i saw number of videos on this bible but somehow the lighting and the clarity of your video is spot on to see the font and page quality so clear. thank you!
Good video! Glad you’re back! Love the blind stamping, but the cover is too thin showing the outline of the perimeter fold/reinforcement around the outside of the cover. Don’t like that at all. I want to like the SCR so bad, but I don’t like the taking up of the margin (I want that area to write in), and I still don’t like the text so far toward the gutter, while less used references out on the side. Would rather have ICR.
Thanks! I get the frustration with the references in the margin. At least this Bible is thin enough that the gutter opens up a bit which helps keep the text from getting swallowed. The cover is about the same thickness as your average imitation leather. I think they used a thinner card stock for the liner
I haven’t seen the genuine leather in person, but honestly I think both are going to last about the same amount of time. The prime editions will last the longest but of course they’re much more expensive. The leathertex have come a long way in durability and this one is really floppy.
Well, it is nice. I'll probably get the prime version. I must say though that their 2002 SCR had text justification and a vertical line to separate references which made it much nicer in my opinion. At this point, Lockman should add it to their statement of faith that they don't believe in the justification of text. Looking at their recent publications, they seem to be very dogmatic about it.
I'm really liking the Bibles Lockman has been putting out recently.
They really have been turning out some great editions!

Glad it helped!
The Zondervan has really glossy paper and does not have the full set of footnotes.

Would you recommend the leathertex or the genuine leather?

I do like justified columns more, though some people like these better. Justified just looks cleaner to me.
What was the Bible you compared it to? The one containing references on the bottom of the page
Lockman NASB wide margin reference.
@@biblecornerreviews Any chance they have a 1995 version of this layout?
Not in that layout unfortunately.
