Best podcast ever! So thoughtful and gentle about “reentry” after COVID isolation. Due to asthma, I have been carefully isolating. Now I am flying to my granddaughters graduation, and find myself almost panicking. Your description of reentry been of great help. Thank you so much Love to all of you
I had missed this episode, and so happy to be catching up again. Caitlin and Jackie it so good to see you together. I have wanted to knit the linen quill wrap since the first time you introduced it, and every time you have shown it. And I have looked at the colors over and over. I have been able to control my desire to purchase it, it seems so beautiful. Today, as I watched, you had the gorgeous sweater you had knit with your extra linen quill, I once again am fighting with myself to control my yarn envy; for the shawl and the sweater! I love the shawl Caitlin is knitting, and will have to look at it, also. Sally might understand, my attention has been more focused on my quilting recently. I do not do the beautiful hand quilting she does, and I am making large quilts, full, queen, and larger and have them quilted for me. Thus far from late 2020 to today(8/1/21), I have approximately 8 quilts completed (4 gifted), 4 at the quilter, 4 ready to be quilted, 1 being pieced, and 2 cut, plus plans and fabric for about 12 more 😬🤯🥰 I have a prayer shawl always in progress for our local hospice house, but my yarn is not getting the attention it deserves 😢. Thanks for a lovely afternoon watching you two, together 💛
Jackie on a stylish walk is living poetry in motion. Drooling over your earrings & Bright 🥰🌺. Caitlyn OMG, your beautiful eyes just sparkle & pop against the green yarns...perfection! Looking forward to following you on your floral design journey! ❤️❤️❤️
Just got more linen quill to knit this sweater by Paula. I’ve knitted 4 patterns from her so far and they are all amazing and love the fit! Yours is stunning Jackie! Mine will be in green as well, Caitlin! But another shade of green! You inspired me to make it in green ❤️
You are the sweetest people! I am over the moon!!! Oh my!!! I also have a dark green Linen Quill to make one for myself! But after seeing yours in pink... 🌸💗
I am knitting Brienne Moody's Menders cardigan for my daughter...love her patterns. Great pod....I enjoyed every moment and am gently making my way back into the world.
What a joy to have nearly two hours to sit and knit with y'all this morning. You had me laughing, you had me working on my Junko project, you had me ordering yarn for a half and half wrap - not sure if you are a wonderful or terrible or terribly wonderful influence. Thank you for keeping me company none the less!
Such a great podcast!! Very consoling how you both expressed so honestly and eloquently the difficulty of societal renter. In London we are still not fully reopened and when out there is a surreal disturbing somewhat exhausting quality that you nailed spot on. As usual I am also inspired with a new project by you as well . So excited to hear about the floral journey- they are divine❤️🌸❤️🌸
My stomach is grumbling, too! What a perfect week together. Peonies, farmers market breakfast, risotto, linen quill, fun lipsticks, Liberty of London, talks of garden walks… sounds like a perfect adult camp of Fabulous Fiber & Food. I joke about wanting an adult camp weekend. (Month, who am I kidding?) I am seriously considering Bright sweater as my next knit, but maybe Paula’s pullover instead. I’ve done the Paint Pail Pullover in linen quill, and now midway through the Nature’s Throw in linen quill. (That’s my half and half!) I’ve gotta muscle through this Noctuidae. 🦋 Hmm. Love seeing you girls!
I’ve been watching you for about 30 minutes so far and I just HAD to share this with you. It’s Lord Byron. My very chains and I grew friends, So much a long communion tends To make us What we are; even I Regain’d my freedom with a sigh. It’ll take time to adjust…
I love the pop of neon Jackie in your Half & Half!!! 😍 I’ve been knitting on mine and I stupidly made a mistake on one of the wrap/turns 😩😬 I haven’t a clue what I’ve done but I think I’ve salvaged it and I’m not going to stress about it because once it’s on I don’t think you would notice. Love the Daily Pullover - the shade is stunning! x
Reentry turning out to be difficult has been a big surprise for me. I think it has caught a lot of us off guard. It’s wonderful to know we are not alone.

It’s such fun to join you two for a little bit of the special weekend joy of knitting with friends! Thank you for inviting us into the playfulness! 💐 (And if Caitlin doesn’t need your assistance, Jackie, can you come here and help me pick out my lipstick!?💋I am on the hunt for a perfect colour.) Congratulations on your job, Caitlin! Absolutely delighted for you.💖
First time catching your podcast. I think it was Needles At The Ready that mentioned you. What a delight! I will be tuning in again! Loved the inspiration around linen quill and Sally’s hexi project sounds amazing! Thank you!
I have been wanted to update my wardrobe and I really loved your blouse/top on the August 5, 2020 of the CadyJax with Debbie...Jackie you were in Pittsburgh...it was a white cotton top with tiers of ruched fabric and pearl buttons. Since you all cover brands of your beautiful jewelry; and you share the Brand of your top. I have tried to do some searching for it but could not seem to find one like it. Thank you. Love your podcast...and those peonies!!!
Thank you for replying to me. I will take your suggestion regarding the yarn. I would appreciate your input on which needles you feel are the best to purchase.
Lisa R ! I ordered two shawls worth ( during the sale :) one of my picks was same honey pink/ pink you chose . I didn't feel the colors were doing much as a shawl combo - As a knit v top - it's gorgeous under the honey pink 💕😊 Such a great look - serendipity at its best !
I'm knitting a half and half triangles cat blanket, to use up a stash yarn and try this pattern out. I am trying to do a yarn fast until my birthday (September), could you hold off on the next KAL until then? (ha ha)
I use my ipad for patterns. I take a picture (its date stamped automatically) of where I am from the PDF download, then edit it and make notes using Mark Up. Save the pic when when I'm through for the day and then its ready to go for next time. Saves a tree and printer costs!

I love your dress Caitlin, and your new haircut. You both look lovely! Enjoyed the podcast very much. You wouldn't happen to know the episode number where viewers wrote in with their favorite lipstick colors? Thank you for your thoughts on re-entry which is something I have been dealing with. So Jackie, because of you, I spent money yesterday: bought the CT lipstick you mentioned. Not to mention, I am on my second Half Triangle now with Linen Quill. Caitlin, best wishes for your new job. You will love it I'm sure! Sally is such a lovely elegant person with a big heart. Love listening to her. Pretty in pink too. You two love, bicker, share, understand, know each other's weaknesses, etc. like sisters! You really are sisters of the heart...
Very enjoyable - and thought provoking. I have a big b-day coming this August too - 20 years bigger than yours, Jackie - and it really feels like a "thing." The gardeners among us will all want to know what variety of peony that is!
I love watching you girls! You are so inspiring ! I love the way you track your rows & repeats! What stitch markers are you using? Your Coral Moonstruck shawl is breathtaking but I am in Canada and can’t find that yarn anywhere! I will have to pop in to The Knitting Loft and see what they have that compares. Thanks!
I really thought The linen quill would bother my skin and though I loved seeing how beautiful it was in all your wraps I resisted it until now. Your Daily Pullover is so gorgeous I had to order the yarn for it I'm pleasantly surprised that the alpaca in the yarn is not bothering me. Jackie, did you go with the gauge the pattern called for or another to achieve a looser fit? Wonderful podcast.
If I change gauge I write it on my Ravelry notes. I am a loose knitter, I believe I sized down on needles to get pattern gauge. No mods, except sleeve. Paula had nice ease built in.
Hi u 3 wonderful women, I was wondering, with all your knitting how many jumpers and shawls do u own? Xxx PS Jackie, I, too, am feeling stressed in this pandemic.
