Es war zwar nicht perfekt, aber wir konnten uns verstehen und uns gut unterhalten. Es ist immer wichtig mehr als eine Sprache zu sprechen. Man weißt nie wenn es nützlich wird!
Genau. Hier in den Süden sprechen viele Leute Deutsch. In Pomerode is die meist deusche Stadt Amerika Latina. Das laut die statistiken. Die Akzente und Dialekte sind auch am Tollesten.
I'm a gringo from the US who lived in Sao Paulo from 1988 to 1990. Since leaving I've tried to keep up with happenings in Brazil and Portuguese which I do speak and read. I could say so much about what I think of Brazil but I'll keep it short. I love Brazilians; they're very friendly. Brazil is a very diverse country ethnically as well as geographically and in so many other areas. Great food, very, very talented musicians, etc. It's only slightly smaller than the US. It also got many more slaves than the US which is of interest to me because I'm afro-American. Eu sempre terei saudade por brasil. Of course it has some problems but what country doesn't. I always miss Brazil. The last time I was there was 2006. Time to get back. Finally, I love their way of speaking Portuguese.
@@LNVACVAC I don't share your opinion As I said I lived there for 2 years and have been back 3 times. I had few real Brazilian friends but we are still friends some 30+ years later and I have not done much for them or them for me other than share friendship. Maybe your experiences have been different, but I don't go by your opinions on this when I have my own first hand experiences.. I will add that I lived outside the US for 25 years in 5 different countries and I would apply some of what you say to some other people in places I've been to. Maybe your opinion will change with time, if not, that's life and we know life can be hard. Good luck to you.

Für mich ist es sehr interessant zu beobachten, dass viele Menschen in Brasilien, die nur ganz wenig haben, schaffen es trotzdem ein Lächeln in Gesicht zu haben, sie finden anderen Wege mit den täglichen Problemen umzugehen anstatt sich darüber zu ärgern.
I am from Brazil, descendant of german family. I felt this cultural differences during all my life and definitely I’ve got lucky to be on both. In my Family we use to data all our family members, where they live, protocols, family memories at all and otherwise Brazil takes me to a relaxed style of life, friendly people, beautiful beaches e multi-cultural places. Happy to see all the knowledge about my country from people who probably had the same family education as me (except for the 7-1 😅)

I like that beyond the stereotypes, that aren't really unreasonable, the people interviewed seemed to be at least minimally well informed about Brasil, and were very respectful towards us. As a Brazilian, I can say that the embarassment of the 7x1 is nothing compared to the international shame that it has been having satan himself as the president of our country. May this reality change soon, and may you all feel safe to come visit Brasil again.
Ich liebe diesen Kanal so sehr. Die Themas sind echt immer so reich und mit entspannende Antworten, die meistens so lustig sind. Auch nicht zu vergessen, dass hier in Blumenau (Brasilien, Santa Catarina) die zweite grösste Oktoberfest sich stattfindet. Und es ist wirklich amüsamt. Es fällt mir so viele gute und schöne Sachen ein, als ich an Deutschland denke, weil ich viel über Deutschland gelernt habe vom dem Deutschkurs. Da fehlt es nur noch Deutschland zu besichtigen. I just want to say something about the political situation: Brazil is very famous about corruption and the worst cases happened during the left wing party called PT (Partido dos Trabalhadores / "Workers Party"). For the first time in Brazilian history Brazil has a right wing party with Bolsonaro as it´s president. Despite the pandemic problem, Brazil is finally showing very good economic results due to the new economic politics. So here is a humble tip: double check information sources. At least 90% of the Brazilian media supports left wing party. The information published about Brazil is not neutral at all! So if you are a tourist and is planning to visit Brazil, it would be a great experience!

Also, ich mag Brasilien und meine brasilianischen Freund*innen sehr, aber "Deutschland hat keine Kultur" und "die Südländer sind so durch Kultur vereint"? Interesting….many disliked Bolsonaro and labeled him as being evil or bad. Curious if this question was asked outside of Berlin, would the responses differ? Also, the lady at 9:12 said Brazil has culture while Germany doesn’t, but a number of videos ago, they had asked what people in Berlin think of people who live in Munich, and the Berlin people criticized the people living in Munich as being backwards and traditional for sticking to their wholesome and beautiful culture. When the question was reversed, the people in Munich gave mostly positive answers or avoided saying anything negative about Berlin.
I hate when I go to Europe and people start bringing those stupid stereotipes... no one here cares about samba! Few people listen to it! No one here cares about the canaval parade! No guys, we actually still remember that 7-1... we will never forget it, either. We just still cursing each other ( Lol ) cause we still trying to figure out what happened that day. I think that when it comes to politics, and as some people mentioned Bolsonaro, they should first study a little more and stop talking nonsense and especially stop believing everything they hear on TV or from Brazilians living here in Germany. Some people say ' Amazonas, Amazonas, Amazonas....' but if I show them a map, I doubt they even know where is the Amazon, in fact they don't even know the difference between 'Amazonas' and 'Amazonia'. They talk so much about the deforestation there, but they forget what they did with their own forests. The preserved area of the Amazon, which is still untouched, is larger than the whole of Europe (not including Russia of course). So, please, study before you go around talking nonsense. And finally, if you want to give an opinion about a country, read more about Brazil, it is not only about the Amazon, beach, carnival, soccer, and caipirinha.

