A few things that actually helped to control my hairfall include: (1) I quit wearing hair ties because it causes tension breakage. (2) I began massaging my hair and scalp twice a week with liitleextra cocoonnion hair oil while leaning forward & holding my head inverted to allow blood flow to the scalp. (3) Covering my head while moving out to safeguard my hair from pollution. (4) Using soft shampoo again from liittleextra only to wash my hair.

It's funny how different products work for different people. This stuff is amazing in my hair ( medium thickness, very straight) Also great for my younger daughter who has very fine, dry blond hair. It sucks for my other daughter's thick, wavy hair.
My hair is very frizzy, thick, coarse, wavy and long (but not as long as yours) and i loved it! That shampoo and conditioner leave my hair clean, super soft and smelling delicious, usually i don't like synthetic fragrances but i really liked the smell of it. I used the line for like 4 months and i have no complains about it.

forever belle nope! Well, actually i used all the coconut milk line, included the oil mist, the oil mist reduced my frizz significantly but the shampoo and conditioner without the mist works kinda ok for the frizz. I insist, my hair is absolutely frizzy, no matter what products i use, the frizz never disappears 100%

Tbh I actually thought Maui was more for textured hair rather than straight hair bc mine is coarse wavy and maui works well!
It probably didnt work for you because this line (maui moisture) makes their products without any protein ! My hair loves this stuff cause my hair h a t e s protein. Just a heads up ladies! Haha

I love that they're natural products but I agree , I don't have dry hair but after using their conditioner it made my hair dry ! I wish it worked for me because it's so affordable 😊

I have curly hair and I use to straighten my hair for 2 years straight and this is a brand saved my curls but remember this may not be the shampoo and conditioner ur hair needs cuz we all have different types of curls and hair patterns so just try others brands or other shampoos in the Maui moisture line
This line is primarily for curly and dry hair, for which silicones and sulphates are drying. You have straight hair and can benefit from standard products with silicones and sulphates and use them as normal.
ya i tried it and i didn’t like it ... i traded it in for aussie moist moisture conditioner avocado, it works so well and makes my hair so soft and feel amazing if u want to try and give a review
I`ve been using it for quite a long time now, but always had problems with dry & frizzy hair and my split ends got worse recently. That`s why I`m doing some research now... so it might really be the shampoo! Thanks for the eye-opening video! I`ll try one of your recommended shampoos
I don't know if you have tried any of the other maui moisture line but I gave tried them all and the shea butter shampoo and conditioner was way more moisturizing and literally took my frizz away. The purple set.
I’ve been researching this line as well so I was excited to see that you had already done a review on it. I literally looked at these products in the store last night but they didn’t carry all of their collections. My hair is very similar to yours from what I’ve gathered from watching your videos & I’m also a Calia & The Innate Life user. I passed these products up because the one you reviewed here was available but it didn’t seem like it was going to be enough moisture for me either- I don’t know how I sensed this! I decided to go elsewhere & try their masks because this store didn’t have any of their masks but I do want to try at least one of them. I need more shampoo/conditioner like a whole in the head (I literally own each type that Calia carries plus many others) so I’m opting to just try one of the masks first. I may eventually try a shampoo/conditioner of theirs if I can find one of the other collections that calls out to me!
Honestly if you're already using Calia and/or The Innate Life there's no point in going back! Those 2 brands have the best shampoos and conditioners I've ever tried, I always go back to them and I will continue to repurchase again and again lol

Im trying out the Maui moisture shampoo and conditioner from the purple line and it's been about a week and the shampoo makes my hair feel like straw! The conditioner is awesome and gets rid of the straw like texture and really moisturises my hair. I won't be buying the shampoo again but I might get the conditioner.

