    There’s a good bit of work doing that axle Robert looks young but he’s a skilled mechanic by the looks of him and you are very lucky to have him in your area because lads like him are gone scarce

    Have really enjoyed the two videos with Robert working at the 3075 he's a fair hand with the spanners I think he must have been listening to Father Phil for a few years getting the knowledge 😀thank him for doing the videos and tell him we would like to see him in more of yours Phil or he could start his own you tube channel Could be Called mechanical Rob😀👍well done lads

    Good video with Robert I noticed that you didn't preload the pinion bearings and the backlash should have been set with a clock gauge failing that it should have been checked with engineers blue for correct mesh all in all a good video

    Not simple setting up the crown wheel and pinon tolerances! The height of the pinon and contact patch on the crown wheel when rotated is the important one ! The brass bush in the cradle when fitted is tighter than when measured in your hand and maybe a thou to much on the diff housing! But she'll loosen!

      That’s it you really need to paint the teeth and check the contact area setting a diff up properly can take hours then there’s the pre load on the pinion bearings you’d say they were too tight but feel when done as the book says but that’s how they have to be

    Phil , Don't know how you kept up with the amount of machinery you have ....Having Robert frees up time for other things thats for sure ... Father would rather tinker with the old stuff anyway .

      The go pros don't pick up light well so it seems worse than it is.
