this band needs way more popularity they have been killing in since there first ep. if you're new I recommend you listen to the album satori. espicaly the songs speak to me and ivy.
They've been killing it since their first album. Not many people have heard "We Speak" which is a shame, it's a pretty special album. Killer and Nightlife are highlights for me.
Ah good old "We Speak", they gave me a copy when I flew out to california in 2011 to see em. Theyd been killing it way before then though, Hearts and Spades is still one of my favoritr songs by them and i hate that ive never seen it live
I've cried to this song so much throughout a challenging relationship and I pictured a dark video to bring out the mood but I actually really love the optimistic twist. Thanks for making us see the good side of a bad breakup 💖
@@thomascouch3918 LMAO I posted this the same day the video came out my dude. It was merely a description of how I related, nobody asked you to feel the same way
@@ratthot4728 Yes, it’s going to be hard. These guys were a huge part of my teenage years. I’m 26 right now and on the road to 30. Someone please stop the clock 😭.
I've never listened to I The Mighty before and i'm kicking myself for not listening to them sooner! They are so good!! And I love this song and music video. The ending is hilarious!
I will be forever grateful for this song. Reminds me of this girl I met and I actually think she was my soul mate but I screwed up something fierce. Moral of the story kids don’t settle from some rock when there was a diamond in front of you the entire time.
I just watched Picturesque and this came up. I already know the lyrics. Also the lead singer of Hands Like Houses? YAS. I have no clue who the first cameo is
the singer of hands like houses was in the last video with Tillian so this is his second cameo but second video also lol I suggest you watch that video too cause that songs firrreeeee
This song really means a lot to me. I just lost a friend recently for practically just being there for them too much. They cut me out of their life with no warning at all. But listening to this song often helps me get by. Thank you I the mighty for creating this song in a tough time for me. \m/ You guys are awesome
When listening to this song with headphones on, there is definitely a audio track playing throughout the entire thing of people talking. Does anyone else hear it? I never heard it until I used airpods. It freaked me out thinking someone was in my house but finally realized its in the song.
damn leave it to I the mighty to have a song about an over obsessed ex and turn it into a message about self care and love!! This is why i will always love them!
Never even heard of this band. Ionly came across it because it was in my recommendations. But damn, not only is the song good. But the video was fucking GENIUS! I admire Robyn August vision for this video. Great job to everyone involved in this.
i love this band so much that i dont know how to tell this, pet names is my favorite song and this video gave me happiness, in the end at "find someone new" makes me happy, but, is super hard move on, sometimes...
It is really funny because when this song came up I was dealing with a terrible breakup and, I've got a super serious and dramathic vibe about this song but, when they released this music video I resignificated the whole song. I never expected to rediscover this track on a new level. it's awesome. 🖤
This song was one of the few from the album that I had some issues with, regarding the lyrics, because they seem kinda obsessive and creey, but the music video takes a lot of the edge off and adds a lot of positivity! I'm really happy with how it turned out!
I saw them last year in Bochum for just 30 minutes (movement tour) we just drove that 2 hour drive for 30 minutes of i the mighty and it was definitly worth it. I would love to see those guys more often in germany but somehow they kinda not coming that often around here :( I even think it was their first time in germany as far as I noted it...

This song has been out for like two months... quit being so goddamn dramatic.

Why is this literally such an accurate representation of the funny and amazing people ITM are, I’m in love!
"Talk to someone....or just Blake dressed like a professor" is the best part.
I was literally about to comment
that xD

I the Mighty is pure scripture. Emotion at it’s finest.
These guys still helping me and somewhat guiding me along life ❤

The singer from Hands Like Houses.
Trenton Woodley.

This band does nothing but get better with every record. I didn't think that was possible as they are already one of the best around...
Why was Brent falling in the pool so satisfying?

THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING AND DESERVE SO MUCH MORE RECOGNITION
I'm glad to see this got a music video. It was a solid track. hopefully, will give the band further recognition.
The drums at 3:45 are so good. Jamming out to this song so much recently!
Dude I'm listening to this when I'm halfway asleep and that "STOP" at 3:58 scared the shit outta me
