Do you have to drain the coolant first?
No
the thermostat failed on a ten year old car? Still have my original one on my 2007 Kia
Yes it failed
I replaced mine on my 2012 kia optima sx turbo at 111,000 miles, and now at 155,000 miles its failed again and yes I use OEM parts.
@@danielwelter517 how are you doing on coolant flush/changes? Wonder if that had anything to do with the failures
