David Cross was integral to my favorite King Crimson lineup in the mid 70s. I saw him play 4 times back in "the day" , including live at NYC Central Park. This is gold finding him again. I remember Jaxon playin with Van Der Graaf Generator. Memories! Thanks for the upload.
1970s Crimson had either a violinist or a sax player. Now we get to hear what the music would've sounded like with both! I like it. BTW the 2018 Cross & Jackson album *"Another Day"* is one of my favourite prog-related albums of the past 20 years or so. I highly recommend it.
Thank you Davie Cross ( that’s what my teen peers and me called you) you were the cool one as far as we were concerned. Yes Wetton, Bruford and Fripp were obviously immense but you brought the HEART to King Crimson. Saw you guys live early days .Changed us all. Still you amaze me.
Hey, how about Osanna playing George Martin's "Theme One" with David Jackson. Or, Marco Lo Muscio, John Hackett, and David playing "Theme One". Awesome.
David Jackson was never a flashy or technical sax player. Instead he is a highly innovative, creative and emotive one. With the rest of the band playing so fancy, Jackson's more basic style brings a welcome solid counter-balance. I think his style and sound suits this music very well.
Excellent concert from these old boys. Jaxon playing the court jester but is his usual brilliant self.

Hermoso !!! David es uno de mis saxofonistas predilectos, nadie maneja los volumenes como el, crecí tanto con KC como con VDGG
Brilliant, 👍 Van der Graaf are all the worse without David
