Great! Been waiting for this video to come on for some time now. I would love just like every other person who comments to win this bible. I have the NKJV but I've always been interested in owning a NASB but they are difficult to find here in South Africa. My father lost his job in Oct 2016 and because of that I was never able to go to seminary because we couldn't afford it. My mother was also diagnosed with lung cancer in April 2018 and given 6 months. Through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ she is still with us. I just wanted to add that part in as a testimony of how great our Lord is. I do find your content interesting since you not only review premium Bible's but ones which most people can afford and interesting ones. Please consider me. Thank you!

I love the opacity of the paper in this Bible, as well as the single column format with generous margins! Not to mention the gorgeous Comfort Print - and line-matched at that! What a beautiful text block. Zondervan has certainly revived the NASB '95 with these editions! Certainly a fantastic all-around Bible. I would love to own one of these for both deep study and daily reading - the single column format along with the marginal references allow for both! In my opinion one of the main issues of a bible is that one plainly should love it. Because where your treasure is, your heart will be. And your time as well. Better with a Bible you love and read a lot, than a Bible residing on the shelf.
For this reason I will mention what I find lovable about this Bible.
First of all the cover has in my opinion the perfect brown color for a Bible. And with a perfect matching sawing around the edge. It’s gorgeous. Even though it’s got imitation leather, this imitation leather seem just so nice, both in grain and shades of color. It also seem so flexible and nice. And the gold gilding on the page edge is the most shining. The gold printing on the spine is also something that would make this Bible stand out. The simple but very clear “Holy Bible” along with just the information about the version and producer is just what you want to see.
The pattern of the paste down is something not so often to see in a Bible like this, and in my opinion, tasteful.
Another feature I find so very nice is the golden gilt line perfectly following the stitching around the inside edge when opening the Bible cover. When reading the Bible, one will always see this nice feature. I like it.
I’m not sure why, but I like thick Bibles. Not thin ones. It’s just something about the feeling of having something in your hand that you can dig into forever. With 1.5/8” thickness you get exactly this feeling, and it’s still handy.
When it comes to ribbons one can never in my opinion get enough of such. But at least two in nice looking colors is very nice.
The slightly yellowish, opaque 36 gsm bible paper is nothing but perfect for a quality Bible. Along with the line matching it looks just so sweet on the eye.
On a glance, the look at the text seem so clean and tidy, and same time it has a verse by verse arrangement that makes it easy to look up bible passages. I like that. The slightly use of color features also makes it so tasteful. And headings in the text is also a feature I find lovable. It kinda breaks up the text a little and makes things easier to find.
The most important quality of a Bible is for me readability. This Bible proves that Bibles can be printed in China and still have black, even, quality print. This text seem large and clear, nice space between the lines, nice word spacing, and a little roundish letters that I like, very easy on the eye all together. It actually seem perfectly done.
One final feature I appreciate so much about a Bible is clues from the producer of intentions behind the production. An understanding of scripture being food for everyday use in the walk with The Lord. Not just theoretic material. This Bible doesn’t have a huge load of study material, but what it’s got beside the nicely applied references, is exactly those helpful features placed in the back. Scriptures for different life situations and occasions. Very nice.
If I would be in the race for a Bible like this, it would be that I find it gorgeous. It would also be nice try reading a Bible with single column format. And lastly it would be nice try reading this translation beside the KJV that I’m used to. This Bible is gorgeous.

I like the “WHAT TO READ WHEN” and “PROMISES” pages the most in this Bible. I’m planning on giving a Bible to my brother and sister to share and I think these pages will be really useful for them. As well as the translation since it seems like a easier read for them. They’re struggling with faith right now and I think if I could give them a Bible and let them read it together it could help them improve there faith. Especially, with the huge event going around the world right now. I also “liked” your Facebook page and thanks for the reviews! Wow 🤩 they really did add premium features to this Bible. Never seen art gilding on an imitation leather Bible before. I love that this one doesn’t have all the ghosting like the Foundation Publications one has. Looks like an incredible Bible. If I won I’d have it shipped to a friend who lives in South America who has a hard time getting Bibles. Thank you for another great review and for blessing another person with this Bible. I really appreciate Zondervan for making some really great NASB Bibles. I have Zondervan's Parallel Bible with the NIV, KJV, NASB, and Amplified translations and that has been a great reference Bible for me to use. Ever since Thomas Nelson and Zondervan have teamed up with 2K Denmark though to create the Comfort Type print for Bibles, even Bibles like this one feel the same quality as an heirloom/premium Bible. I hope other publishers start to follow their example.
I too own The Comparative Study Bible. KJV, AMP, NASB, NIV bonded leather printed in 1984.
I love the look of the comfort print. I’ve never had a bible with that print, but from pictures/ videos that I’ve seen of it, it just seems like it would be really easy to read for a long length of time. I’d love to win this bible because NASB is my absolute favorite translation- it’s just a joy to read from. I also love the font size of this bible and the margin (I’m a notetaker). Seems like a great bible in every way!

