I’m full time on diggers for 25 odd years now, Rev her up a bit and try and relax into it. Don’t be afraid of it, we all had to start somewhere and practice is all you need and don’t scratch the back of it or you’ll never live it down 😂
When you turning corners, I find it helps to push bucket down on ground to lift front of tracks of ground about a foot ish... saves both tracks on digger and cutting up ground
Firece handy yoke to rent if you map out enough work for one.. I had a power of jobs to do so I rented one, got the hang of it fairly quickly and come a week later I nearly shed a tear when it went back on the low loader.. Id nearly rent one once a year and pretend ive a load of work to do with it...
Good man Declan, takes a wee while to get comfortable with a 360 if you haven't used one before. I bet you were flying it after a few days digging. Bit more trottle and your laughing. So how far on is the new crush and pins? 🤔
Rev her up, the levers are more sensitive when the pumps are open and do the field jobs first to get used to it. I cringed a little bit when I saw the wall going , the things that wall has seen :) bit of cement and make piers or just concrete the stones together to tie the ends of the wall in or eventually over time the wall will fall apart altogether. Practise makes perfect bit of a tip for the pen too. Don't be afraid to use a shovel to tidy up the holes and square them up or you'll end using a lorry load of cement in a few posts. Looking forward to the rest. Don't go to mad
@@IDoAgri it is cheap alright but a good man on a digger will get through a mountain of work in a day. Hope to see a few more digger videos. You've been quiet for the last few days.
@@cillianh5841ye and you'd do the job you'd be 2 days at it he'd get in done in 4 hours and a far better job a man shouldn't be hiring a digger of he doesn't know the controls takes years to master it wont do a great job if you hired it for 2 days and don't now how to drive it🤣
It was better price than a mini digger and there is much more work that I haven't shown yet, you can also work alot quicker (move alot more clay and stones ) with a big machine than messing with a small yoke

Cheers for that sound Advice Noel, what sort of machines have you been driving in that time? No scratches to report 😂👌

Good man Dec keep at her you ll have it in no time can't wait to see the finished job 👍
Very kind message Francis, appreciate that! She will be lot handier when its finished 👌
Who every trying to operate the digger would want learn how shovel first

Good 👍 video keep them coming stay safe 👍👍🏴🏴🇬🇧🇬🇧👌👌
The trailer that dropped digger off would be good for silage bales
She would be alright, you'd fit 14-16 bales on it would ya?
Low loaders are pointless for bales because there to low to the ground and if you get stuck in a field it just sits on the bacause its so low
It’s like watching a good tv program, I want to tune in for the next episode now.. how much was the digger to hire?
Are ya putting up a pen around the crush or what's the plan.
Yes that's is one of the jobs i will explain it in detail in another video
Great video lad
Thanks Me Me
How's the digger driver getting.on tonight?
This will be some handling hai, naw only joking id say this will be a serious video.
Haha that's up to you to decide, cheers Zach
How much was the digger to hire
Is that the same lad I farm we farm got
No he's hiring it and that's a 130-5 no -6
Nope different fella
Rathcabbin to Cavan be some drive
How much to hire a digger like that out for the day? Presumably cheaper than a man coming with it
roughly a hundred quid a day. great price much cheaper than getting a lad out and much cheaper than many mini diggers i was quoted for

Ya be dig in out atm machines next
good stuff bud..whatcha diggin fer?
Gold!!
Place getting tied up for wedding ?something your not telling us mate ha ha ha
There's no wedding 😂 but there are a few surprises to come...
It’s false economy hiring a digger unless u are good operator it’s much cheaper to get in the real boys
The only way to go
100 a day compared to 50 an hour for a man I know what I'd be doing

Y would u hire a 13 ton digger to do jobs a 5 ton digger could do
