I listened to it earlier and I still don't like how low Danny Brown is in a lot of these mixes. He has a voice that's easy to bury in a mix cause he's so high pitched
I never really understood people's mixing issues critiques , i feel like some people just have an extra sensitive ear for that type of thing particularly. Like people said it about some Kanye albums and I remember Fantano or somebody else I forgot asked Mike Dean about it in an interview and he confirmed that's just the mixing that they liked in the studio it's not a 50 man production team is really putting out something bad from a lack of skill or an accident.
@@juju-vl7oj What I try to look for when asking mixing questions is "is every track (vocals, instruments, synths, drums, etc.) in the mix audible and doing its job and if not, why?" If I can clearly hear the vocals, the drums, the instruments, all separately if I focus, and none of them get in the way of each other and they all play their role, that's good mixing. My mixing critique is the heavy beats of a lot of these tracks cause Danny to just sort of fade into the mix where he's hard to pick out and it doesn't feel intentional
@@FirstnameLastname-ju7em that makes sense, I guess I still don't get as bothered by it as some music fans who notice it immediately and may not like a song just because of a poor mix. But I'm not a harsh music critic , sounds weird but I think if I just the feel the vibe the artist is going for my imagination kinda patches up technical flaws that make the song not hit as hard for some people. Something like mixing has to be egregiously bad for me to notice it.
Dude I'm tired of this type of comments. Results that all the niggas on the court are mixing experts. The Danny voice drowns on the mix because his nasal voice, high peaks will melt with that kind of instrumental
I can see why people feel that way, but his vocals sound fine for the most part. There is some points where I wish I could hear him a bit better, but it feels intentional rather than a mistake imo.
Thats what i thought as well in my first listen and it just grew on me after a few more for some reason that i cant explain. Now I cant stop listening to the album lol
my only complaint is there isn't anywhere where they properly trade bars but I reckon its because the world isn't quite ready for that yet
they're saving that for vol 2
THE KINGDOM HEARTS SLANDER, that’s probably my favourite track on the whole album
real
Kingdom Hearts Key rivals The Black Seminole for song of the year for me so far.
I think Burfict, Jack Harlow Combo Meal, and the title track are all better than Kingdom Hearts Key however I totally agree with this take
@@coastercraziness lean beef patty one of the worst on the album imo. but it’s definitely still good but this album has many bangers

i think it got better further in the album, although he would benefit from being higher in the mix

it’s literally an artistic choice it’s not that bad I can still tell what he’s saying and it sounds AMAZING

AOTY!
U gonna be listening to 100 gecs? aoty for me
i will not stand for this kingdom hearts slander 😤😤
it's grown on me a lot haha. it's definitely not the worst on the album.
the I like jpegs tag appears on does this ski mask make me look fat I think
It appears on a lot more than that but he always cuts it down and plays with it
The mixing could be way better on Danny brown's vocals where the background noise completely drowns him out on multiple songs

did u record a reaction for the swans single?
nah, will probably react to the album tho
This duo may be the next Run The Jewels type outfit. This is very good for Hip Hop. I wonder what Dead End Hip Hip will think of it?
why dont you listen Lankum's new album? It is Irish folk.
or I want to recommand parannoul-After the night, korean shoegaze live album
Mid tbh
lol
the furthest thing from mid. It's not perfect but there's no way you can call this level of creativity mid lol
