Ive got the Tour Edge e723 irons and they are the most forgiving I've ever tried. They are definitely worth a look if your in the market for a set of game improvement irons that won't break the bank. Another great video Chris. God Bless and keep them coming.
I went from Cleveland Launchers to P790s a year ago and to be honest I haven’t noticed much of a change. The distance is the same but dispersion is a touch better. Handicap unchanged although I do play a more challenging course now.
first time i seen anyone refer to the P790 as a GI iron. TM say the P790 is a Players Distance iron. And the P770 is a Modern Players iron. 7 irons are 30.5 and 33. I would think TM's GI iron is the Qi
I thought the PXG indoors was the most consistant, distance and accuracy was better than most of the others. But being there, hitting them, hearing the sound of ball on clubface, is a dynamic the viewer misses. The prices are rather high in all options, and is why the Tacomo is a welcome addition, Daves 2025 option is a good one, the T200 is a great choice.
Need to compare your winner from this test to models from Wilson, Tour edge exotic and Cleveland. Nothing but positives from these brands in this category

Buying clubs is a lot like dating. Looks good, feels good, performs how you want, keep it around til something better comes along
my vote would be the Callaway either the 200 or the 300
Since when has the P790 been a game improvement iron?
P770 is players distance. P790 GI.

@@andyfrizzell4352 P790 is PD. Qi is GI. According to TM and all reviews I’ve read.
No Wilson?
Wilson?
Forget all that get a MacGregor MACSPD with recoil graphite shaft for $489.99 one of the top picks for 2024
Now you should try Tour Edges iron for Dave he would like there price point

Isn’t the P790 a players distance iron?
Chris,
How would you compare Blackops vs Takomo 101? Senior golfer 20 handicap. Very difficult to hit both to test.
No tour edge?
None of the above,,,, Cleveland Launcher XL Fullface irons, now that is proper game improvement !
i think i would choose Black Ops but go even further and choose the GEN 7 XP great video by the way Chris cheers from Canaada
I'm going to look at Caley irons, probably the O1T version and go graphite shaft.
Takomo would be better all around I think
Cleveland Zipcore XL is a corker
Why do slower swing speed players need more loft in driver, then they give lower lofted irons? Doesn't make sense to me.
Dave go T150 and I think you won’t be disappointed and I think you will be surprised
Wilson?
Tried all of those irons but went with the Wilson dyna power forged - such a great iron !
