26:55 I have many Kashmiri Pandit friends, and every one of them liked the film. In fact, they mentioned that the film only portrayed a fraction of what they experienced. Additionally, you can find numerous videos of Kashmiri Pandits crying expressing their pain after watching Kashmir Files. This guy is making no sense.

And for Mr. Sahai's kind information, I have two Kashmiri Hindu friends, one of them is my girlfriend. She told me these horrific stories 4-5 years ago. I knew all such things , neighbour betrayal, nail heading teacher, r@pes, walking hundreds of kms on snow. But I never believed strongly because I thought she might be exaggerating. And then I heard same from my other kashmiri friend and then in movie made me realise their pain.

I understand that you have personal connections with Kashmiri Hindus and have heard distressing stories from them. It is unfortunate that they have experienced such horrific incidents, including acts of betrayal, violence, and displacement. It is essential to listen to and validate the experiences of those who have been affected by such tragedies.
However, it is crucial to approach discussions on sensitive topics with empathy and respect for differing viewpoints. Rather than aiming to make someone feel ashamed, it is more productive to foster understanding and encourage open dialogue.

Whereas after seeing the movie one comes out with a revulsion or deep distrust and dislike or should I use the word ‘hatred’ to the JNU leftist gang who are the main perpetrators or villains of the movie. But hats off to the IPS officer to brilliantly deflect or manage the narrative of what he wanted to convey ….. you don’t become aIPS officer if these basic skills are not there

He is retired now and I was intrigued, so I asked him what is his opinion on Kashmir as a state since we will never know the actual truth if we were not born there. He specifically mentioned that we can never fix the issue in that region. The only possible solution is a very radical one and we will need to eliminate the entire Kashmiri separatist community. Basically, become Hitler and run a genocide campaign against them. When I asked why does he think so? He said the population have been brainwashed and hated India for decades there is no coming back from that. They will never accept India as their country and even kids propagate the same hate. Very sad to hear the IPS officer..... being a Kashmiri Pandit we know the reality .... first hand from our relatives who faced the brunt ....not as an observer who has to depend on others to know what is being blared from loudspeakers. .. ...
His bias is clear from his description of role of Jagmohan... no mention of complete abdication of responsibility by the state and central governments.
Surely Kashmiri Muslims also were killed by terrorists.... we all feel sad for them. But they weren’t asked to leave the valley....Kashmiri Pandits were warned through announcements ....either convert or leave .... leaving behind your women..... Posters were put with names of people who were on hit list andcwere given 24 hours to leave....
Clearly he can't appreciate what it means to be uprooted from your home and city where you have lived for generations....
Please talk to some people who actually were forced to run from Srinagar .....what they actually faced....
Please remember Ranveer, what you can get from anybody is his version of Truth... the real Truth .... just doesn't exist.... It is now called as Rashomoon effect ...after the classis Kurosawa film of same name.
So whan he says Kashmir files vilified Kashmiri Muslims , it is his version of the Truth....not "the Truth" as you were saying in the interview. If you talk to others they will say it doesn't do that....it just tells truthfully what actually happened.
Why didn't you ask him : is any if the incidents shown in film not true? Of course it had to be dramatized... Raw truth..like the incident he mentioned...will it be digestible to show this as it actually happened on a screen where women are in audience ?

The point which is worrying is Sahai came to the show with a set narrative which was very evident throughout the show. But sadly even Ranveer agreed with that narrative and never tried to counter him with facts. Kashmir Files is based on facts and what the Pundits went through during the exodus. Majority of Pundits supported the movie. And then this man comes and says all mischievous things without facts. Ranveer should also start asking tough questions and counter his guests with facts if his guests come with a negative narrative. Dissapointing podcast

