Thank you for not cutting out your stutter, it's great for general awareness and acceptance. It's also just part of you and we're all really enjoying you just being you.
Ngl I can't get enough of this content. Ever since he stopped worrying about what we think and started doing what he finds fun, I just can't click on a new video fast enough. I also love that I have no idea what's going to happen in a video and I need to watch to find out... Then you add the fact that he is an ARTIST and drops art knowledge bombs...yes, more of this, please.
Honestly, your content is getting better and better as the days go on! As an older person who is only just beginning to do art, I appreciate how relatable you are, you're making me feel better about myself! So often I'm intimidated by professional artists because they come across SO serious, but you make art FUN again, Anthony! Thank you! Appreciate your channel so much.
Loving the new style, it's bringing out a different side as it's easy to see how much more relaxed you are. Also love watching you get your exercise in walking the long way around your desk, something I often do!
I do wanna say that you keeping your stuttering and lil funny bits in does help with the charm of your channel. I feel like a lot of videos try to be perfect all the time, and then everything starts to blend together, poorly. I hope things are starting to turn around for you and I hope your day gets better.
I absolutely needed this video today as my anxiety is up for whatever reason. I especially needed to hear the part about if you don’t feel like drawing or are not enjoying it- walk away. I know to do that as a writer but I always feel guilty if I don’t sketch something a day. So, thank you for saying that. Also… longer vids are cool with me! Do what makes you happy (right?) 😊
Seems like the current phase of ADCArtAttack content is 50% winging it and 50% having an existential crisis over paper. Valid. 👍 Edit: WOW that art block advice is surprisingly something I've never heard, yet might be the realest advice I've heard.
I agree with some of it, sometimes it is hard to create or get inspired, so yeah just go do something else, play a game, go exercise, try something new. However, if the art block is going on for longer periods of time, it could be other issues. I once went 2 years without touching a pencil, art block to depression, change of situations in life and playing Shantae rekindled my love for drawing again.
I love art so much, but ever since I've gone through a tough time in life I cannot get myself to be creative. I get so excited when your videos launch because I get to follow a creative process that doesn't feel staged.
Vlog style all the way! Love you as an artist and your opinions and commentary opposed to just cutting it out and only doing art. These are way better and you can tell you truly enjoy the process!!
Im really loving this more unfiltered, less editted content! Its much more relatable - especially cutting laps around your table, i do that ish all the time 😂 Totally agree with your points about less pressure in colourong books, as well as just wanting to colour. I also just want to colour sometimes! Im making a conscious effort to learn to draw anatomy and character design as well, but sometimes i just want to colour! Keep up the fresh content, its very fun!
I’ve been following you for a while, and it’s so fun watching you loosen up and drop some of the perfectionism and have fun in your videos! I love the slightly chaotic vibe it brings. But also you seem happier and that’s so important and I’m happy for you! Best wishes to you I hope art stays fun and exciting!
You're my new favorite. I learned stuff and I haven't laughed this hard at a video in ages. You are an absolute delight to watch. And I LOVE what you said about art block.
This style of video is fun, silly, and wildly entertaining. You are human! You are showing us your real reactions and it feels more like a conversation with a friend. Keep it up and do what makes you happy -- we are all here because we like what you are doing! 💚
You're content is getting better & better honestly! It's honest, real, true versus scripted. I fully enjoy your videos and learn a lot from them. I would definitely be interested in watching/taking a Skill Share class that you create. 😊💜
