4k video: CRAZY elephant trunk tornado from birth through rope out in eastern Colorado!

  • Tornado touches down with spectacular rope out just east of Prospect Valley, Colorado at around 2:15 pm on June 19, 2018, shot with Sony 4k camera. Tornado lasted at least 10 minutes. High Plains insanity

      Yes it was a cyclic supercell certainly and was handing off to the next one. It did produce a few funnel clouds

    This is so cool, watched all of these tornado chasing clips, love it. Sad, that the most of tornados are in USA, in my country we can only chase and photography thunderstorms :(

    I saw one of those in Michigan in the 1970's. It wasn't touching the ground, but it was horizontal with obvious high speed rotation visible due to different shades of gray.

    What are the things that shoot straight down at 7:00?
    I realize it's time lapse,but there is something about that moment that just doesn't seem right. Both "things"go the exact same direction and the exact same speed, but not at the same time.

      I believe that is hail in the hook region of the supercell

      Reed Timmer I'm not convinced. Amazing footage none the less, but something about that doesn't seem natural. Maybe it is hail. I've never seen it like that.