I have curly hair and I have tried this too... it’s currently in my shower and I’m almost done the shampoo and conditioner bottles...It has made my hair really dry and brittle... I’m looking for an alternate... but saw your review and I wondered if you had the same experience as me. Any other suggestions out there?
I prefer to use "cleaner" products like The Innate Life, Calia, or Carina Organics. Feel Good Etc is also really good!

i'm sorry it didn't work for you. I really love the Maui Moisture line! I have chemically relaxed or chemically-treated hair, and it works just wonderfully for me! I've used just about every product of the Maui Moisture line accept for the one for color-treated hair, and I love it!
I use the pink line-light hydration which is great for low porosity hair.

Same experience like u had. I tried purple/pink bottle Mm I think it was moisture and all I got was dry unmanageable hair and more frizz and dryness😐 so I discontinued to use it and have never gone back to it. Lately purchased Tabitha James Kraan certified organic shampoo and conditioner and pray that my hair will finally like it🙏🏻

Would you review the Cantu cream shampoo and conditioner? I have very similar hair to you (a bit longer and straighter), but I have limited sulphate free options and this is one of the few I can get a hold of - however seems very much a curly girl product being shea butter based xx Love your vids!

I tried the coconut milk shampoo and it’s terrible on my blonde natural straight hair. It’s very waxy and I shampoo twice. It makes my have Matt up and get super knotted. I love the smell but detangling my hair after caused a lot of breakage.
I have the same one but i love it but then again i only use the conditioner (: it works great added a lot of moisture to my hair and easy to brush(:
Hi Anna ! I used the purple conditionner for a month with my regular natural shampoo (oneka). It made my hair looks disgusting. My roots became greasy after only two days and my tips were dry and weird looking. (I have fine curly hair)

Renpure was horrible on my hair . Tangles & super dry . Maui made my hair soft , tangle free i shud try it works diff for every1. Shea moisture is good too ive tried n worked nice for my hair

I bought this just now, but I did not get the conditioner because conditioner shampoos make my hair dry, I'm still going to try the shampoo only since I've been using Pantene and Head & Shoulders.

it's likely you are not used to sulphate and silicone free shampoos so you are using more product and scrubbing vigorously in order to get the kind of lather you are used to. don't do that. The conditioners are excellent. Whilst in the shower comb the conditioner through with a Denman brush.

Yes! And I haven't found a shampoo bar that I really like yet, I've only used one from Lush but it has SLS in it
I think they have silicone in it. I stopped using it because of that.

i love to try different shampoos. i tried ACURE. I thought it was very drying and hard to rinse out. I used it a few times to see if maybe using less would be better but my hair felt too dry afterwards.

It contains Coconut Water, milk and Oil. Coconut in general is not for everyone because it is protein dense. A lot of protein can make your hair feel hard and dry. I have issues with coconut based products too.

I'm not a fan of Maui Moisture. I bought several of the lines to try. All of them were way too fragrant for me and my hair felt dry on the ends despite using argan oil.
Acure is a nice line.
I have been using Desert Essence new anti breakage line and think I like it. I have used several of there shampoos and conditioners, the scents aren't *fake* smelling and they have unscented shampoo and conditioner. I frequently use their conditioner as a cowash (I tend to like the coconut or mango best) and don't have issues with build up. I tend to only shampoo when I use a mask treatment, which is about twice a month. I cowash the rest of the time. Their body soaps are great too.

They essentially have the same ingredients that replace the silicones and sulfates so I don't want to try them and dry my hair out more ☹️

I never know why curly girls recommend them so much... my hair looks like the same texture as yours but maybe a little finer and I HATED these products! The shampoo did nothing except leave a waxy-feeling residue on my hair and the conditioner smelled like straight alcohol and dried my hair out more than anything! It's so weird but I guess for the price they have to add cheaper ingredients.
I thought maybe it was just this line I was using but I guess not. Everything works differently for everyone so maybe it works better for those with thicker or coarser hair? It's all trial and error 😅

Becca Laurel Well, you just said it yourself. Curly girls like this product, because it may only work good for wavy/curly hair. Curly hair needs different things than straight hair. You have straight so i think that's the reason why it doesn't work for you.
I'd say it's not made for straight hair then. If curly hair ppl recommend it then it just means it works well with curly hair and that's all there is to it.