Hi, just wanted to say I’ve always enjoyed your videos but am really enjoying how real, down to earth and more natural you are. I love the fact your just being yourself and it’s like we get a peek at your inner monologue, so similar to how I sit and do my art, I’m always talking to myself 😅also enjoy the fact I feel I’m just enjoying a personal wee art session with you, you’re so relatable and it’s nice seeing that we all have struggles but you just tackle them as we can and not to be so hard on ourselves. Sorry if it’s a little bit of a ramble. All the best from Scotland 🏴 😊😊😊
Still loving the content mate I had no idea about markers before I stumbled on one of your videos I went out and bought some cheap markers and used you videos to learn and now they are all I use! Thank you and please keep putting out content
I like some of the Meeden accessories (ceramic pallets) but the oil paints were weirdly cut with something that prevents them from drying even when using things to make it dry faster. It's been 3 months and my oil painting with it is still very wet. They also don't mix with other oil paints and linseed oil makes them separate. I do adore the Maries Watercolor/Gouache paint. It's apparently cut with a type of chalk which gives it a very nice thickness and finish. Almost like jelly gouache. They blend well and take a few passes to reactivate so you can go over the top of them once to keep sharp colors or multiple times to blend with whats already on the paper. They dilute with water beautifully and dry without sharp lines. The whites and blacks are very strong. Paper is very hit and miss. Some watercolor paper is incredibly nice and others are just trash from the $1 store. Brushes are very nice if you pay for them. Still cheaper than in store here. I have gotten some very beautiful watercolor brushes that hold water very well. Brushes seem consistent in quality. I love using JinHao fountain pens for inking but there is a lot of fakes on Temu so I use Aliexpress for them. Ink has been very miss for non-waterproof ink and there isn't any waterproof acrylic inks available for me. The alcohol inks were very nice and cheap as well although they have a strange, overpowering smell. Markers are nice but they run out very fast. Refillable inks are a little expensive but at least you can see how much you are getting. The refillable black ink I got was more purple than black so quality isn't the best or consistent.
Hello, new subscriber here...I've seen you shouted out in other people's videos but never watched. Now I've watched & I love you. Thank you for making videos & being you:)
I love this challenge your doing, I’ve always questioned Temu’s markers, good to know for the price they are worth it, (but the paper not so much) and glad for you your change up to a vlog over a everyday video, so much more fun. Tfs ❤😊
I've been iffy with double sided books, but I always HATE it when it bleeds through, I've legit have not touched my manga coloring book cuz of the fact that it not only bleeds thru, but BECAUSE of it bleeding through, I have to decide which page I want to draw on, and some of the artwork take up BOTH pages, not to mention that it has some pages where certain areas glow in the dark, and turns out you can't color over them (learned that the hard way), which made me disappointed cuz I REALLY liked the coloring book, but cuz of all these factors, I haven't touched it since I bought it
Your content is only getting better and better as you destress and let more of your personality shine through! Not that your content wasn't good before - but you feel so much more relatable now, the videos feel warmer, you're not cutting out what makes you you as much! It's vulnerable, but it's a good thing. It's goofy, it's funny, it's silly, it's YOU! And I know I stopped watching for just the art you put out and stuck around for the guy on the screen a long while ago.
The non-staining and then the “error 404” brain code 😁 epically funny. I’m glad I’m not the only one. It would have been funny if you had the sound to go with it.
I am an intermediate artist, it’s just a hobby for me I never did any learning on the subject, and I stopped for the longest time. So I probably had an art block of some sort, but I agree if you can’t find inspiration or feel like you’re blocked stop, take a step back it’s probably to much pressure and work on it later. My obstacles where looking at other artists and being stunned that I couldn’t do that, I got over it and just decided to draw and stop being afraid… that’s how I regained my art hobby 😂 sorry long story.
