreens. Mineral is the only way to go and just have to spend loads of time trying to apply it such that you aren’t all streaky and chalky. Chemical sunscreens are a waste of time and not worth the trouble
sᴀɪᴇ I‘m from Germany, we have it on Amazon here. That’s what the package looks like: www.amazon.de/Rohto-Hadalabo-Gokujun-White-Gel/dp/B00IDYK4S8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1525377597&sr=8-3&keywords=Hadalabo+uv Looks like it ships from Japan though...3 weeks *sighs*
The Neutrogena hydro boost sunscreen caused some serious burning to my eyes. I applied it AROUND my eyes (not even on my lids) and as I was rubbing my eyes one day, I started to feel my eyes burn and it started watering up like crazy and a few minutes later it got so bad I was crying. Thought it was just me and chucked it out afterwards. One day, I came across my colleague who was tearing up at work and asked her what was wrong. She said her eyes are burning and it might be her sunscreen. I asked her which one and to no surprise it was the Neutrogena one. This was from 2020/2021... Hopefully the formulation will improve later. Now, I'm about to order the biore aqua ricch watery essence and hopefully it'll be nice!
I wish I didn’t buy this kind without reading the ingredients but it was on clearance . I am gonna use it as long as it don’t bother me since I paid for it.
I just saw on Amazon Biore UV Carefree Kids Milk Spf 50/PA++++. It has almost the same ingredients as Hada Labo UV gel - octinoxate, tinosorb S, uvinul A plus and Uvinul T 150. It is fragrance free and alcohol free and good for kids/sensitive skin. Just like Hada Labo jar it is also 90 grams but comes in a tube and costs much less ($12). Looks like a good one.
Shisiedo Annessa mild sunscreen has zinc Oxide and Tinasorb and no alcohol or fragrance. Goes on with minimal white cast and is moisturising and mattifying thanks to silicones. It also has their wet force technology which makes it more effective when you sweat! I live in hot and humid Singapore and after a lot of trying this is now my go to.
yeah that one goes on similar to skin aqua super moisture milk and biore uv perfect milk....an American "dupe" is the neutrogena pure and free liquid sunscreen spf 50
I love it when you start talking about sunscreenfilters with such passion! I live in the EU so i use la Roche posay Anthelios XL with mexoryl filter and tinosorb s and i love it just because it’s a fluid. Then it won’t feel heavy when i pile it on and reapply! Love always //Daniel (Sweden)
If only Biore doesn't contain alcohol, fragrance, octinoxate and many unnecessary ingredients, it will definitely become the best sunscreen in the world. It has a really nice texture and gives a good glow to the skin without making my face oily. But the second day i used it, it made me breakout because my sensitive skin couldn't tolerate all those irritating ingredients.
Hi Dr Dray . I have rosacea and I am trying the Hydro Boost suncreen and so far I like it. I have used the Ceravid tinted sunscreen which I love, thanks to your recommendations. I just recently had a flush, so that is why I am trying the Hydro Boost , it feels very light and good to my sensitive skin. Thank you for the videos. Saludos desde North Houston.
I'm usually very sensitive to fragrance in American products. However, I seem to be okay with fragrance in Asian products. Not sure why. I actually love the Biore one.
Hi Dr. Dray! Hope you are having a good day... I also had a really bad experience with Neutrogena hydroboost spf 30.. It stinged my eyes so badly, that they were red and swollen by the end of the day.. I agree with you about the fragrance (awful). Luckily, I returned it to the store. Then, I switched to Aveeno protect and hydrate spf 30. Though it has a bit of fragrance, it isn't as strong as the neutrogena one. Happy with that purchase! Thanks for educating about the importance of sunscreens!
Last year my skin was going through a really rough phase with lots of acne. Upon consultation with the physician, he prescribed me benzaclin and he suggested me to use spectro face wash (unscented). But, I was not quite aware upon the sunscreen reapplication back then ( as it was winter, i thought that it wasn't required). And then, I realized about my mistake when I had peeling and the skin was so red (it appeared as if someone had punched me hard in the face). I went back to the physician and then he asked to apply finacea to the affected area. It seems to be working. And, your videos really helped me in taking care of the skin, and obviously about the adequate measures required in sun protection.I can feel the difference now. Thanks again!
