I don't understand how your SPOM is self sufficient, mine doesnt produce nearly enough hydrogen to work without outside energy power ...
Edit nevermind my mistake was that the top automated valve was set to below 500 instead of above so it was pumping constantly, consuming too much power.

The flooding at 2:20 happend because the nozzle of your bottle emptier was in a tile.
You should adjust the radbolt generator so they fill 100% in 1 shot (you lose some radbolt when it goes through gases) so maybe 103 radbolt could be good. Also maybe add a deflector so extra radbolt don't hit your dupes but go somewhere else and smash into a wall to stop it.
Your aquatuner setup at the end opf the episode will be problematic. Go in from the left, go up 1 tile, go right 1 tile, then use a bridge down over the output and leave the aquatuner down so the output meets the bridge. This way no water blob will be stuck in it and cause an iregular flow.

Yep, that's exactly what happened, but it worked out in the end since it gave me a third tile of salt water where the bottle emptier is, just to be safe.
Yes, I should do it that way, you are right. Again, just to be safe. Redirecting the Radbolt is definitely a good call!
I have built that same setup hundreds, if not thousands of times and I don't see the problem you are describing with the blob of water. I understand how you want to rebuild it, but I don't see a functional difference?!

I wouldn't turn off the radbolt generator except until there is no more materials research that can be done. The radbolt generator loses any stored radbolts when it is unpowered, plus it won't make radbolts in the delta between turnoff and someone starts materials research. I also wall off between the wheeze warts and the research terminal except for a tile at the top - sending radbolts across the top, then down into the receptacle so it can never hit a dupe. Terminal only accessible from the right, but in your case from the top or bottom would work.

Really depends on what you are doing. I usually research stuff only when I need it, so there is a lot of downtime.

Hey bier for the gas infinite storage I use the liquid shutoff to get accurate estimates for liquid. It's a quick build. But I keep a random liquid storage near areas where it's specifically used for infinite storage.

That is definitely a good solution! Especially early game the mopping works great, which is why I love to sjow it off. If I should need another one I will use your suggestion if it works out that way :) Thank you!

If you're hurting for food you can always use the natural gas to to create atmosphere for a mushroom farm via the generator.
