I love Mage Knight and Dungeon Alliance, and for a long time I was interested in Hoplomachus victorum, but i dont know how i feel about the dice chucking. Is it possible for a game to be tactially strategic at the same time it uses dice (randomness) to determine combat and other tests?
My main question is: would you recommend this game for a Dungeon Alliance fan? Also, what other games would you recommend for a Dungeon Alliance fan? I already have Mage Knight and Renegade, wich i think they gave me similar feelings of be playing deterministic games. Thanks!!
PS: I only play solo, so the solo modo should be good.

hmm. I think it is absolutely tactically strategic, but there just is more risk involved without knowing how things will shape up. I love dice and chaos though...
I do highly recommend you check out Kinfire Chronicles that might be up your alley (I have a playthrough series of it)
You might also like Tales from the Red Dragon Inn (also dice, but the dice always do at least some damage)