Being a citizen of jammu and kashmir let me tell ya'll that half of what he said was totally bullshit. The kashmiri pandit community liked and supported the kahsmir files with all their heart. The theaters tried to stop people from watching the film due to obvious pressure from the local Muslim community but the kashmiri pandits took it to the streets and fought their way through all this bullshit just so that all of us could watch the reality of what really happened. Afcourse you can't paint everyone black or white, there are good people among isis terror groups as well but the 10% of a community doesn't matter when 90% is out for blood. Ask him why kashmiri pandits are still targeted and killed in broad daylight every other month? When you enter kashmir even today the non Muslims will tell you remove all the holy threads or anything that could give away your identity as a hindu just so that you dont get jumped in the middle of the streets by random people. The kashmiri people don't want to be part of india but you'll see them in front of the line when it comes to grabbing reservations in jobs/colleges and all the govt facilities. They're nothing more than a bunch of hypocrites. Go to any jammu and kashmir social media page and read the comments, you'll find your answers.

@@k2rp The Kashmir Files brings to the Indian audience a hard-hitting depiction of the brutal trauma faced by the Kashmiri Pandits in their own homeland, at the hands of fanatic Islamists. This movie needs to be seen by one and all to understand the trauma faced by the heavily persecuted community and the resilience shown by them.
It ought to be stated upfront that The Kashmir Files is not a film but a virtual description of the atrocities faced by the painfully persecuted community of India, viz. The Kashmiri Hindus. Thirty-one years have passed since one of the most horrific ethnic cleansings in history took place nearly throughout the Kashmir valley. Unfortunately, we do not yet have any solid strategies and plans for rehabilitating the Hindus of Kashmir, and, most importantly of all, how can we make them forget those turbulent, disturbing, violent and spine-chilling events? Hindus are the victim of blatant ignorance displayed by the Abrahamics precisely because they are tolerant and open, but most importantly are a global minority.
Islamists have been disturbing India’s social peace for centuries, yet many ignorant Hindus do not recognize the threat they pose to our existence. We cannot and should never forget how Hindus in Kashmir were killed in broad daylight, females were raped and brutalized, and children were tortured. Systematic attempts have been made to whitewash the atrocities committed by these Muslim marauders. Can you imagine what it would be like to recount that horror every single day of your life? Families have been ripped apart, uprooted forever, for what? In order to demonstrate their authority, the Islamists forced people to convert or die, their call being “Ralive, Tsalive, Galive”, in other words, “you can convert, run, or you can die.” Added to this was also the ennobling abdication of responsibility by then Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah. What would you do if you were forced to spend your entire life in a miserable tent, only because you were a Hindu? Hindus are regarded as weak because they are ever-tolerant, ready to accept any and every attack, without retorting back. This serves as a wake-up call for the entire Hindu community if they do not remove the veil of secularism and believe in community friendship, because Islamists clearly don’t. The earlier Hindus realize that Islamists work to fulfill the prophecy of Ghazwa-E-Hind; the better it will be for them.