I'd just like to correct you on the issue of avobenzone's photostability in today's US sunscreens. Yes, avobenzone degrades very fast with the absence of photostablizers. However, the vast majority of US sunscreens on the market today containing avobenzone are photostablized with octocrylene and other ingredients that significantly enhance the photostability of avobenzone. Make sure that your US sunscreen has octocrylene, alongside avobenzone, to ensure that it's photostable. With Neutrogena, look for the word "Helioplex" on the label to ensure that it's photostable. Therefore, the issue of avobenzone's photostability is no longer a concern as it once was.
helioplex is actually avobenzone with oxybenzone, not octocrylene, and it still degrades and is not perfectly photostabile, nor are any of the avobenzone "stabilized" formulations, and reapplications is critical FOR ALL SUNSCREENS
I just recieved the Biore watery essence spf50 ++++ today & I'm sooo excited first thing I did was smell it! Lol my nose must not be working because I didn't smell NO alcohol 🤔 wondering what everyone else is taking about in regards to the smell. It barely smells like anything👍 I recieved the 2019 version.
Great comparison. I was just eyeing the Neutrogena version as an in-store version of my favorite biore. I find that the biore runs out very quickly. Going to give the Hadid labo a try. And congrats on reaching 100,000 subs. Well deserved!
Thank you Dr Dray for another helpful sunscreen review! I believe this Hada Labo UV white gel would be good under makeup since it's in a gel form. It's also good for those who dislike heavy, thick sunscreen and people who live in extremely humid weather like myself. Most importantly, it has no fragrance!!! 👍❤🌞
I live for your videos 😊 Would you ever consider doing a video about your experiences (both good and bad) in medical school? I’d love to hear your story.
Enjoyed:) Love sunscreen education and reviews!! Yay!! Thank you!! I am totally obsessed with sunscreen!! Love putting it on and reapplying!! Happy Thursday;)
Just bought the SPF 50 a few days ago. Not sure I like it, just for the smell factor, and the texture is strange. It also has a weird blue tint. I don't think I'd buy I'd buy it again.
I got the hydroboost based on a friends recommendation...for some reason the Neutrogena one would cause my eyes to burn and the tops of my cheeks to burn Shortly after wearing it. I noticed the redness wouldn't go away till a day or two if I stop using it.
Well l won't be trying that Neutrogena sunscreen, thanks for saving me some money😊 Overall , I use the Coppertone Sensitive Skin SPF/UVB 50, for my face and the Coppertone Sensitive Skin lotion SPF/FPS 50 for my body. Yes , it does leave a white cast and l do wear makeup, so what l do is apply the sunscreen to my face as soon as I wash my face in the morning and give it a chance to soak in, after that I put on my primer in my CC cream and I'm good to go 😎
Loved your comparisons of those 2 sunscreens! Yes I'm an educated consumer re suncreens and no fragrance lol Thanks to you!! Learning so much!! Thanks for everything, your amazing! Xoxo🤗 Yay just ordered hada labo sunscreen, and I'm loving the Nivea water gel suncreen from Japan its fabulous for me, thanks to you...again🤗😏🤗
This was so timely. Just as we are getting ready to embrace summer. I couldn’t find hadalabo on amazon before and just got it in the middle of your video . NG will now be used on body. Did u ever review “kiss your face “ brand , those orange bottles available in my neighborhood ? Btw you make sunscreen look sexy ! I put it on with so much love now and so does my 13 yo daughter . I’m proud of her ( thanks to you ) when she says “ mom My skin feels irritated today , can I just use a physical only sunscreen today please ?”
I like the texture feeling of Neutrogena Hydrobost on my skin, but it contains oxybenzone, which is easily absorbed into our body through our skin due to its small size molecule. Plus oxybenzone also interferes with our endocrine system, which really turns me off.
Today I’m using Australian Gold tinted mineral sunscreen under my make up and Itd awesome so far! Just an FYI I see people asking about make up friendly sunscreen:)
I got the nivea water gel sunscreen after you recommended it one time and I'm now on my second bottle, I love it. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate me at all. It goes on clear and blends super well and is spf 50 which is a must for me.
Finally giving in and doing a hadalabo skincare haul!!! Thanks so much for your recommendations. It’s so awesome that you’re educating everyone, can’t wait for your next video!! :)
Would you recommend the Elta MD clear sunscreen over the hada labo sunscreen for daily use on the face for acne-prone skin?? I have post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation so I was intrigued by the tinted elta MD but love the filters in hada labo.
