Nope you don't. You can chose the option that you "like her voice the way it is" as oppose it a "higher pitch." IF you chose that over the higher pitch she doesn't wear the school uniform.

I watched Yukiko and Chie's own before this and I have to say, I like Naoto's version the best. Mainly because of the hardships she went through. I'm happy to see she found someone (Yu) who loves her for who she really is and is happy with her. I'm so happy for her honestly. Makes me a bit sad even. (in a good way)

I like the Persona series but I think this game absolutely takes the cake as the best. It has such a perfect blend of humour and seriousness that makes just so great!
+Knightindernacht I love it, but it just wasn't as dark as Persona 3. Sure it had some mature themes but P4 just didn't have the balls to start killing characters off like in P3.
+AzureKite619 But Persona 3 was extremely bleak and dark. Too much as a matter a fact. Persona 4 was definitely a welcomed change of tone with an overall more positive message. Not saying I didn't love Persona 3, it was the first Persona I beat and it had a powerful story, but yeah, I prefer the much more lighter 4

I believe its supposed to be a parody of case closed/detective conan who had gadges that were always disguised as other things. though A knife radio is a pretty stupid idea.
Mj tickle95 think about it like this someone acts tough or is attempting to instigate a fight but are either scared of blades or are more likely to back off when real trouble starts or seems to start you can pull the knife out and not have to pick up youre radio whisper a code and let the police know without the person having a clue you called the cops or in certain instances it can be used to both alert the police and stall an attacker

I don't think they could have realized it was the work of persona users. I mean the way the metaverse/midnight channel were used by the villains was pretty different.

In P4 Arena there's this thing that Naoto says that would be out of context and weird if you didn't do the lovers social link in Persona 4. So I'm not saying that it's canon (far from it) but there are implications.

Ok I’m just gonna say this. Kanji has a CRUSH on Naoto that doesn’t mean he’s ready to date Naoto. And even if he wanted to he would probably be the most useless boyfriend ever. If Kanji were to help with the Phantom Thief case he would just be bumbling around like an idiot while Naoto would do all the work.
Moreover, in order to start the romance path you have to make a VERY counterintuitive choice. Kanji Tatsumi does not do counterintuitive; the guy is about as subtle as a brick in the face. He'd be pretty much guaranteed to flub it.

In order to be able to say that, you need to choose both the “I’m glad you’re a girl” dialogue option and the ‘protect her’ action option.
You have to choose 'I'm glad you're a girl' and 'Protect Naoto' In order to date her.

And the way I rotate saves, it was too far back to fix. Glad I spent 30 hours of the game worrying about who to romance only for the game to say: "sorry, you didn't say these specific options, tough luck."
+Th3SmartAlec Apparently, something similar happens in Akihiko's Lovers route in Persona 3, only there are three questions that you have to answer in a specific way, and to make matters worse, you can't advance past Rank 8 until after October 4 (if you played the game, you'll know why, but if you haven't, it won't make sense to you). As far as I know, Social Links are significantly easier in Persona 4, since Naoto's is the only one besides Ai's that can reverse, and Ai's is the only one that can break.
