Cool video! I didn't know about these shipping shields. Here in Brazil, most stores secure it a tad more, but the idea stays the same: - They do put cards in penny sleeves, sometimes one card in each, sometimes they get a looser/bigger sleeve and put a few cards in each, sometimes even all of the cards in it. - Most of stores then, before wrapping with the next step below, add a few tokens and/or those useless Advertisements cards that come in boosters and pad front and back of the cards bought (That's more common when they don't penny sleeve each, or when the store itself made tokens with their branding, which is cool) - Then, most stores also use a kind of plastic that format resembles an envelope but in the size of a card, and even has the 'lid' with those glueing straps, and they put all cards in there. - After that, they grab two very thick cardboard pieces and tapes the 4 sides, sandwiching the cards (kinda like the shipping shield but thicker) Or the store might even have a shipping shield made and styled with their branding so they use those instead. - The final steps depend on the store: Some wrap this pack with bubble plastic and put in a regular envelope; some put in envelopes which already ave the bubble sac inside, some even go further and put in small boxes (like, 1-2 fingers thick), tape the cards to a side and fill with bubble plastic/journal paper/etc. - ship with tracking number, and if the card is expensive, add insurance. They do that especially since our post service sucks big dinosaur balls _(yes, it is a quote from ergoraptor's megaman video from ages ago)_ and insurance makes sure at least they get their money back when parcels are """""lost""""" by the post (yes, stolen).
Good additional details! I find if you send cards with at least a penny sleeve in a harder type of case or sleeve like a toploader or cardboard sleeve, it usually arrives safely, but the postal service is never a guarantee. :)
Once it's in the envelope (in a top loader, in a penny sleeve), are there any requirements for shipping services? Or okay to send as a regular letter, nothing else needed?
Good question! Typically if the card is below 20 dollars or so in value, most people will send it using a cheaper tracking option like the 'ESUS' tracking from eBay OR just send it without tracking entirely. Most Magic players are honest, but in my experience, about 1/20 or so envelopes sent without tracking will claim they never received the card. If it's expensive, it's worth getting tracking to prove it was delivered. Good luck!

Always send with a tracking number if the card is rare or has value 👍