As someone who started illustrating books with the cheapest possible art supplies, I literally bought dollar tree supplies. It's doable with these products if you don't have the budget.❤🎉
This is around one of the first videos I found helpful and I'm searching for around 2hrs in 2xspeed 😅 Since holulu is sold out everywhere and I want to start coloring ( not with those bad tedi color pens with no picment) . Something good for beginners witch a bit of layering so I can learn and get destressed 🥰I will buy them. Now I have to chose Amazon or shein 😂
Tip for Art block, just color in a coloring book or do the reverse coloring book. You don't have to draw to be creative. I actually think these temu products are okay if you are on a budget but for a few dollars more to invest in yourself get ohuhu. Though one experiment would be if you can replace the nibs with a brush tip from ohuhu. That would make it worth the cost as can just buy the replacement nibs
A lot of people with art block say they don’t know what to draw but want to draw. No one is saying you have to create a masterpiece, just do some doodles if you want to get the juices flowing!
Hullo Anthony, I would offer this idea, I believe you have thought of this but just in case, I got into the "habit" of scanning my coloring books before I or anyone started coloring in them! My nephews like to color the same thing over and over again. SO I just scanned the pages so they can be colored more than once! I have also used graphite paper to make copies of the same image when they both wanted to color the same image! This works great when teaching them how to work with an image with basic outlines and filling in details! Keep doing what your doing! I wonder if they put the paper in the pad backwards? You might try the "backside" of the pad just to see if they messed up!
The ADHD was strong with this video, and I'm not complaining. LOL! Makes me see that my approach to art (coloring, buying supplies ive never used, etc) isn't 'lazy' or weird, it's just.. me.. and it's normal.
ADHDCArtAttack, lol, I do the same thing, start one drawing, then another, leave one half coloured for months, buy new supplies, don't use new supplies, start multiple new sketchbooks without finishing one. hahaha
Heh, art block tip: Use a coloring book if you have art block, to help you just get over that often anxiety of a blank paper and no ideas, and just smack some colors on or use it to genuinely just get better at coloring with markers or whatever your medium! I think using children's coloring books can be very nice when you just don't know what to do but want to draw or color or just be creative - it dosen't need to be perfect.
The paper sounds like those 90s velvetty "art" things you know the ones that were like disney outlines in velvet/felty stuff had like 5 felt tips. Tbf those marker tips sound like those types of felt tip nibs 😂
I'm not sure if you would or if you can get them where you live but I recently started using Nassau fine art markers and paper (they have mixed media paper) and while they are both really inexpensive they have left me petty happy the markers come in different set sizes (smallest set is a set of 3 in different colors) and the paper comes in different sizes too Great for sketching and just having fun If you ever find them I think they'd make a neat video
I would love to hear what you think of my first piece of art work I've just completed on the new ohuhu paper ? Is there any way you could please. Many thanks. My family say its good but I feel its average compared to art work I see on UA-cam.
@ADCArtAttack Would love to see you review the Tombow ABT Pencil Brush Pen Dual Brush Pen Set and maybe compare them to Ohuhu, Copic or Spectrum Noir Markers.
Maybe by non-staining they mean marks won't bleed through or that the paper doesn't yellow. Stay true might mean they're claiming the colors won't fade easily. Just my guesses.
I got a question: Why don't you scan and print the picture you want to color instead of it bleeding through to the other side and ruining the coloring book?
The first 500 people to use my link skl.sh/adcartattack06241 will get a 1 month free trial of Skillshare premium!
Really like the new style and as always your humor, congrats man. And it seems you forgot something, the end if the drawing in the coloringbook ;-)
Your my favourite UA-camr great videos art is amazing keep up the good work (: nice
Hi 👋
Why did you waste your money on temu?😮😮😮😢
Didn't you learn from the last one?

