Wow! That place was sure rammed! So much cool vintage stuff left behind. I could spend days rummaging through it all. Thanks for showing us around!

I have those walkie talkies! And that exact model of beta VCR. Fun fact about that VCR is that it came with a wired remote which plugged into the jacks at the bottom right. Could never get mine to work properly. I think it was defective from the factory. Oh, and everyone should watch "The Last Starfighter". It's a very unsung movie of the time.

Begging you to pause on calendars, letters with postage dates, diaries, magazines, newspapers, etc so we can get a sense of timeline. Seeing a calendar frozen on the last month a house was occupied is haunting and informative.

This is a good indicator but not the final answer. My mom has calendars on her wall that she hasn't flipped in a few years! She just likes the picture lol. Same at my grandmothers house, she has a calendar on the wall from 10 years ago.
The Kraft dinner expired in 2015, so I would guess 2014 / 2015. A lot of stuff way older than that, but food expiry is always a good indicator.

How could anyone have that much stuff in one house. Even when lived in there isn't enough space for it all unless they were hoarders. Interesting video. Thanks.

These houses always make me so sad. Looks like someone has passed away any didn’t have anyone to look after their belongings. After seeing places like this i feel like doing a major declutter in my hose so my kids don’t end up with dealing with it all.

Hi Dave. What a mess. Hoarders House maybe. Always wonder what happened to the family. People who lived here must have loved reading. I love to read too Dave. Tub and toilet was pretty disgusting. No fridge Dave. Probably disgusting. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I have a Christmas album by the Chieftains - I love it. I think I had the identical pink vinyl Barbie case in the basement and the same amber plastic sewing box. It's sad that someone must have been living alone in that hoard at the end. It could have just been a fun house with lots of music and books but the stuff took over.

This house has more than any other urbex video I have ever seen. I could not believe the basement !! As usual many have been in the house and made a mess looking thru things. I see signs that someone once was packing things up. In the living room we see several of those "Banker" cardboard boxes and they still look very new. And in other rooms items were put into those clear plastic bins with the lids (which people have opened). Sadly I think the old lady died suddenly and the family was overwhelmed. And the huge amount of things in the house did not help the situation.

Cool house...I'd love to explore some dead people's houses one day if I had the chance, but I am scared of spiders. It's amazing how much stuff accumulates in a lifetime. It's amazing how little people get rid of too! Maybe it was just used for storage.

Pretty interesting stuff. I can sort of guess the age of the woman by her taste in music: The Irish stuff suggests a native Irish lass of around 80. The Cat Stevens and Peter, Paul and Mary say early to mid-70's. I"m 69- Loved Cat and remember my older sister's friends brought Peter, Paul and Mary (the album, not the trio) to a party. Is there a weird smell in these places?

Looks like whoever owned it last was using it for storage. It literally looks like the interior of a house I wrote about in a novel about urban researchers. I just hope who gets the house sells the contents or donates the objects to good will. I can't the thought of all that stuff ending up in a landfill.

I kinda wish you'd spend a bit more time trying to find out when the person might have last been there. A magazine cover with a date. A newspaper, some mail with a postage stamp etc so we can see when the last possible time someone entered.
I did see that bud apple flavored beer can and your Tim Hortons cup but I'd like some dating in your archaeology searches.
Not really a lot of dust in this one, just some rotent mess possibly.