Dr. Dray!!! My little package from Japan just arrived and inside was the Hado Labo UV White Gel! What a well-rounded, lovely product. I can’t thank you enough for the recommendation! Also, your recommendation for Zapzyt has changed my skin tremendously! I have occasional breakouts and using this product consistently has kept me free and clear for nearly three weeks straight with no irritation or even dryness. You and your videos are so informative and you provide insight that is so refreshing and unique to the UA-cam platform! Thank you for all you do. 💗 Hope you have an awesome weekend.

A trick: you can watch movies on Kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using them for watching all kinds of movies recently.

10:07 - review of Hada labo sunscreen
Love the BIORE Sunscreen. Extremely comfortable on the skin.
Ever Abby. H Is it still effective despite being put into a moisturiser?
P Yes, as long as you use enough and spread it wel over your skin. The spf is always tested with the same amount nonetheless the kind of product.
Holy smokes, that’s great news!

Me too!!
same! the smell was also heinous
that is a good way to use it up
Ya it makes me so greasy and my eyes water too smh.
Is it good for dry skin?
i agree the fragrance is absolutely awful on the neutrogena product!
Great video, I'm super sensitive to fragrances/smells... I can't wear smelly products... So glad you explained the scents of the products.. Love you!!
Thanks!
Mind reader! I was at the store the other day wondering about this product- AND I just ordered the Hada Labo gel in the jar.
:)
:)
Alex Leatherman - i have been wondering the same. Any thoughts Dr. Dray?
I sincerely appreciate your candid review.
Just ordered Hada Labo UV white gel! So excited to try it out! Thanks for this review! 🤙🏻❤️
Thanks!
LA Fresh Life does it leave a white cast ?
Clorox Bleach No it really doesn't!
Brooke Sosa Thinking about getting this sunscreen. How do you like it?
came here for the tea on the biore, but looks like i'm gonna be checking out hada labo instead. 😅
Which one did you use?
Congratulations on 100k subscribers!! (:
Thanks!
The hadalabo also comes in a refill package...which (at least here) costs about a 1/3 less than the tub...for almost the same amount!
Good to know! Thanks!
Where do you find the refill package? I can't find it on amazon
sᴀɪᴇ
I‘m from Germany, we have it on Amazon here. That’s what the package looks like:
www.amazon.de/Rohto-Hadalabo-Gokujun-White-Gel/dp/B00IDYK4S8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1525377597&sr=8-3&keywords=Hadalabo+uv
Looks like it ships from Japan though...3 weeks *sighs*
Thank you so much! I managed to find it on the US Amazon but the tub is actually cheaper in the US compare to the refill.
Hey--I'm having a hard time finding the tub on amazon--Help??
"Say that at a party, You'll make alot of friends" bawaaaaaaa 😂
:)
"Scoopy-doodle." Cutest thing I've heard this week! Stealing that. I'm gonna add "doodle" to every day words to improve their cute factor
:)
Dr Gray can you do review on Heliocare Sunscreen?
Buying the habo labo, I've spent too much money on sunscreens that didn't work out, so I'm willing to spend 15$, personally.
Brains and beauty - you are blessed and you are a blessing to all of us! Thank you for another very informative video Dr Dray. 🌸🍄🦋
Thanks!
:)
Thank you! Neutrogena is going back to the store. Not worth putting up with the awful smell if the filter is not that stable...
:)
Thanks!
I love the hado labo sunscreen! It’s so moisturizing! Definitely my favorite to put on in the morning.
it is a good one
The biore one is sooooo goood ♥️ big fan
If only Biore doesn't contain alcohol, fragrance, octinoxate and many unnecessary ingredients, it will definitely become the best sunscreen in the world. It has a really nice texture and gives a good glow to the skin without making my face oily. But the second day i used it, it made me breakout because my sensitive skin couldn't tolerate all those irritating ingredients.
Omg my face was burning with the neutrogena hydroboost sunscreen
Good to know. I wish Neutrogena wouldn't add fragrance to some of their products.
fragrance of the neutrogenea one is awful
Hi Dr Dray . I have rosacea and I am trying the Hydro Boost suncreen and so far I like it. I have used the Ceravid tinted sunscreen which I love, thanks to your recommendations.
I just recently had a flush, so that is why I am trying the Hydro Boost , it feels very light and good to my sensitive skin. Thank you for the videos. Saludos desde North Houston.