I really like that Zondervan is offering it in the leather-look edition at half the price of the premium edition, while retaining the other high quality features (i.e. premium text block, 36 gsm paper, art gliting, etc.). Looks like it would be very good for personal study and for use at church (my pastor preaches from the NASB).

I want this bible to study the scriptures from. This is my favorite translation. It would know doubt become my the one. I love Single column. I love the wide margins. I know that with time the Bible gilding would fade and other things might happen as well but it would give it character and let people know that someone is really in the scriptures. I also liked your Facebook page. I even liked the beautiful Dog. I love the shade of brown they used and I liked the ribbons to. Anyone who gets this bible will be blessed.

Besides my wish to have all the translators notes, I wish the references would have been placed in the gutter and left the blank wide margin free right next to the biblical text. It annoys me to write my notes and have those references in the middle of the way, other than that I am loving it. This paper takes well my highlighters (Sharpie) and Micron pens no problem.

I like this bible because it has the single column formatting I enjoy, its big and easy to read, and it has lots of references and ample room for notes. Also, I think this would a be a great bible to have to pass to my future generations.

This Bible would replace my single column wide margin NASB for School. I have an original Lockman SCWM like you showed, that I love for the setup but the ghosting is irritating. With quality paper and better font? WOW. It would be perfect for my seminary. It would even work if I went further in school to get a Masters degree.
Good morning! I would like to win this Bible actually for my husbands 45th birthday that is on April 30th.
For many years he has been using an NIV Bible. Which worked wonderfully until we got a new pastor at our church that uses the NASB and/or the KJV so it is hard for my husband to follow along often times.
Also my husband has joined a men's Bible study group where all the men have either a NASB translation or a KJV/NKJV and it is hard for my husband to follow along.
My husband mentioned that he does in fact like the NASB.
So I think this Bible would be a great Bible for him especially because of the crisp writing, the space for notes during the Bible study, he can follow along easier with the other men & in church and not lose his place or focus plus I think he was hinting around for a different Bible. LoL

I’m a little bummed about it not having all the translators notes, but other than that, it really is a very nice bible for a “non-premium” edition. This does make me wonder...is Zondervan in business somehow with Thomas Nelson? This reminds me a whole lot of the Classic VBV in NKJV. Zondervan definitely stepped it up with the art guilding vs the Nelson Classic VBV, I also like the study helps in the back of the Zondervan. Again.....thank you so much!

A truly well designed and well thought out Bible. I like how it lays flat and the print looks easy on the eyes. I love the NASB translation. My own NASB Bible was a gift in 1988. It’s seen better days so it would be lovely to have the updated ‘95 version with the wide margins for making notes. Another great review, thank you for your faithfulness😊

Thank you for reviewing this. I've been looking at it for when it was first announced. I love the NASB due to the fact the verses and quotes in the NT that are sourced from the OT are upper case. This is the only translation I've found that referenced the OT chs/verses Jesus used to rebuke Satan three times during his 40-day trial. Loved all your reviews to date. I'm curious. You mentioned that it doesn't have the footnotes on the margin. Perhaps there were royalty fee is lower because of not using the footnotes
Love it! I’m a seminary student and NASB is my favorite translation. I have an old worn out NASB that desperately needs replacing. I have been in the market for purchasing one and this one is beautifully made.
My only New American Standard is a Pew Bible. Black hardcover I purchase back in Bible School. 1984 and a type font is bold but tiny

That is an amazing bible, the translators notes are important but that ghosting like you said, yikes. 10.5 and Comfort Print is easy on these eyes. liked and shared.

What a fantastic bible! I've never read the NASB translation before but I keep hearing it is the best. I would love to win this bible! I love that it has comfort print and I really want to read all the helps in the back of the bible. I love the maps!
Lots of things I like about this Bible: I love the quality of this Bible, everything just seems so premium for the particular price point of that Bible. But, the second thing I really like about it how it’s a single column / verses by verse version, for me the “readability experience” is a bit “smoother” and more pleasant.
I would love to win this Bible because my current Bible has fallen apart at the seems. The binding is completely removed :( I read out my “broken” NASB Bible on a daily basis and take it to church etc, it would be great to have a new one.