Claramente a visão da maioria nesse video é o que a grande mídia vende sobre a imagem do Brasil. Fico triste, como brasileiro e com pai alemão nascido em Berlin. O brasileiro é um povo sério e trabalhador. Se os hábitos não idênticos aos alemães como pontualidade, não significa que não fazemos nosso trabalho e levamos a sério essa visão distorcida que muitos alemães tem de nós. Parem de achar que o Brazil é só festa e caos. Somos orgulhosos de nosso pais também e estamos crescendo como nação. Independente de quem está na presidência, o Brasil sempre está evoluindo e o seu povo também.
I believe there is another side when they say 'relaxed people. Brazilian are much more flexible, and this skill is very appreciated in business. I know a lot of Brazilian working in high positions because there is a mix of soft skills and flexibility.
Acho engraçado como é comum os gringos citarem a cultura do Brasil com tanta frequência. Apesar de sermos um país novo em comparação a maioria dos países europeus e asiáticos, o Brasil parece possuir um montante de cultura enorme, muito maior que o tempo de existência. Isso ainda contrasta bem com os EUA, que tem mais ou menos o mesmo tempo de existência e uma cultura um tanto plana e pouco diversificada. Acho que em partes tem muito a ver com o fato que o no Brasil as culturas imigrantes foram rapidamente se mesclando e formando características únicas que dão um jeito bem brasileiro a elas. É algo bem interessante. Apesar de novo, a cultura brasileira é tão extensa e variada que muitas vezes parece algo vindo de um país com mil ou mais anos, e não apenas a idade que temos.

What a nice video, thank you! I like that beyond the stereotypes, that aren't really unreasonable, the people interviewed seemed to be at least minimally well informed about Brasil, and were very respectful towards us. As a Brazilian, I can say that the embarassment of the 7x1 is nothing compared to the international shame that it has been having satan himself as the president of our country. May this reality change soon, and may you all feel safe to come visit Brasil again.

Ein andere komisch dinge, wir liebe Strand, aber Menschen dort wohnen gefallen es nicht, ich meine, es ist ganz normal, dass Einwohner im Küste wohne, gehen sie nicht so oft zur Strand, und Leute, dass weit von Strand wohne, gefallt mehr als ihre Einwohner.

I just want to say something about the political situation: Brazil is very famous about corruption and the worst cases happened during the left wing party called PT (Partido dos Trabalhadores / "Workers Party"). For the first time in Brazilian history Brazil has a right wing party with Bolsonaro as it´s president. Despite the pandemic problem, Brazil is finally showing very good economic results due to the new economic politics. So here is a humble tip: double check information sources. At least 90% of the Brazilian media supports left wing party. The information published about Brazil is not neutral at all! So if you are a tourist and is planning to visit Brazil, it would be a great experience!

Also, the lady at 9:12 said Brazil has culture while Germany doesn’t, but a number of videos ago, they had asked what people in Berlin think of people who live in Munich, and the Berlin people criticized the people living in Munich as being backwards and traditional for sticking to their wholesome and beautiful culture. When the question was reversed, the people in Munich gave mostly positive answers or avoided saying anything negative about Berlin.

Some people say ' Amazonas, Amazonas, Amazonas....' but if I show them a map, I doubt they even know where is the Amazon, in fact they don't even know the difference between 'Amazonas' and 'Amazonia'. They talk so much about the deforestation there, but they forget what they did with their own forests. The preserved area of the Amazon, which is still untouched, is larger than the whole of Europe (not including Russia of course). So, please, study before you go around talking nonsense. And finally, if you want to give an opinion about a country, read more about Brazil, it is not only about the Amazon, beach, carnival, soccer, and caipirinha.

Claramente a visão da maioria nesse video é o que a grande mídia vende sobre a imagem do Brasil. Fico triste, como brasileiro e com pai alemão nascido em Berlin. O brasileiro é um povo sério e trabalhador. Se os hábitos não idênticos aos alemães como pontualidade, não significa que não fazemos nosso trabalho e levamos a sério essa visão distorcida que muitos alemães tem de nós. Parem de achar que o Brazil é só festa e caos. Somos orgulhosos de nosso pais também e estamos crescendo como nação. Independente de quem está na presidência, o Brasil sempre está evoluindo e o seu povo também.
Os alemães vÊem todo o mundo da mesma forma. Pergunte o que eles pensam do sul da Europa e é a mesma coisa.
I believe there is another side when they say 'relaxed people. Brazilian are much more flexible, and this skill is very appreciated in business. I know a lot of Brazilian working in high positions because there is a mix of soft skills and flexibility.
Acho engraçado como é comum os gringos citarem a cultura do Brasil com tanta frequência. Apesar de sermos um país novo em comparação a maioria dos países europeus e asiáticos, o Brasil parece possuir um montante de cultura enorme, muito maior que o tempo de existência. Isso ainda contrasta bem com os EUA, que tem mais ou menos o mesmo tempo de existência e uma cultura um tanto plana e pouco diversificada. Acho que em partes tem muito a ver com o fato que o no Brasil as culturas imigrantes foram rapidamente se mesclando e formando características únicas que dão um jeito bem brasileiro a elas. É algo bem interessante. Apesar de novo, a cultura brasileira é tão extensa e variada que muitas vezes parece algo vindo de um país com mil ou mais anos, e não apenas a idade que temos.