I agree

when I don't want to draw I also use colouring books. its still a way to practice. I thank you for that idea from the old artist vs kids books videos
love, love, LOVE your channel man! keep going with this and the longer content is awesome!! (like you )

Your content is actually great, I ❤ how real it and you are 😊❤
Hello! Loving the new vid styles
Definitely a fan of the longer, vlog style videos 😊 and loving seeing you try new art materials!
I should have my double-sided ohuhu paper waiting in my mailbox when I get home today!
Absolutely love your content and the random directions you take
The Chaos is awesome! Love watching you have fun making art again! ❤

Love the longer videos! ❤
I really had to learn that the hard way, that paper is often more important than expensive art supplies🎉
Re watching today because its not a Saturday at work without an ADC Artattack Video 💛
Off topic comment: The intros are fine! I love how real your intros are! Keep being real! ❤
You are so damn entertaining to watch! Easily one of my favourite youtubers today
"When somebody says that paper doesn't make a difference, unfollow them."
Words to live by.
I like your new honesty! You make me happy!
My favorite inspiration. And I'm drawing as well lol

I enjoy the chaos going on.. my ADHD is satisfied. Also the stutter is kind of adorable..
Hey ADC I have been using the Strathmore marker paper lately and it is very good. I will try the Ohuhu since it's a little cheaper.
As soon as he said “character creation” I thought Jazza! Love, love, LOVE when my favorite artists mention my other favorite artists🥹
The non-staining and then the “error 404” brain code 😁 epically funny. I’m glad I’m not the only one. It would have been funny if you had the sound to go with it.
Hello Anthony! Thank you for your content. Do you give lessons on how to color with alcohol markers ? I d be very interested !
I am an intermediate artist, it’s just a hobby for me I never did any learning on the subject, and I stopped for the longest time. I nifty hack I have to avoid the color bleeds on the paper is by placing a cardboard piece of 8x10 or 9x12 underneath the paper you're coloring.
HUH?! ANOTHER UPLOAD AFTER 3 DAYS?! IT'S A MIRACLE.
As someone who started illustrating books with the cheapest possible art supplies, I literally bought dollar tree supplies. It's doable with these products if you don't have the budget.❤🎉
Enjoy the longer videos personally, always look forward to watching them 🦆
Yay 🎉 I was hoping you would have an art class one day 😄
This is around one of the first videos I found helpful and I'm searching for around 2hrs in 2xspeed 😅

I'm so glad not the only crazy person to sing and do sound effects when doing art 😅
U and and some other people have motivated me to do art
I do like your longer videos! Vielen lieben Dank!
I would really love to see the finished artwork in the coloring book :)
A lot of people with art block say they don’t know what to draw but want to draw. No one is saying you have to create a masterpiece, just do some doodles if you want to get the juices flowing!
No harm on testing grey, but why not make a spotlight colourbackground? Like in anime moving/action style? Just a thought, maybe?
Hullo Anthony, I would offer this idea, I believe you have thought of this but just in case, I got into the "habit" of scanning my coloring books before I or anyone started coloring in them! Good luck man ❤🎉

If you ever find them I think they'd make a neat video
love your videos bro. keep it up. btw where did you get that hat? lol I would want to buy one
12:25
That's crazy that you ended up drawing a DB character cause I was just thinking to myself "You should draw Goku or Vegeta!!
I love your new style. IT’s organised chaos. Love it.
DID NOT LIKE THE SOUND THE MARKER MADE ON THE CHEAP PAPER… EEEEECH
Never feel bad about your stutter. Love you
Try vexx's coloring book.
If you don't mind me asking why didn't you just color golden frieza?
⚠️If you don't want your markers to bleed through that many pages put a paper or two, cardboard, or plastic underneath to prevent it! 😂⚠️
Thanks for posting today 💪🏽
I add paper in between the pages so I don't bleed through so many pages in the coloring book
Love your videos thank you for you work
You kept me giggling thru the whole video 😊
Thank you 😊 you are great 👍
Brilliant. Just Brilliant.
Fire; you could get fire from one side to the other of the Ohuhu paper.
Another Awesome video 👍👍👍
Ever time you think things are getting worse. You just don't know how good things are really getting. Never, are you not watch worthy.
Does anyone know if this Ohuhu paper is good for other mediums (specifically colored pencils) or is it just for markers?
Keep up the good work
Lovely content 😊
I see you have a Figure it out kit from Nerdecrafter… have you used it?
Putting an extra sheet of paper that’s thicker under the page your gunna color on can help your markers not bleed through half your coloring book.
For me personally I like the long videos
I would love to hear what you think of my first piece of art work I've just completed on the new ohuhu paper ? Is there any way you could please. Many thanks. My family say its good but I feel its average compared to art work I see on UA-cam.
Can we point out that the weird noise he made at 7:12 sounds like a duck
amazing.
I have some of those markers. They're not too bad for as cheap as they are
@ADCArtAttack
Would love to see you review the Tombow ABT Pencil Brush Pen Dual Brush Pen Set and maybe compare them to Ohuhu, Copic or Spectrum Noir Markers.
Maybe by non-staining they mean marks won't bleed through or that the paper doesn't yellow. Stay true might mean they're claiming the colors won't fade easily. Just my guesses.
I got a question:
Why don't you scan and print the picture you want to color instead of it bleeding through to the other side and ruining the coloring book?
i love your videos artattack
Love your stuff
