I can accept Kay taking out an unarmoured enemy with her fists, but a stormtrooper! Hell no! She would shatter every bone from her hand and wrist, and the trooper would barely feel a thing. Could they seriously not give her a melee weapon? Something as simple as a taser would be fine.
No kidding. They even gave her a stun gun and could've expanded on that functionality, but I think brutish strength is a requirement of the modern troon girl boss.

See they've got a whole lot of great games like Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Steep and at least three fifths of the Assassin's Creed franchise are pretty damn good but man has their quality dropped lately.

Unfortunately though, they didn't get enough time to actually put in all the features they wanted and were rushed.

Funny, remember during my game design course, our profs were promoting Ubisoft as being a potential hire; but only by referral/networking, or winning game jams for the chance to be hired. This told me two things: they don't know what they're doing so they have to steal work from others in the game jams to repurpose for their work (EA has been caught doing this kind of shite with Indie devs). Second, most folks are hired not for their skills, or talent, but because they had a friend who worked there. That's why their games lack the quality; cause almost nobody there actually has experience, or at least proven experience with developing games. So they keep telling us this load of Bantha Dung is AAAA quality, eventually they'll run out of money to finance the 55 departments across the globe making these highway robberies, or finance the next yacht for the CEO. Also nice video, first time seeing ya, so was caught off guard with the look, lol
So far my favorite thing about this game is the guy saying "this game looks really good, I honestly think Ubisoft outdid themselves." And then immediately falling through the world.
Given the bugs and stupid behavior of the enemy AI, the stealth mechanics, the motorcycle (horses in AC) and the dropping of picked up weapons... we can conclude that this game is just a reskin of Assassin's Creed with all the flaws that implies. Ubisoft will not change anymore, no point in hoping they will make good new games. They only know how to apply the same formula over and over again, bugs included.
The conversations in this game are like two very close friends, but the second one just came after work and is just too tired to listen: -“Man, I really need some cheering up after this day… What about you?” -“Uh-huh.”

Another thing that really bothers me about the stealth, or rather the hand-to-hand combat overall, is her punching a lotta armored guys with her bare hands. How the fuck is that supposed to take them out? They tank grenades, but a bonk is knocking them over? I know, it seems like a petty complaint, as there are certainly more pressing issues with the game. It just highlights this remarkable lack of attention to detail. You could have her tase them with some nifty tool or at least she could choke them out but nah.
Grill bosses dont use weapons because that's toxic masculinity. Have to use hand to hand to emasculate the men by being folded by a female who's smaller than most twinks.

Legit dont understand how they could have fucked up a star wars game this badly. SERIOUSLY, Star wars is one of the best selling IPS, yet they somehow fuck this up so badly that no one even wants to buy this.
I think it comes down to extreme hubris on the part of the developers, especially at the very top. It also seems to me that almost no one at the studio actually loves the franchise, it's just another big IP for them to exploit and put on their resume.

The programmers are valuable, far more valuable than artists and writers and pr, so they will be fired last. When it comes to saving costs the groups i mentioned are fired first.

All they had to do in order to perfect the physical appearance of the protagonist was just to make an exact replica of the model, but instead they chose to make her as uncanny valley as possible.

You know, the way you can't keep weapons and constantly drop them gives this game the vibe of a classic platformer with temporary power ups like Eco in the first jak and daxter. Maybe this game should'nt have been labeled as an open world crime simulator.
It's like assassin creed 3 where you can only keep like 1 pistol, 1 melee weapon on you while all the rifles are single use and immediately ditched once you run out of ammo or try to swap to another weapon

I've also noticed a really weird glitch where the stormtroopers will make a woman NPC's noises instead of stormtrooper noises when they are taken out. I mean it's REALLY funny but someone needs to fix that, totally ruins the immersion

What confuses the sh*t out of me with them downgrading Humberly's appearance for Kay, is that this is a rampant issue with AAA games? They did it with Abby in TLOU 2, the female Pathfinder in Mass Effect: Andromeda, Aloy in Horizon: Forbidden West. All of the sources for the actual characters are gorgeous, and they digitally alter their faces for no reason?? I've seen online a couple people call it "empathy feminism", but honestly I just think it's some weird tactic to avoid any potential claims of making "eye candy" or "male gaze" characters, and so just make them look less attractive (even if it means they don't fit the mo-cap as well).
and there are people who deny this and call you a grifter if you talk about it and say that you need to accept that the games you grew up are no longer the mainstream...bro, most games that come out nowadays flop, there is no "new mainstream".
This game's AI makes no sense. I just started playing Jedi Survivor on medium difficulty and they are still much more of a presence and threat than this games maximum difficulty.

This told me two things: they don't know what they're doing so they have to steal work from others in the game jams to repurpose for their work (EA has been caught doing this kind of shite with Indie devs). Second, most folks are hired not for their skills, or talent, but because they had a friend who worked there. That's why their games lack the quality; cause almost nobody there actually has experience, or at least proven experience with developing games.
So they keep telling us this load of Bantha Dung is AAAA quality, eventually they'll run out of money to finance the 55 departments across the globe making these highway robberies, or finance the next yacht for the CEO.

Given the bugs and stupid behavior of the enemy AI, the stealth mechanics, the motorcycle (horses in AC) and the dropping of picked up weapons... we can conclude that this game is just a reskin of Assassin's Creed with all the flaws that implies. Ubisoft will not change anymore, no point in hoping they will make good new games. They only know how to apply the same formula over and over again, bugs included.

You know, the way you can't keep weapons and constantly drop them gives this game the vibe of a classic platformer with temporary power ups like Eco in the first jak and daxter. Maybe this game should'nt have been labeled as an open world crime simulator.
It's like assassin creed 3 where you can only keep like 1 pistol, 1 melee weapon on you while all the rifles are single use and immediately ditched once you run out of ammo or try to swap to another weapon

What confuses the sh*t out of me with them downgrading Humberly's appearance for Kay, is that this is a rampant issue with AAA games? They did it with Abby in TLOU 2, the female Pathfinder in Mass Effect: Andromeda, Aloy in Horizon: Forbidden West. All of the sources for the actual characters are gorgeous, and they digitally alter their faces for no reason?? I've seen online a couple people call it "empathy feminism", but honestly I just think it's some weird tactic to avoid any potential claims of making "eye candy" or "male gaze" characters, and so just make them look less attractive (even if it means they don't fit the mo-cap as well).

This game's AI makes no sense. I just started playing Jedi Survivor on medium difficulty and they are still much more of a presence and threat than this games maximum difficulty.