This is such a beautiful Bible. If I had a Bible like this I would take advantage of the wide margin and add it to my heirloom collection. I have 4 kids so I want a wide margin to be handed to each kid when I go home. Each Bible will be specific to that child will have prayers and affirms for them. Encouragements first life’s milestones. I am a first generation Christian, I want to give my kids something that will be passed for generations to come. I am 14 years old and have recently started to dive deeper into gods word. Right now I have two entry level bibles but I would love if I could try out a bible like this that is a higher quality bible and I would love to read the NASB translation because my bibles are ESV translations and NIV. I really enjoy my ESV translation and I know that lots of people who like the ESV translations also like the NASB translation

I've only recently discovered the NASB and am enjoying it immensely. This bible's quality appears to be a step up from the NASB I'm using, which has ghosting. This is a really nice edition. I agree with you on the comfort print. It is so easy on the eyes, especially good when reading for longer periods of time. Charles Stanley is a proponent of the NASB, (not exclusively but he uses it in a lot of his publications). Thanks for doing this review.
Great looking NASB. As a preacher I love the NASB as a study tool because it is faithful to the original. With that said I have noticed the NIV single column reference has a more exhaustive reference system. Probably the reason for this was because the NIV just seems to clutered at timeless. Though the two tone blue box does help.
Fantastic review. The NASB has been my translation of choice for a long time due to its merits, but the "ease of reading" options (ie, my eyes are mature and tired!) are generally limited, and this edition ticks a bunch of boxes for what I've been wanting to see for a long time. Plus, it is great to see so many premium options offered on a much more affordable edition! If I were to win this, it would replace my old single column version as my every day carry.
I love the NASB and feel it is one of the best translations out there. Zondervan did a wonderful job on making this Bible look like a premium but without the premium price tag, that is super impressive if you ask me. I am not entering for myself but for a pastor friend overseas and if by some miracle I win I’d give you his address to send it to, he doesn’t have access to a Bible like this and it would be a blessing for him to have a nicer Bible to preach from. His is old and worn but is stunning because it’s obvious it has been well used and loved. If I don’t win then I still thank you for offering another great giveaway. This is such a beautiful Bible! I really enjoy the layout and the ease of readability. I also really enjoy the imitation leather, I have a ESV like that and I almost prefer it. I have been looking for a NASB translation to read.

This bible is just stunning😢 so gorgeous. It looks like a premium!
Well done bible. I'd like to win this Bible because I may never have another chance to own one of these bibles, especially with the update that is coming up which I understand will be gender inclusive and not as literal as it was before which would defeat the purpose of having an NASB. Also a few days ago I heard that Foundation Publication is giving John McArthur and the Masters Seminary license to redo the 1995 to make it more literal which McArthur says will be called Legacy Standard Bible (LBS). I'm not sure what's happening at Foundation, but that just make me want to win this Bible even more than ever because shortly they may not be available anymore. These bibles are not sold in Jamaica, so this may be my last chance to own it. Furthermore shipping cost is prohibitive, so even if I could find the cost of the Bible, I may not be able to pay for the cost of shipping (Amazon.com and Christianbook.com ships to Jamaica) which can be more than the cost of the Bible itself at times. Even though it doesn't have all the translation notes, I'd be happy with it, I'd make my own notes myself. Many people have ligitimate reasons why they'd want to win this Bible, like myself, so I know you'll have a tough decision to make, but I hope when it's all over I'm the one chosen.

I am a preacher and have been thinking about switching back to the NASB. This Bible is my dream Bible for preaching and I which it was the layout the ESV Preaching Bible had done.

Beautiful!!! This will be the first year anniversary of my membership into the body of Christ. My eyes have began to fade on account of the tergium(keep me in your mighty prayers). That comfort print looks like one could read Psalms 119 en Toto in one setting!! The two colors seem to create some sort of 3D illusion that keeps your eyes focused? That is unfortunate about the references. I really indulge in jumping all over the place with them. How much are those lockman full references ones used? Thanks for your consideration!

This is a lovely bible! NASB is my favorite translation, if I won this bible would become my daily reader, I think the single column and other quality features would be great for that. Thanks for another fantastic review! Edited to add: on further thought I would actually gift this to a friend.
I love the paper quality and overall quality of printing. Some pastors I admire recommend the NASB because of the word-for-word translation and I do not have a copy. I have also liked your Facebook page. Great review!
Ah that is a pity about the absence of the translation notes.... The NASB reads a bit awkwardly for me the last time I tried, and I am mainly going to get one for all the notes. Thank you!

This bible is beautiful! Love the NASB as a translation, but really like quality paper and wide edges. As a pastor this would be great to use as a preaching bible to have my notes included! Would be neat to win it :)

This Bible is beautiful. I think it would be perfect as a gift for a man or anyone who likes a classic look. I tend to give a lot of Bibles away myself, and the few I've kept are ALL single-column. They're incredibly readable.
