As a certified mulligan provider I can say one of the most important aspects of what I gained from the courses was the ability to “diagnose” mechanical problems much more accurately. Nobody does mechanical diagnosis better than Mulligan Courses. Physical Therapists in the US should all learn Mulligan just to understand how to “fiddle” with mechanics to help their patients. Countless patients of mine have avoided MRI’s just by changing simple movement patterns. I don’t use Mulligan techniques exclusively for everything, but I do use the principles from the course to change lives every day….
I use mostly Mulligan techniques only for Cervical Spine and for all other i use Kaltenborn/Evjent.