I learned a lot from this video and shared it with my sister. I’ve been careful to wear sunscreen since watching you. A big thanks! ❤️
I'm usually very sensitive to fragrance in American products. However, I seem to be okay with fragrance in Asian products. Not sure why. I actually love the Biore one.
Thank you for listing everything from what you use and recommend to all the videos and their subjects. Its a really big help.
Thanks!
Hi Dr. Thanks for educating about the importance of sunscreens!
the fragrance is the worst
Thanks again!
i just wish there was a fragrance free version of the biore sunscreen ):
WOOHOOO 100K!!!! Well deserved Andrea!! Still my favourite UA-camr.:)
Thanks Ms Jennifer!
will try to buy thishada labo now!! thanks for the review
Absolutely the best educational sunscreen video!! A million thanks!
Thanks!
Thank you! Nivea is my favorite, but I am going to give the Hado Labo a try.
:)
I just bought this sunscreen. Thank you for review Dr. Dray!
Thanks for the review that is so helpful. My husband has allergic contact dermititis and it is our mission to control it and NO fragrances here.
:)
Please can you give me a review of the sunscreen ? I'm considering buying it
I learned a lot from you now My choice of products are those who reviewed on your videos thank you very much ❤️❤️❤️
Great comparison. I was just eyeing the Neutrogena version as an in-store version of my favorite biore. I find that the biore runs out very quickly. Going to give the Hadid labo a try. And congrats on reaching 100,000 subs. Well deserved!
Thanks!
:)
Happy Thursday;)
it is a good obsession, lol! Happy thursday Ms Susan
Just bought the SPF 50 a few days ago. Not sure I like it, just for the smell factor, and the texture is strange. It also has a weird blue tint. I don't think I'd buy I'd buy it again.
the smell is awful
I agree! It's going to be a challenge to use it up!
I put the HL UV White Gel in a 20ml syringe. It allows me to measure out 5mL per application
I got the hydroboost based on a friends recommendation...for some reason the Neutrogena one would cause my eyes to burn and the tops of my cheeks to burn Shortly after wearing it. I noticed the redness wouldn't go away till a day or two if I stop using it.
Well l won't be trying that Neutrogena sunscreen, thanks for saving me some money😊
Overall , I use the Coppertone Sensitive Skin SPF/UVB 50, for my face and the Coppertone Sensitive Skin lotion SPF/FPS 50 for my body.
Yes , it does leave a white cast and l do wear makeup, so what l do is apply the sunscreen to my face as soon as I wash my face in the morning and give it a chance to soak in, after that I put on my primer in my CC cream and I'm good to go 😎
:)
The nivea water gel is a great one! Hope you like the hada labo one Ms Laura :)
Dr Dray ..... I'm sure I'll love it especially if you recommend it! Have a great day!!😙
This was so timely.
Thanks and Thank you for teaching the 13 year old to love spf
I like the texture feeling of Neutrogena Hydrobost on my skin, but it contains oxybenzone, which is easily absorbed into our body through our skin due to its small size molecule. Plus oxybenzone also interferes with our endocrine system, which really turns me off.
Today I’m using Australian Gold tinted mineral sunscreen under my make up and Itd awesome so far! Just an FYI I see people asking about make up friendly sunscreen:)
i reviewed that last year
I got the nivea water gel sunscreen after you recommended it one time and I'm now on my second bottle, I love it. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate me at all. It goes on clear and blends super well and is spf 50 which is a must for me.
Julianne Rogers I love that sunscreen and use it myself but the only issue I have with it, is that it leaves a very shiny film on my face.
Nathaniel Ortiz Haha, same here. It also leaks into my eyes (like so many others). I like to use it on my neck and ears and it’s great for that.
Dave A I agree with that, it's perfect for the neck.
does nivea gel sunscreen leave white cast on face?
Finally giving in and doing a hadalabo skincare haul!!! Thanks so much for your recommendations. It’s so awesome that you’re educating everyone, can’t wait for your next video!! :)
Hada labo does not dissapoint...have yet to have a failed hada labo product
Would you recommend the Elta MD clear sunscreen over the hada labo sunscreen for daily use on the face for acne-prone skin?? I have post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation so I was intrigued by the tinted elta MD but love the filters in hada labo.
I love my Skinsceuticals for face ❤️I have the mattifying one and the the tinted liquid one.
Great review. I am going to try the habolobo. I do love the Biore for its ease of use with my makeup.
Thanks!
Dr.
I love getting mail from Japan!
