Emerson "Longnose" 56" Antique Ceiling Fan

Black motor with basswood blades. Manufactured sometime in the early-mid 1920s. 56" span with a 14-degree blade pitch. The shaft is worn, but the cyclic flux buzz is only really noticeable at high speed, and mainly due to the wobble.
The Longnose was Emerson's workhorse model, manufactured from 1917 to 1931. It was directly replaced with what we refer to as the "roundnose."
