This was… crazy. But also such a fun experience! Thank you so much for doing this collab with me, despite how challenging it turned out to be. I have been inspired seeing you press through this and produce something amazing, even when you had doubts in yourself.
Doing this without a reference image is even crazier of a challenge than what I took on! I’m seriously impressed and it’s been a huge honour to collaborate with you on this video.
And… Kiba was ADORABLE. Can you send him, next time?

Something I didn't mention during the video, As to not bring the Tone down.
Sarah and many whom follow my social Medias were aware I've had some MAJOR personal troubles and issues that have caused anxiety/stress and sleep deprivation. I believe that impart contributed to my break down mid video.
My OCD has also become VERY bad, causing sleep loss.
Anyway, I apologise If some of the negativity in the video threw off the otherwise AWESOME and FUN collab/video 😊

I didnt get to explain in the video, as it would bring down the mood. But, I've been vocal on twitter/Instagram about many problems that I've dealt with personally while doing the collab (unrelated) I think it contributed to my little break down in the video.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with a pet who steals EVERY pencil from your fingers! Mine is a cat, but omg the struggles! I adore your doggy! That castle turned out so cool! The whole thing is gorgeous, but that CASTLE! This collab was so much fun to watch. I hope you get to do so many more with quirky people!

Three of my favorite UA-camrs, You, Kiba and Sarah! I laughed so hard at Kiba's antics, stealing your pencil and trying to draw with it. He's such an adorable dog. You did an amazing job with that paint.

That was so much fun! 😄 and I totally understand the struggle with the image you chose. With paint you rather create an illusion of detail than painting actual details.

For future reference - It's a good idea to stick your piece down all along the edges with masking/painters/washi tape anytime you have to paint on paper 👍🏻 You did awesomely by the way for not knowing your medium and for the pressure of the time limit. Remember, practice makes progress and I will forever encourage artists to challenge themselves
Loved exploring you tackle coloring books through different mediums. It’s always scary to step out of your comfort zone, but the results are fantastic. Really have helped me as an artist to see the process and doubt, but at the end of the day just have fun and keep going. Enjoyed this video so much!
I am so proud of you for pushing through til thee end, growing comes from pushing past your limits while going beyond your comfort zone. So good job buddy keep up the great work!

Kiba help is like ferret help - not much gets done, but the cuteness level is off the chart.
You're amazing! I love your channel! You're really authentic, funny and approachable ^^ Those are the qualities I like most in UA-camrs. I feel like they're human, just like me and it makes me (and propbably others) motivated to see you finish this despite the struggle you had with the piece. I feel like I learned that you sometimes just need to change your view on things to keep going, and that that can help you find fun in something you were frustrated with before.

This was so much fun watching you two and how you both had your own struggles with the page and the mediums. I do have to say that Kiba always steals the show. I absolutely love Kiba and your interactions! Thank you for making my day!!!
I learned a very valuable lesson watching both of you do this...and that was to just go full steam ahead, jump in and go - and have fun without stressing. I used to really enjoy drawing and painting until I started to see how everyone else on youtube and I developed a lot of anxiety about not being good enough - I can draw people worth a darn- and it really ruined art for me for a long time. Seeing two artists that I admire so much doing this and struggling really helped with my anxiety. Thank you. Both of your pieces turned out fantastic and I learned not to sweat the small details even more.
I loved it. I saw Sarah's video first and just had to see your side of the challenge. What a wacky challenge as well. Her cat was bad enough but your dog was outrageous! I loved your video ! Your styles are so different. I especially liked the way you changed what was on the page and made it your own instead of trying to make it the way it was originally drawn. Awesome.
This was an awesome collaboration! Loved the dynamic and how you go thru your thought process. New mediums can be tricky especially with time restrictions. Your piece turned out amazingly!

And also, Kiba knows when your not feeling your best and will give you the love and cuddles and try to “comfort” you. When my husband was in deepest depression, our dog became his shadow and just wanted to cuddle with him constantly, and soon became the only thing that helped him cope when he was feeling at his worst ❤️

In my lowly internet opinion,
I enjoy your videos. Especially the ones where you color children's coloring books. They are my favorite videos to watch. I enjoy seeing you take something so basic (just line art) and turning it into an art piece. I feel that the new "trend" is to make it so challenging with the most ridiculous rules. This is unnecessary and causes the art to not reach its full potential. I understand that using different mediums helps with skill. I also understand that you need views and to be seen on the algorithm. But your art alone is all we need. No pressure to think of crazier and crazier challenges.
We just wanted to have fun.
I think of around 200 videos or serious art, it's nice to have a break and mess about.
I mean ultimately, serious art is for learning, galleries and ego.
I'd rather we just have a laugh tbh.

I live in New Zealand and we have Marmite which is basically the same thing is vegemite. The best way to actually eat it is thinly spread on a hot piece of toast with melted butter. And if you want you can add a slice of cheese. 😇
In all fairness, I gave him proper instructions too. And recommended the cheese! So the vegemite experience was entirely self-inflicted here…. 😂😂😂
@@SarahRenaeClark This is true and thinking about it, with him being English I would have thought he would have known want vegemite was because they have Marmite. But in saying that I would not have thought in doing what he did with it. Because I can eat Marmite the exact same way. 😆 And as for those shapes crackers I live off those things. And yet I didn't realise that the Vegemite flavoured ones are in the shape of Australia. Shows how much I pay attention to what I eat. 🤦

I have a few of these books, and they are beautiful, but they are incredibly stressful. They just aren't enjoyable for me personally. I have finished several pages, but I haven't been happy with any of them. My OCD won't let me I think, but I'm going to try the paint. My biggest issue is with all of the crazy line work. The paints covered those, so fingers crossed maybe I'll be able to enjoy it for once. Lol. Thanks for the inspiration. You did a great job.

When trying vegemite for the first time what you want to do is wave a piece of toast over the jar and just get the essence if it, just enough capture its spirit.