EVEN TODAY, THE INDIAN STATE STILL LACKS THE CAPACITY TO RECOGNIZE AND CALL OUT ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALISM AND THE COURAGE TO DISMANTLE THE TERROR INFRASTRUCTURE. ISLAMISTS CARRYING OUT DISTURBING AND DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES ARE ALWAYS ENCOURAGED IN THE NAME OF SUPPORTING SECULARISM. HINDUS RETALIATING AGAINST IT ARE TAKEN AS A THREAT TO SOCIETY AND THE OPPRESSION OF MINORITIES. THE QUESTION THEN BECOMES, WHERE DID THE MAJORITY OPPRESSION MANIFEST IN THE CASE OF GIRIJA TIKOO?
Because of Vivek Agnihotri’s meticulous efforts in directing the film, the film shows the horrors that Kashmiri Hindus endure on a daily basis, even today. The work is a masterpiece because it evokes real emotions, those that touch a chord with the viewer and also put him/her in the position of the actual victims. A raw nerve is touched in the movie, which urges Hindus to wake up from their self-imposed slumber. In addition to illustrating the brutality and harsh realities of life facing the Kashmiri Hindus, this film also projects a glimpse into the future. This is a result of the failure of Hindus to understand the looming threat posed by the radical Abrahamics.
As per some estimates, 80 million Hindus have perished, making them one of the most brutalized and traumatized societies in the world, at the hands of followers of the fundamentalist Abrahamic religions. In spite of successive assaults on their culture and identity, this story reveals how a small community survived and resisted relentlessly. Imagine the agony, anguish, and pain of the Kashmiri Pandits when our former PM Manmohan Singh invited separatists like Yasin Malik for ‘so-called’ discussions and indulged in happy photo ops. This is a clear indication of how Congress supported these terrorists tacitly. The Congress party showed a clear display of arrogance by mocking their emotions.
The film shows gory details that shake the conscience of one, but as usual, the hyped liberal-left intelligentsia and our usual Bollywood cabal, chose to involve themselves in dirty propaganda and highlight anti-India and anti-Hindu narrative in pursuit of entertainment and freedom of expression. The treatment meted out to people connected with film is a textbook example of the hatred reigned by the Bollywood gang. This is what Kapil Sharma did to the cast and crew of the film recently, in addition to the blatant ignorance displayed by Anupama Chopra in her review of the film. By playing the secular card and claiming the movie is an attempt to spread propaganda, she not only trivializes the entire genocide but also deliberately ignores the travesty of the Kashmiri Pandits. However, the most ‘un’surprising part is that she is the wife of Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who belongs to Kashmiri descent and is closely linked to the Kashmir Genocide of 1990… Irony just died a thousand deaths!! Unfortunately, such an attitude of apathy, disdain, and criticism is contrary to what one would expect from the people in public domain.
We must learn from our history, which shows that Muslims cannot ever be our faithful friends or well-wishers, as Prithviraj Chauhan encountered after releasing Muhammad Ghori, who killed Chauhan at the first opportunity he got. These examples abound throughout history, yet Hindus deliberately avoid facing reality. Unfortunately, our politicians indulge in appeasement politics and pander to minorities without considering the long-term effects. It is true that more valuable insights and information are delivered by this movie than we can ever discover from our biased media or leftist academicians, unfortunately, whose viewpoints affect how Indians perceive themselves. Hindus should take this as an important wake-up call, since if they don’t learn to fight, then they must be ready to accept their fate, which is to perish.

