Sure, had a mistake in him at times but I talented keeper that will remembered in Turkey and Brazil as a legend.

Siempre fue subestimado este hombre, sin embargo jugó 3 mundiales para Brasil siendo crucial en la final del 94 y en semis del 98. Y nunca le vi cometer un error grosero, siempre tomaba la decisión más lógica que le presentara la jugada.
Taffarel era absurdo no gol. Goleiraço! Uma pena que nos tempos de hoje não jogaria, pois o que se pensa sobre goleiro hoje é que necessariamente ele precisa saber jogar com os pés. Não importa tanto que seja bom embaixo da trave, mas sim que saiba sair jogando. Infelizmente.

No era ningún fenómeno en la portería desde lo técnico; pero tenía un gran sentido de colocación, e intuición, y porque no mucha suerte. Es el arquero al que más comparo con Casillas; un 8 en todo, un 10 en nada. Muy regulares, cumplidores.
Discordo sobre a técnica, era muito técnico sim. Uma de suas principais virtudes é a colocação, e outra, um excelente pegador de pênaltis. A técnica dele, ele evitava ao máximo dar o rebote, parece-me.
