    Great Video Coach and I like how you emphasize not to overtrain the nervous system when trying to adapt too fast.
    I have fallen guilty of that in the past especially after an injury I am too eager to "Catch Up" all the time I missed and I end up overtraining with too many "High Intesity" exersices like numerous 100% max Sprints, Deadlifts etc without enough recovery.
    I ended up with more nagging injuries and with me I also notice my sleep gets worse and my anxious levels go through the roof. Been playing soccer for 35 years and weight training for 30, and still learning lots from people like you. Keep up the great work.

    Hey Coach! Are these examples for one time training in a week. Example the dumbell bench press is it trained only once a week? Or can you use adapting.

    Hey Armas, what happens after week 4 of the strength block? How do we continue progressing a routine like that? Also how many times a week should the strength routine be done?

    For the 40 yd shuttles, do you keep on increasing the sets or do you stop at 5 and maintain

      I stop at five. But to be honest, we rarely even reach five.
      Instead, we spread of the sessions out throughout the week to get more volume, enhance performance, and reduce injuries .

    what are your thoughts on functional training from Michael Boyle for an intermediate footballer in mid 20s? it's different to the strength and conditioning you propose

    If I usually do legs two days per week in season, do you think it would make sense to do mostly strength on one day then the 2nd leg day - ploy,explosive and speed work ?

      It will be best to mix all of them together instead of increasing your chances of fatiguing one aspect

    I have a question, other bodybuilding coaches use warm up sets....like before going all in for your bench press , they will have 2 sets at 60% & 70%. Does this also apply for footballers?

      Regardless of the percentage you should always warm up

    Hlo Coach,
    Im a 19 year old apiring footballer in canada and yesterday I got diagnosed with tarsal coalition in my both feet,
    and doctor said i will be able to play but chances of you playing at elite levels are very very low, because he said you are an injured athlete and no one will pick you,
    idk why after hearing this, Im thinking that my life is destroyed and nothing is left,
    he said it will 6 months of recovery
    and also he mentioned that it will be your luck if you played at elite level,
    plz give any suggestions brther