Both can be true at the same time and needs to spoken to independently. It seems he retired to the opinion that speaking about those atrocities is not beneficial and goes about doing the so called 'balancing' act. IMHO, it's disrespect to people intelligence. Society can process the truth (violence against pandits or for that matter truth about Indian history) and must process the truth, if one TRUELY believes in 'Satyameva Jayate'. What happened to Kashmiri Hindus 33 years ago is a sad and a painful memory not only for them but for Hindus worldwide. Sadly, the Global powers and Human rights bodies have conveniently overlooked the atrocities meted out by the Islamic fanatics and fundamentalists till now and justice is still awaited.
What happened in 1990 to the Kashmiri Hindus wasn’t a new or one off incident. The truth being that Hindus since centuries, have been at the receiving end of the onslaught initiated by Abrahamics, who always perceived progressive Sanatan Dharma as a threat to their rigid and orthodox religions’. More than three decades have passed since the deadly and barbaric genocide against Kashmiri Hindus was undertaken by the hate filled Muslim fanatics in the valley. A systematic attempt towards Ethnic Cleansing of the valley was undertaken by Pak trained terrorists & their valley based cohorts, just to remind to Hindus all over, that this wasn’t a simple attack but one undertaken to remind Hindus that what the fanatical Islamists were capable of, if their line wasn’t towed. Unfortunately, even after so many years, this brazen attitude continues by these Mullahs and their sympathizers.
The date 14 September 1989 is significant, when the first major killing of a Kashmiri Hindu leader, Pandit Tika Lal Taploo, occurred in the Valley, setting the tone for the mass exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from the region on 19 January 1990.The dark night of 19th January, saw the unleashing of terror when Islamist fundamentalists stormed the streets and the then administrative dispensation sat peacefully to see the savage destruction unleashed by the cold-blooded terrorists. One, where many families were torn apart and scarred forever, men were held hostage and brutalized, ladies were raped and killed, and innocent children were molested and tortured. All this happened in broad daylight and the pseudo-secular intellectual class didn’t even bat an eyelid. The dare-devilry of these Islamists can be understood by the fact that this dance of destruction undertaken by them went on and on, ravaging innumerable lives over two days and this happened in front of people, where a Hizbul Mujahideen sponsored newspaper ‘Aftab’ threatened Kashmiri Hindus to leave the Kashmir valley with immediate effect.
THEY TRIED IMPOSING SHARIA LAWS OVER THE STATE IN AN OVERDRIVEN ZEAL AND DURING THE INTERVENING NIGHT OF 18TH AND 19TH JANUARY, A BLACKOUT TOOK PLACE IN THE KASHMIR VALLEY EXCEPT THAT OF MOSQUES, WHERE INFLAMMATORY/THREATENING AND DIVISIVE MESSAGES WERE PLAYED ACROSS ALL MOSQUES IN THE VALLEY, ASKING HINDUS TO VACATE THEIR HOMES OVERNIGHT OR ELSE FACE REPERCUSSIONS. THIS INCIDENT ITSELF REEKS OF A WELL PLANNED AND A WELL COORDINATED CONSPIRACY, AS TO WHY ONLY MOSQUES WERE SUPPLIED ELECTRICITY DURING THE ENTIRE SUDDEN BLACKOUT?
These terror inflicting and human rights violators also attacked our armed forces personnel at Rawalpora, this implies how much they cared for the law of the land. Being a traitor comes naturally to these people. All this happened so naturally and organically because of the free hand given to the Kashmiri separatist leaders like Yasin Malik, Syed Shah Geelani, et al. Coupled with this was the fact, that some of our media houses openly portrayed these fanatics as poor, downtrodden revolutionaries against the wealthy Kashmiri Hindus. All in all, it was a hogwash meant to fool Indians and people worldwide so that these Islamic fundamentalists could enjoy global sympathy.
This pre-planned diabolical attack was a glaring example of how the Indian state failed to protect its own citizens where 350,000 of their own Kashmiri Pandits, who constituted 99% of the then total population of Hindus living in Muslim majority area of the Kashmir Valley, were forcibly pushed out of the Valley by Muslim terrorists (terrorism has no religion!!!) since the end of 1989. Unfortunately, Kashmiri Hindus have been forced to live in exile in their own country, outside their homeland, and all this was done by the vicious Islamists by unleashing a systematic campaign of terror, murder, loot and arson.
It isn’t surprising to know that none of the so-called International Human rights bodies like Amnesty International, Asia Watch, etc. did nothing substantial per se, to alleviate the sufferings of the displaced and pained Hindus. To be fair, anything substantial is a long road, till today the Global order is yet to accept it as a planned Genocide, a tear was not shed nor did anyone cry…why? Because it was the peaceful Hindus and their existence which was at stake, unlike brutal, ignorant and fanatic Islamists who are perpetually troubled minorities!!!
Just a grim reminder to all the Hindus who are blindfolded by their love for secularism and believe in ‘Hindu-Muslim Bhai Bhai’ need to refresh their memory that what happened with Girija Tickoo or Sushil Kotru or Mrs. Roopwati and countless others wasn’t a one off incident rather it’s a prelude to what these Sharia law following, blood thirsty, cruel and barbaric fundamentalists are capable of doing, if given a free hand. It’s time that Hindus gather together and raise their voice against the growing dominance of these Islamists to not let this past spine-chilling incident ever repeat in the future.

