To those who ask "Why is that hatch opened on landing and take-off"? The F-35B's aft-hinged aerodynamic fairing conforms to the fuselage shape during forward flight, and covers the vertical lift fan. During transition from forward flight to hover or vertical flight, the fairing hinges upward and diverts airflow into the lift-fan, which pumps the air downward. On the fuselage behind the fairing are a pair of auxiliary inlet covers for the aircraft's (main) engine, to offset disturbed airflow to the main engine during V/STOL.

The F-35: a defective aircraft? The entry into service of the F-35 within the American Air Force and in other purchasing countries is a real soap opera, as Lockheed Martin fighters accumulate the problems. In 2018, the HASC already alerted, in a report to the American Congress subsequently made public, on the low operational range of the F-35C. The radius of action of this navalized version of the F-35 (with take-off by catapult and landing by arresting strands) was so small that it was necessary to bring the aircraft carriers closer to their target, until they were put at range of enemy missiles... With its flight range of "only" 670 nautical miles (1,240 km), the aircraft is considered ineffective if the aircraft carrier is more than 1,800 km from a target. But the naval version of the F-35 is not the only one to be criticized for its technical and logistical problems, the other two models of the aircraft, the F-35A (with conventional take-off and landing) and the F-35B ( short take-off and vertical landing) also encountering a lot of difficulties: of the 857 failures still listed in July 2021, only 165 were in the process of being resolved, while seven "critical" category 1 problems were still identified, which could have an impact during the accomplishment of a mission. Laura Seal, spokesperson for the Joint Program Office of the F-35, devoted to the study and design of the capabilities of fighter aircraft, declared at the same time that all the defects could not be revealed publicly, arguing that such information would endanger the pilots.

Very good! From in Kazakstan 💪🙂👍
1:40 I'm proud that the Turk flag is there. Bayrağımızın oraada olması gurur verici. 6:20
I would love to have a game that uses this fighter.
Ace Combat 7 has the F-35C which is the carrier variant. I'm pretty sure Ace Combat: Assault Horizon has the F-35B.
I know one, it's called "Life"
That's sarcastic.
Beautiful! Taiwan needs F35B.
Taiwán need be anexion for homeland China
I have never seen such a huge amount of democracy in a one single 10 minutes video.
amazing video. I'm your fan +👍🔔
A thing of beauty, take off and landing.
Proud to be an american.
BF4 remastered stealth jet gameplay
Incredible, Thank you for your share.
LOL I didn't think I'd live long enough to see an F-35 in action
these "STOL" f-35's make these heli carriers much more dangerous. Huge capability .
Imagine a submarine carrier!
about stolen Russian technology of vertical take-off and landing
@@ДмитрийКруглов-л5е are you blind Russia steals the VTOL technologies from USA and UK
@@ДмитрийКруглов-л5е Russian technology? Britain and US developed VTOL in the 1950's. Russia has always played catch-up where technology is involved. Putin has you all brainwashed into thinking everything Russian is great. seriously...
@@ДмитрийКруглов-л5е Thats the problem with Russian sheeple, only know what Putin wants you to know. Keep the people ignorant and they will follow. haha.
most beautiful plane.....no run way baby....
Wrong!!!!
F-22 is the most beautiful one!!
F-35 is just an ugly duck!!
Dereenaldo Ambun 😱😱😱 debatable imho
4: 15 . this video is the essence of F35. ha. ha. ha. 80% of fuel consumption. this is takeoff and landing. this same need to so fuck all. forcing poor NATO to buy this vomit.))) well, take one bomb or a couple of missiles. well fly away with her to 200km (more kerosene over) what????? why is it needed?! Russia has long refused to do so. these planes are not a target! no need. again. reinvent the wheel. where you were taught. my country was (and is) a teacher! we you same . for your money. in space deliver! Russia is the first in everything! facts are stubborn! leave the job to Hollywood and CNS. making you idiots again and again! everyone knows-the Americans were not on the moon! country liars and honest bastards!

Wow very good nice. I'm your fan+👍🔔
I so much appreciate our men and women in the armed forces. As long as this technology isn't used against. The people of the US.
Thunderbirds are Go.
wonder what kind of goodies hide behind those panels that they aren't showing us. mattis said he wouldn't give our secrets away
Каюсь, тоже хотел бы полетать на нём!
Wow! Very Good
Superb capture!
Just a thought - that big intake doors gotta have some strong hinges - like driving at 100mph on the motorway with your hood up !!
MARINES fly both the "B" and "C" model F-35. augment Navy squadrons on 'big" carriers
The Marines do NOT augment Navy squadrons and NEVER have. What they DO augment is the Carrier Air Wing.
@@karlchilders5420 must be a winger.
@@tj6670 You do understand the difference in what I pointed out compared to what was being suggested, yes? Other than pilot exchange programs, the Marines don't fill their TO&E with officers from other branches of the military, and neither does the US Navy. Entire squadrons of Marines deploy for blue water ops with the Carrier Air Wings. They do this with the C model Hornet and the F-35 B and C. The D model Hornet doesn't deploy to the carrier by agreement. Harriers deploy to other ships, not our aircraft carriers.
Muito bacana, show!!!
great footage
The B variant outcools the A and C one by 10000000 times
I just love it. It has stable landing😘
As always, only a beautiful picture.. In combat, any loss of such a machine is almost irreplaceable, as" on the knee " it can not be repaired. From missiles too, not to leave, the speed of all above, the preparation for war goes into space...
