@@OtiBetri Yes, they used the stars to assist them in navigating around the world. Before GPS they used the stars for that reason. That is why 210 visible stars have Arabic names. Is is not wrong to use them in that regard. But to associate partners with Allah is shirk which you know is a big no no sin. It is okay if you're just learning this now! Allah does not punish us for our own ignorance, just focus on Istighfaar and moving forward InShaAllah :)