Somehow your soul is such and your journey is that it can impact you shaping as a person and also impact on many young following you. It’s good to have an open conversation on any topic but please be little conscious in people coming on podcast. Not commenting on this episode but in general. Also the topic that are so delicate, better to keep them for a later period when you have also grown and understood them in a better perspective to use your own wise mind on picking up of topic and person to talk on the topic.
It’s not necessary especially at young age to have understanding on everything. We can focus on more objective things and let more experienced people handle it. Yes at some point when you are mature then can touch these topics for mature audience. We can rather channelise energy of very young in more objective things. Hope it makes some sense

Only a kashmiri pandit knows the truth and has seen how horror looks like. Justifying majority of kashmiri Muslims is outrightly inhuman and insanely heartless. Kashmiri pandits were thrown out of their heart which lies in kashmir not just by terrorists but also coz Muslims were never in sync with pandits..they entirely helped terrorists in having them killed and migrate. They were always jealous of the fact that pandits are super educated and have huge properties in their state. And PM was also pandit so that added onto the ongoing separation segment. Pandits were their neibours whom they betrayed badly while the later was trying to escape.. im a kashmiri pandit my self and grown up hearing what all has been told in the story...it was just 50 prcnt as remaining is not known to us and not out there in public. No pandit would tell him that he didnt like the story and he wants to go back. The reality is no pandit wants to go back as their heart full of kashmir died in the process of migration.

Shiekh Abdullah was denied a govt. job. Thats why kashmiri muslims wanted to ethnically cleanse the hindus. What rubbish justifications are these. Just see how he brings in the moral question of hindus practising untouchability when he is asked about giving secular justifications to what kashmiri muslims did.

@krishg3095 it's good you did.. even I wanted to.. but I could see myself not being able to understand why he was saying what he was saying.. I was unable to reason with him. I did not want to have any hateful opinion on him, so I decided not to hear it further. I stopped watching it with the thought that I respected his side of the story, but I chose to move on to another subject rather than dwell on his side of the story...

Stopped watching after he blamed Kashmiri Pandits for their own genocide. If I was first time viewer of the podcast, I would have blocked Ranveer after watching this.

Now I can understand why a group of people can become refugees within their own country. The State is led by people like these. He went to the extent of justifying terrorism as a justified outcome of the freedom movement.
He is beyond shameless at this stage. The sheer disaffection and hatred for the indigenous Hindus of Kashmir is palpable.
A couple of whiskeys and I think he will speak his mind.
Ranveer is so desperate to get a point of view that humanizes bigoted people and ideologies. The desperate "fist pump" moment was beyond sickening.🤮🤮🤮

i wrote my comment before seeing the comments of others. After seeing those Ranveer, am deeply conflicted about your guest's integrity. One of my childhood buddies served in Kashmir and retired as Lt Gen from the proud Garhwal Rifles. He took bullets from a militants gun and almost lost his life protecting the state. I complement your commentators many of who, despite not having first hand knowledge, still found your guests characterization of events as disingenuous. Jai Hind!

As your well-wisher and almost 500+ podcast watcher of your 2 channels Ranveer bhaiya, some requests for my bhaiya's improvement
    1. When a spiritual teacher like Sri M and Rajarshi Nandy is describing something pls don't interfere between them, because when you interfere to simplify something...Huh, You can request your guest to describe it but if only it's highly complicated...
    2. You can use the big screen behind you in some tech-related podcasts or others, like Joe Rogan uses, Ex- If a guest is talking about mobile, You can search it there, it's quite a refreshing idea rather than adding photos in the video.
Lots of love ❤️🙏🏻 I hope you read this comment.

This is one sided picture given by the IPS police officer. The very fact he said he was not interested to see Kashmir Files indicated his prejudice against Kashmiri Pandits. People coming to Kashmir for few years as outsiders cannot understand psyche of Kashmiri Muslims. Highly disappointing description of the events. It should be referred as highly filtered story with prejudice mind rather than unfiltered story.
