At the euro 80, he was great. The firt time i saw him, it was for a game against Netherland (world cup 78 qualifer). He played very well only beaten by Rene Van der Kerkoff (le poète). He was good too, against Argentina in 82.
That area with Pfaff, Schumacher, Dassayev or Van Breukelen to name but a few. Great goalkeepers and also there was a personality in the goal, someone to look out for.
